Excellent grab and go meals as well as a huge open area with two-story high windows to enjoy a meal. I had a bowl of the Big Easy Gumbo soup which was perfect on this chilly fall day. I have also picked up sushi in the past that I enjoyed.

I give the sushi folks 5 stars! They sell a lot of sushi there so it’s usually freshly made. If the folks there are making sushi they will make you specialty rolls or make you want you want even if it’s sold out in the case.The deli is good and they will heat up or cook things for you in store.The Chinese food always looks old and doesn’t taste great in my opinion.The produce at this store is always hit or miss.Meat counter is good and I like the in house crab salad and smoked salmon.Cheese counter is great! I wish they would put all the cheese together between the dairy section and cheese section, you have to go back and forth.Good selection of “regular” groceries although they are pricier than some others in town.

Sometimes I can find exactly the same items from Fred Mayer but almost double the price in Haggen. There are good things from Haggen, I like the deli and cheese. What I learn is just to look around, shop and look for alternatives at different places.

My favorite Haggens. I come here every morning at 5am, the staff in the mornings are always in a great mood. Not to mention, they will always heat me up any bagel I want before they even put them out for the day. Shoutout to Kay for being the best in the meat department. And shoutout to everyone who works in that Bakery. You guys are awesome!

good store . Terrible customer service I am always being followed by workers though every time I've been there I end up spending way more than intending but not cool to spend my money somewhere when my man and I are being profiled racism is not okay. They are so focused on the teens that come in their store they don't notice others that are actually stealing.

Just picked up our complete turkey dinner plus pumpkin 🥧. Even picked out tonight's dinner from the deli. No stress, great instructions, great helpful staff! Clean store just stocked full of goodies for your ❤️ hearts desire!

Bought some donuts and noticed flies on some of the donuts in the cabinet🤮I tried reporting this to the bakery department and they said that they have fly traps inside the cabinet but they haven’t changed them out in months…like ew.-Am I seriously gonna have to go to lafeen’s just to get good quality donuts that aren’t eaten by flies?

Haggens = Albertsons. Remember, they bought them out.Attached to this review are pictures of the flies that are always in the donut cabinet. This is the third time I've seen them across several months.The quality of baked goods and produce has suffered.The exact same canned and boxed goods in other stores are anywhere from 50-300% more expensive here.It's all the same generic national supply chain junk any store has but marked up even higher.

Nasty, they should have the health department take a look at their deli… the bakery has moths and it looks like they haven’t cleaned all their fridges in months, maybe years?? The managers and management harass the employees out in the open ;( don’t waste your dime on overpriced icky groceries

Bought a cake for my husband 6 days in advance knowing they had plenty of time. Looks like a 3 year old decorated it. Awful. Not happy. Never will I do it again. Highly recommend going somewhere else for cakes.

I love shopping here. The store is clean and well stocked, with very friendly staff. There's a variety of local brands available which is great for supporting businesses in Bellingham. Definitely my favorite grocery store to shop at!

Bought some sushi here that tastes like chemicals. As if someone had started preparing the sushi before whipping down the counter after spraying it with Clorox. It was awful and I had to spit it out. Grocery store sushi sushi is already iffy let alone when it tastes like someone is trying to poison you.

All the employees were very helpful to show me where all the items I needed and one lady she went in search for it in a different aisle just so I could get it and another guy reached up on the top shelf just to get me something.Then when I went to call a cab they said that they would call them back and let me know when the cab driver was there so I can sit down.I was having pain in my feet and length for standing too long due to two total knee Replacements in the near future. It was really nice when I saw the cab driver come in and tell me he was there to pick me up and it only took like about 12 minutes for him to get there!

Very expensive… I believe the prices are too high even though prices had to go up due to inflation. Still insane prices. My normal grocery store I shop at is cheaper. Also, I mostly wanted to shop for vegetables and only got 1/4 of what I went for due to the veggies looking really old and rotten. Not a good day for veggies at Haggens. I hope that is not the norm around their now.

Went to the store this morning to pickup breakfast and groceries. I usually rely on Google Pay when visiting this Haggen but this morning their pay systems were acting up and wouldn't accept it so I left with no groceries. While I'm sure it's not their fault, it's frustrating to feel like you can't rely on the payment systems at your store of choice.
