Locus is the mellow, lounge, city atmosphere joint we've been craving in Bellingham for so long. A+ for atmosphere (especially for supporting local artists in incorporating graffiti art into the decor). A+ for friendly, helpful and efficient staff. A+ for delicious coffee and cider.Update 2024 to say that the food quality and vegan options have vastly improved.. We enjoyed a sizable and delicious pretzel and avocado toast.That said, there's much to love about this local establishment and we'll definitely be back, if only for coffee.

Absolutely amazing 😍 we got the blue moon latte with oat milk and the yellow brick road with almond milk. They were both so unique and delicious. Would definitely recommend going here! Cant wait to come back and try their mimosa flightsDietary restrictions: They have dairy free options

Good coffee, interesting ambiance, a little overpriced. But a good place for meetings.Why are the window seats so much higher than the chairs? It makes for a weird vibe at the tables.

Couple friends and I came here yesterday for breakfast. We got their mimosa flat and one of their breakfast wraps. This little slice of heaven was totally worth it! The 4 mimosas we got on the flat were: habanero, blackberry, watermelon and peach. The best part was, they were full sized mimosas! And not the sample size ones you would usually get. They all had yummy unique tastes to them, my favorite would probably be the watermelon or blackberry. Then our breakfast wraps came, which they have different types of sauces to pick from that comes on the side you can smother (I love me some saucey sauce to dip) over your wrap as you eat. I got their chorizo wrap that was packed with chorizo and hashbrowns and chives cream cheese, was so mouth watering! And the tortilla wrap itself, mmm m mmm! The tortilla was cooked, but at the same time had the most amazing crunch and flackiness on the outside that just topped it off! The vibe of the place was very nice and chill, the server we got was a super nice girl who also made our bomb mimosas. I hope anyone else that goes here has a great time like I did.

Stopped in for a coffee and a snack and undoubtedly had one of the pairing of the two I’ve ever gotten to try.I tried the Tonkin Street and it was a fantastic drink, the coffee and sweetness worked together perfectly without overpowering each other and the foam and condensed milk was velvety and smooth. Be warned, you’re getting four shots in the 16 oz!The Ham and Cheese croissant was insanely good it puts any other I’ve had to shame, it wasn’t dry like usual and the croissant was crunchy and buttery. Apple slices were a nice pairing.I spent like $12 I think and was so pleased with my experience. Atmosphere is great. If I was a student I’d come in here for a hand crafted quality beverage and delicious food item happily while I study. Can’t recommend enough!

I'll definitely be coming back to Locus for their delicious coffee specials and their breakfast wraps. I ordered the bacon wrap with chipotle sauce, and it came out piping hot and golden brown, while the sauce added a nice kick. Try the Nectar Burst! Not a lot of seating, unfortunately, about five or six groups fit comfortably. Super friendly service was a plus!

Worth all the hyped and all the 5 stars! The only complaint that I have is that the veggie sandwich is a little plain but everything else that we ordered are super tasty. My friends ordered the ham wrap and the bacon wrap. Really nice! We also brought our dogs here and sit outside. Outside is covered under roof so it’s fine when it’s raining.

Was there on a super rainy day off, just as they opened. Very friendly staff and fun, colorful, laid-back atmosphere. Ordered a hot Spiced Mirage mocha with a Parmesan bagel. The drink was phenomenal, with the perfect amount of spice and flavor. The bagel with cream cheese was also delicious. A perfect place to start one’s day.

Really enjoyed my time at this cafe. It had an eclectic atmosphere. Cool chill out/club type music. Their drink menu is creative. The food menu was pretty simple. I wish they had more veggie options or just more fillings. I had a veggie croissant and an Americano, which was very smooth, not bitter or sour. I would definitely come back here.

It was a great place for coffee. Very modern looking with a touch of zazz with the art they have there. The caramel macchiato was fabulous. 😍 The staff was very friendly and kind. Oh, and there were some positive messages on my cup. Love it! Highly recommend.

Great coffee, great food, excellent service. I had the ham croissant and a latte - it was incredible. My boyfriend also really enjoyed the bacon sandwich. The venue fit out is so nice, I didn’t want to leave.

