We stopped in to get some holiday gifts for our family and friend’s dogs and found the perfect gifts. A great place to shop for pets anytime of year. And, the staff was super friendly. Very nice first encounter. I will definitely be going back. Ladies were really nice and helpful. I even got some samples to try out so hopefully kitties take a liking to. I like that they also have a return policy if kitties don't like for any reasonable reason. In all it looks like nice spot and close to home.

I love Mud Bay! The staff there are knowledgeable and helpful. Toys, treats, CBD, doggy sunscreen, clothes, critter furniture, samples, and much more. Parking can be a pain but it's the only place we go! They can special order too. I'm not sure about delivery.

We love to come here. The staff is extremely friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I always feel good when I ask the staff for their opinions on dog and cat food because they always offer multiple choices and explanations on each of them.Bill is also in it for the staff but he's more interested in the treats. ;)

I very rarely write reviews but found it necessary to write one for Mud Bay Lakeway. It was mine and my pups first time in and I can honestly say it was the most wonderful pet shop experience I have ever had. Exceptional customer service, the staff was so kind and knowledgeable, and the product selection was fabulous. A great impression was made, I left with a smile on my face and with undoubtedly be back again! Tuesday August 1st staff, thank you so very much!

Seriously cannot recommend this place enough! Super knowledgeable and friendly staff, a fantastic well priced selection, and probably the coolest thing I’ve ever seen a business do, they sample out products free of charge! I have a super picky eater and this program has helped me figure out what she’ll eat without breaking the bank. Shout out to Richard in particular; they’re super helpful. ^^

At the Lakeway store in Bellingham 6/25/23. Staff is always super helpful and kind. We forgot our dogs food and bowl at home 30 minutes away. Decided to run in to Mud Bay for a small bag of kibble. Sam, Jack and Richard were so helpful and gave us a couple of their samples from behind the counter and even grabbed a paper plate for us so we could feed our puppers. Always a great experience going into the store with staff of this caliber.

Mudbay is a locally owned chain of pet stores that is an employee owned style of operations. Friendly and outgoing staff. Great selection of products, and if they don't have what you're looking for, they will try and bring it in for you. Utilize their free trail of products if you're unsure if your cat or dog will like the item. They truly do their best to look out for your furry family members. (The dog/cat, not Grandma) They also have a free sample wall of you just want to try a small sample or need an on the go snack for the kitten or pup.I've always enjoyed my experiences here.Such a great addition to B'ham.

Has all the brands I love and some I am yet to love! Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. So many treats to choose from including some tough chews for my tough chewer!! I got these liver treats for my dog to distract him on dog walks.

Always been good to me at MudBay Lakeway in Bellingham. Everyone is always eager to help! My dog started losing his hair in one spot which is what brought me in a few years back, they quickly huddled up and came up with a solution. A few weeks later the problem was gone. I’ll never go anywhere else. They’ve earned my trust and loyalty. Thank you!

Staff is always friendly and helpful! I have a cat that's getting older, and a staff member was able to recommend some kinds of wet food without missing a beat. My cat also had allergies and itchy skin, and an organic wound/ skin relief I found there for $10 had basically accomplished in a week what I've been trying to treat for months. Highly recommend 👌

I have nothing but amazing things to say. They go so far out of their way to help me. My cats diabetic so she has a strict diet and they order me her treats so I can get a whole pack at once and not worry about running out and it’s so appreciated! The prices are super fair and for a employee owned company with such good customer support at both locations I only go to mudbay, I’ve had wonderful encounters with all employees but Laurel has really stood out to me she’s full of great energy

The best pet store in town, and by far the best pet store I've ever been into. Super friendly staff, awesome selection and killer return policy. The staff walks the thin line of being really helpful without being pushy or annoying. They helped me pick out some new food for my picky pup. They've returned items my dog hated and never used with no questions asked. They have an awesome toy and treat selection. I go here all the time and go to the bulk dog treats aisle which my dog loves. Only request: CARRY COW HOOVES!! My dog loves em. We have to support other businesses because Mud Bay hasn't found a reputable source for them. I respect them for that though. Overall awesome place and killer staff.

I have been here several times to buy a variety of foods to hold the interest of my 14 year old cat who is on chemo. Their selection is excellent for a fairly small - looking store. For toys I do recommend the Bakerview location for its broader selection, but my gut feel is that the food selection is equivalent between the two locations; this one merely keeps less stock on display. Staff are consistently friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Our favorite pet food / snacks / toys / furniture / treats store in Bellingham, hands down! The staff are always willing to answer any questions and point you in the right direction. A great many number of "other" retailers could learn a thing or two from Mud Bay re: staffing and staff training. The store is well merchandised with a vast array of items / brands to choose from. Pricing is also very competitive. Thank you Mud Bay, you make my pet food pick-up days just that much easier!

Super great customer service! I come at least once a month. When you first walk in the door they always greet you and ask if you need help with anything. Staff is super knowledgeable on products and pets. If they don't know something they will find it for you. Products are great for pets and generally a decent price. I also love that they have a scale to weigh my pup on.

This Mud Bay in Bellingham is by far the best one in the company (although I haven’t been to the flagship in olympia). The most friendly, competent service. Always a friendly greeting and genuine concern for my English Bulldogs wellness. Jessica, Kira, Chelsea, Terrah have been absolutely wonderful. (Kira is in olympia now). There are so many staff that I’ve forgotten to mention…I’m sorry. This store staff is professional, knowledgeable and make you feel welcome and helped. Thank you I can’t say enough about the awesome card you have shown our English bulldog Marmalade She loves you ALL!!!

This is one of the best pet stores in town! They have lots of selection and good prices, but that's not what makes Mud Bay special. What really makes this store stand out is the excellent customer care they provide. Having trouble figuring out what kind of food your picky cat will eat? They will sample out some different options for you to try for free! Bought a bunch of food only to find out you have to change your dogs diet? No problem. Bring it back for store credit. I specialize in rescue animals and they can have specialized needs right off the bat. Mud Bay has worked with me, helped with some expert advice, and swapped out food that wasn't making the cut. They really know how to build a solid and loyal customer base. I'm sold.
