The staff and doctors at Maplewood are kind, compassionate and always patient with my many texts and questions, assuring an answer by the end of the day. They are conscious of my budget which has to support three dogs of various ages and needs so I appreciate that they honor the choices I make. The staff know my name, know my dogs, and shower us with personal attention when we come in. A friendly face and demeanor means a lot to a concerned pet parent.

They just saved my cats life. I was highly considering having to put her down because she was so sick and she’s not even two years old yet the veterinarian did not give up on her as he must have just known she could make it. I was a wreck all week long, things have been stressful and chaotic. I won’t say exactly what they did to help me out, but they truly have helped me be able to take care of my cat. They showed compassion and kindness the veterinarian is knowledgeable and takes the least expensive simplest route first. They truly helped relieve some of my stress during a challenging time. This is also not the first time they have been able to help me take care of an animal in the past I had an emergency where my dog had a piece of glass in his paw, and they took him in right away. I have always known Maplewood animal Hospital to be a fairly priced clinic,they truly care about the animals. It’s not always about the money here. Highly recommend anyone to trust them with your pets.

These folks are understanding and accommodating. My dog is very anxious and has very infrequently even left our home/yard. He needed special handling and boy were they good to him. I've got a follow up in 3 weeks and while it's a process getting my dog in the car, it's smooth sailing once we arrive, so I'm looking forward to getting our pet all squared away!

Great place to take a nervous pup. Even with CBD treats and the staff giving him cheese, Jax was still startled by the unfamiliar surroundings, people, and vaccines. The doc and assistant helped me calm him down! Thanks everybody.

All the vets, vet techs, and staff are so friendly and reassuring. I appreciate we can send inquiries and pictures via text as needed when something comes up thats not life threatening but still taken seriously and don't have to fork over for an office visit that can be fixed over the phone. I truly appreciate their approach to my dogs care and feel she is always well taken care of by everyone there.

I have always had excellent care here - kind and gentle vet techs and veterinarians. They listen, are respectful, and take care of my pet and my concerns. Took my senior dog here when we first moved to Bellingham after a bad experience at Bellingham Veterinary. They treated my old girl with gentle hands and showed lots of care. I had such a great experience with Maplewood Animal Hospital that we have started to take our little Buddy here and their excellence continues to amaze me. They were so understanding and patient with me when we were 15 minutes late from the appointment time (car door was frozen shut). The veterinarian took such good care of my cat and gave us all the possible options we could do for our baby when we told him our finances were short. He appeared to really care for our cat and made sure we were well informed about what he needed and what we could do from home. My cat has been to 3 other vet clinics. One treated him like he was violent (he's a huge people loving person), another we couldn't afford, and the other was flooded out. We loved the service here and I will definitely keep coming back!

We had an emergency with are new kitty and I showed up without an appointment at 8 A.M. Monday morning. They took care of Ruby and we had her home that evening at surgery. I wasn't over charged, very friendly and helpful. They called the next morning to see how Ruby was feeling.

We had this spot recommended by a few friends so I called in hopes of getting a same day appointment because our girl cut the pad of her paw 🐾 they squeeze her in but we didn’t feel rushed. The Dr. Explained everything that he was going to do and why then took her to the back to clean her paw and wrap her up. When she came out she looked so much happier. Super happy with the entire experience 💕

I can’t say enough great things about this vet. They are always able to get me in for an appointment. The doctors are patient and talk with me through all my concerns about my pet. Recently switched from another vet in town, and I can't say enough good stuff about Maplewood. An absolutely fantastic team. Every single person is top-notch at what they do. We are extremely confident in the care our dog is getting now which is a good feeling. She is incredibly difficult with nail clippings and most groomers around town won't even take her, but the staff at Maplewood handle it professionally and quickly every single time. Can't thank you all enough!

Our Itish Terrier is goingon 14 and Dr Rabkin has been excellent in helping us work through our dog's various issues as she gets older. We took our dog here after he had a traumatic experience with another local vet. He saw Dr. Dunbar at Maplewood and she and the tech were so patient and were able to accomplish his vaccination and exam with no problem (despite our dog being a drama queen). Our rabbit has also been seen there and staff was friendly and super helpful. We've tried several vet clinics in Bellingham and Maplewood is by far the best ❤️

Maplewood Animal Hospital was able to work my pup in after injuring herself the night before. I was able to text photos for the Doctors to review prior to her appointment and arrange for drop off and surgery within hours of my call even as a new patient.I was given a pre-surgery estimate, information on payment options and Alan had the care credit program up and ready for me to apply when I arrived. (A special thanks to Alan who calmed me down, helped me through my initial call, financing and coordination of info to the doctors).The entire team was kind, caring and efficient with the steady flow of new arrivals. The team has my utmost respect and gratitude for helping Aubyn. It is obvious they believe in providing quality care as a priority!I will certainly be moving my pets care to Maplewood.

Maplewood had a prescription dog food that I needed in stock. My vet can order it but doesn’t usually stock it. After validating the prescription, they informed me that they “…will sell the food to me this time but because you’re not a real client of ours, we won’t be willing to to do this again.” I thought ok, so I’m not a “real client” of yours, and with this attitude, I never will be. Of course I took the food, but she is correct that it won’t happen again.
