I was very pleased with the service I received here. Rodney is a nice man who quickly replaced 11 watch batteries for me. He also replaced a broken chain on a necklace I had. His prices were very reasonable. In looking around his shop I noticed several pieces of jewelry for sale if you're looking to make a purchase. I highly recommend this jewelry store.

After 32 years, my engagement ring lost one of its tiny diamonds. Jewelry Affair did a beautiful job replacing it and matching it, as well as strengthening all of the gold fasteners that are part of the design of the ring. My ring looks like it did the first day I wore it 32 years ago! I am very happy with the restoration, and the shop is fun and interesting to view while waiting. Lovely antiques and estate jewelry for sale. The salespeople are very kind and helpful, as well. I highly recommend this shop and jeweler, and if I need anything in the jewelry world, I will happily do business here again.

My (now) fiancée and I are from out of town and we visited her family here. I proposed while we were out here and the ring was a little too big. We were going to get the ring resized back home, but we decided to visit Jewelry Affair to get an opinion on resizing since we had some time. We told them we were leaving the next day and they were able to squeeze us in that day and have it done within a couple of hours (with an added cost, but worth it). The power went out but they were still able to finish it, too! Great service and they had really cute dogs! Would definitely recommend!

I called this morning and they were able to squeeze me in between a few other people who also wanted rings resized! I was very pleased with how fast they got it done. They were also very friendly and I enjoyed looking at all of the old photos they had hanging up on the walls.

Was in and out within minutes! Got my ring resized and got a broken latch on a bracelet fixed too! All that, and left with a really cool book about antiques. I’m subject to breaking jewelry and will definitely take it here, the prices are good, the owners are welcoming and helpful, and the atmosphere is wonderful, lots of beautiful jewelry to look at while you wait! Exceptional repair work, pricing and customer service at Jewelry Affair!My fiancé bought my engagement ring second-hand and needed to get it cleaned and resized for me. He brought it here and raved about the place! The work done was impeccable and very well priced. What a lovely shop with owners to match. We just moved into this lovely part of the world and "somehow" during the move I bent my wedding ring. Not knowing anyone in town to ask as to where I might have my ring repaired, during our daily walks through downtown Fairhaven, low and behold there was Jewelry Affair. They not only made it round again :-), they polished it up better than new! I think I paid $8. I would have paid 10 times that amount as this ring is so precious. I was ecstatic! I brought my lovely wife in the next day to have her matching ring buffed up as well and this time they wouldn't take my money. WOW! ANY jewelry needs going forward will be accomplished at Jewelry Affair, no question! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

I’m very pleased with my experience with Jewelry Affair. I dropped off my engagement ring to be resized on a Saturday afternoon and service was friendly and efficient. Pricing was very reasonable. My ring was done by Wednesday afternoon and came back to me the correct size and looking cleaner and shinier than when I had dropped it off. I would definitely recommend Jewelry Affair to someone who needed their ring resized.

My wedding set needed to be sized down, and my husband found this jeweler online. When I went in, Beth was super helpful with explaining the process and helping me figure out what size I needed to go down to. I was told it would for sure be done in a few days, but they were able to fit me in a bit sooner and I got my set back the next day! My ring has a specific setting for the side stones, and they were able to work with my ring to ensure everything looked perfect after the resizing. I’ll for sure be going back with any repairs my rings may need!

We wandered in to Jewelry Affair today after a poor experience at a different store left us feeling disappointed and a bit distrustful towards jewelers in general.Jewelry Affair was a breath of fresh air! Rodney stopped what he was doing to examine the ring and gave us a straightforward assessment of what the other jeweler had done. We were expecting the work to take at least a few days, but he resized, repaired, and re-shanked the ring in just a few hours! He's clearly an artist and his work is impeccable — the repair looks even better than we had imagined. We couldn't be happier! Rodney and Beth do a fantastic job. They just re -tipped my wedding ring! I've been having my jewelry checked there for years now after getting a recommendation. Rodney and Beth at Jewelry affair took such good care of my wedding ring. I brought it in to them in such bad shape I did not know if it could be restored. For a very reasonable price they did many repairs including resizing , replacing the center stone and removing and replacing all of the side stones. Jewelry Affair has been great! My engagement ring was over 3 sizes too big for me and when I brought it in to get resized they had it done for me the same day! But then I realized that the size we had decided on didn't work too well when my hands got cold, so I brought it in to get resized again. They were extremely helpful in making sure that I got the correct size again, and even took care of it while I was there! They are friendly and will make sure that you get exactly what you need. I definitely recommend them!

Beth helped put the finishing touch on a necklace which wasn't done to my liking by two jewelers prior. She went above and beyond to help. What I appreciated the most -- they called me to ask if I was right or left handed, which I wouldn't have even considered. An important attention to detail item! LOVE this place!!! I will be returning for all my jewelry needs.After going to countless shops looking for my perfect engagement ring I came back to the place i felt the most comfortable. The first time entering the store the owner took the time to answer all my questions and write down some designs I liked. I was just looking at the time and felt she really cared about finding what I wanted and was so happy just to do that for me. I appreciated the casual conversation with no expectations on purchasing that day; like the other jewelry stores I have been to. If you are looking for any work to be done on a ring, I would highly recommend this business.I had a request that I wasn't sure would work the way it did in my head - remove diamonds from a family ring, get their dimensions, have a ring maker in Europe make a custom ring with the dimensions, and finally have the diamonds placed in the new ring. Rodney at Jewelry Affair listened to my request, confidently explained to me the process of what would happen, and then did everything for me but make the ring (the rings for sale there were gorgeous, though). I was met with professionalism and excellent workmanship every step of the way, and the final product turned out better than I thought it could. He even fulfilled a request to insert diamonds in a spot the ring maker didn't think would work, and it was exactly aligned my vision. You will not be disappointed.

Rodney and Beth are awesome. Very friendly and easy to work with. This is the third piece Rodney has created for me. He did my wedding ring in 2003 and 4 years ago he took a sapphire and diamond ring my mother gave me when I turned 21 and created a beautiful leopard memorial pendant to hold her ashes . My mom would been proud as she loved animal prints. This time I took in a orange sapphire ring, an opal and black onyx ring, two diamond earrings and two pearls that I never wore for him to create pendant. He out did himself and came up with a beautiful design that highlights every piece in a beautiful gold setting that I will wear for years to come.Thank You gain Rodney and Beth.