Tucked away on E Holly, this hidden gem works to build a customer base after opening during a tough time.My family and I were in town and looked up a place to grab lunch. Locus popped up and had a perfect 5 star rating. I thought it too good to be true and directed everyone there so I could see for myself.We sat outside on their flower lined patio listening to the music from the gyro stand right next door.Jessica brought us water and Casey came out to check on us. Both were incredibly friendly and happy to answer any questions.To drink, we got the wine pop Shlushee (pictured) a Frozé drink with a strawberry and a show. When they bring it out they put poprocks on the top and they pop everywhere, very entertaining and clever. We also got the bottomless mimosa that came with a full bottle of champagne and unlimited juice.The food was very good, although I did find the chorizo need just a little something more. I got the chorizo breakfast wrap, and it came with a very tasty ranch dip. Also ordered were the tuna melt, which my dad greatly enjoyed, and it came with chips and salsa, causing him to comment that the salsa was incredibly fresh and very good. The walking taco was a sight to behold, served in a large mixing bowl it’s essentially a taco salad with Doritos, and was very tasty. And finally the bantam bengals were delectable little morsels.All in all, the ambiance, incredible and friendly service, and the food combined to be a wonderful experience I will be sure to repeat as soon as I can.

Both the veggie wrap and the chorizo wrap were delicious and filling, plus, they come with your choice of dipping sauce. Both the mocha and oatmilk latte were wonderful- oatmilk latte was smooth and creamy. My kids had a chocolate chip cookie that was served warm with a dusting of powder sugar- yum.Good food and coffee paired with a cool ambiance and friendly staff. Would 100% recommend

Try the black and white mocha coffee with espresso whipped cream!We also ordered vegetarian quick bytes - Bagel and BurrataI didn’t like the chai coffee with white chocolate since it had a strong turmeric flavor but overall vibe was good!

Discovered this cozy corner shop while searching for a new coffee place. We were skeptical of the 5-star rating with only 58 reviews over a whole year but thought we'd give it a shot. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. The menu items were unique and enticing. The food was amazing. Delicious, warm, and filling. We had a chorizo wrap and BLT. And the drinks were exactly what we wanted on a warm day. We had a bean quake and a caramel macchiato. Will most definitely be returning.

My wife and I really enjoyed this space. We came in for lunch and got lattes and a couple lunch options, as well as the dessert drink I shared a pic of.Excellent experience. Everyone is friendly, but also knowledgeable. The menu has simple but creative options with a large variety of choices. Most importantly of all they have a rotating seasonal menu!(June 2022: bruschetta sliders, breakfast wraps, fig jam and ham croissant sandwhiches, dill pickle soup...tried all three and they were bomb)They make good lattes. Nothing is overpriced. No fried food either, which is quite welcome given all the bar food in town.They also have some nice cocktails and drinks.They recently built and installed outdoor seating which is nice, and have live music a couple times a week.Worth a visit!

What an amazing time. Didn’t catch our waitress’s name but she was great and super friendly it was four of us and we all ordered mimosas if you remember us; thank you for everything you did amazing… first time in this amazing place, friends took us there and omg you guys aren’t playing and thank you for that! Great service and great mimosas will be visiting again when back in town and definitely will recommend this place to anyone! I know I said thank you many times but THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

Cute graffiti themed spot with loads of comfortable looking places to sit. In post covid times I could see myself coming here to sit in one of their cushioned sections to do some work. It seems they write a fun quote on every one of their to go cups which is very cute.I had the chorizo breakfast burrito and while it was pretty tasty, it did fall apart pretty immediately. I felt lucky that I was eating it at home because if I had not been it would have been very difficult to eat the insides that had fallen out in a clean way. Because of the grease and the burrito falling apart so quickly, I just wouldn’t consider this an easy to eat take away item. Still was very yummy and filling.

This was honestly the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had! The bacon sandwich and ham sandwich were both delicious and the drinks were equally impressive. The space is creative yet comfortable and the staff is super friendly.
