Mitch helped me out in 2021 when he was still over on Elm street. Today, 4/27/24 my phone suddenly stopped charging and went dead. I thought I needed a new battery. Instead, it was a quick simple fix. He looked at it, cleaned the port et voila! Fixed. He tried the cheap easy solution first and set me up! Knowledgeable and honest.

I rolled up on these guys with my galaxy s20+ that I had run over with my forklift and they were able to extract all my data! I didn't know until it was too late that none of my stuff was backed up in the cloud. Mitch and his staff were so nice and they definitely won a new returning customer. The price I paid was absolutely fair. Can't recommend highly enough!

My steamdeck wouldn’t boot. Dreaded black screen. I took it to another electronics repair shop and they had it for 3 months and returned it in the same condition I left it. Still unusable with a blank screen. FixCo Bellingham was friendly, knowledgeable, and utilized multiple resources to find the solution to the problem. Even though they are an hour drive, I’d absolutely come back for any other electronic repair. Very satisfied!

***Update***They went from 2 stars to 4 stars. Why? When I approached Mitch, the owner, about my iPad, he told me that their parts have a lifetime warranty and that there were some changes in staffing to address the issues that I (and presumably others) might have experienced regarding service quality. It took them a while to repair the iPad this time (given some inclement weather), but now that I’ve used it for at least 24 hours with no issues, they have gained back some trust in terms of service. I would give them five stars, but I was told the iPad would be ready at a specific time, only to show up after that time to find out it was incomplete. I don’t mind that it took long, just that the expectations for me (when to show up for the iPad) weren’t correctly set by the team.They’re a local business with a good track record, and I did notice they take their time to help each customer. Hopefully, having better team communication or whatever the issue was can avoid situations I was put in the future.Old Review for Reference:They were nice and friendly, but:1. They replaced my iPad screen, but it functions worse than when it was broken.2. They took out my SIM card when they repaired it, and I never got it back.I understand they were going through a move from one location to another, but I was disappointed in the overall work, considering it was way more expensive than other shops in town.Bottom line: great experience, friendly people, but not so excellent service (the two stars are for being super friendly)

He fixed my water damaged screen, ran diagnostics, found my battery life was running low, so replaced that too. The beginning of this week; I found my husband in a panic when his iPhone suddenly crashed, leaving him unable to access years worth of important notes, photos, contacts, and other documents. After some frantic searching and leaving the phone overnight with one company who couldn’t get it solved. That same company recommended going to FixCo, as they have more ability than they did especially with the failure we were experiencing. I called FixCo and they recommended coming in so they could see what was possible. We jumped in the car and headed straight there.From start to finish, the experience with FixCo was nothing short of stellar. Within minutes of arriving at their location, we received a prompt response from their team, reassuring us that they could help recover his data.The customer service we received throughout the entire process was exceptional. The team at FixCo was not only knowledgeable and professional but also incredibly understanding of the stress and urgency that comes with losing important data and also living 2 hours away. They patiently took us through each step of the recovery process, answering all of our questions and addressing any concerns we had along the way.But most importantly, FixCo delivered timely results. Despite the complexity of the issue, they managed to successfully recover every single piece of data from my husbands iPhone, restoring everything exactly as it was before the crash and sending it to the cloud. I cannot express the relief and gratitude I felt upon seeing my husbands sighs of relief as everything he thought was gone, was quickly restored.In addition to their top-notch service, FixCo's pricing was fair and transparent, with no hidden fees or surprises. My laptop screen was broken and I attempted to bring it in to Fixco for repair. They charged $423 which is a not a bad price for what was required, and they ordered the replacement piece that they said would be there the next day. I hadn't heard from them by the end of the following day, so I decided to call and followup. I was then told that they ordered the wrong piece, and that it would be an additional $100 for the correct piece. I said I wouldn't feel comfortable being charged an additional $100 after the point of service, and was told I would receive a call back later with a solution. That call back never came, so I visited in-person, in which I was offered a refund. It then took 3 additional calls across 3 weeks after that point to receive my refund. Looking at the rest of the reviews here, I hope this was just a one time mistake. However, this experience was extremely poor on so many ends, I think it is important to share.

If you need your cellphone or laptop fixed you have to come here! Mitch was super helpful and took the time to explain what all had to be fixed as well as some ways to prevent damage in the future. He was very up front about how long it would take and how much it would cost as well which was great!

I'm finding a hard time to fully explain how grateful I am for reaching out to Mitch and his staff for helping me with an emergency data recovery process on my business computer.A little back story: Being a small business owner, my computer is my essential tool that keeps everything moving on a daily basis. My hard drive crashed with approx. 1 year of un-backed up data. I took it into a larger software/ tech Maintenace company in town which they gratefully dropped what they were doing to assess the problem. Unfortunately, their diagnoses' only solution was to send off the hard drive out of state and have it reconstructed for file extraction with no guarantees or timelines.I wanted a get a second opinion and found Fixco online and was quite impressed with their reviews. After contacting Mitch, he was available to meet within the hour. He was able to allocate his resources and staff to tackle this issue right away, and after approx. 6 hours. of painstakingly vetting each individual file folders for corruption, they were able to recover all my relevant files and transferred to a new computer. A huge shout out to Caleb who was the main tech working with me on this project. He stayed extremely late and walked me through the whole process of salvaging / reinstalling the files, and during the whole time was super friendly and a pleasure to be around.Prior to contacting Fixco, my world was falling apart as I battled the fact of losing all my personal/ business/ accounting/ client Info, etc. Not knowing how or where to start to pick the pieces from this catastrophe, it is with great honor to say that Fixco truly saved the day to which I am unmeasurably grateful for their sense of urgency and execution of my situation.I highly recommend Fixco's services to anyone in need with cell phone/ computer repair services.Thank you Mitch and Caleb. I walked into the store feeling quite down because my phone wasn't charging anymore, and I was prepared to spend money on either a new battery or a charging port replacement. However, the technician at Fixco Store quickly resolved my issue with a simple solution.To my surprise, all he had to do was take a toothpick and clean the charging port of my phone. It seemed like such a small thing, but it worked like magic! My phone started charging again, and I couldn't believe how easy and inexpensive the fix was.The service was incredibly fast. After trying another repair shop without success, I heard about Fixco and Mitch, the owner. I suspected that I needed a new battery, which Mitch confirmed. It was going to take him a few days to install it because he was busy, but when he heard that I count on my computer on a daily basis, he told me to go back in three hours, that it would be ready. Mitch is knowledgeable, professional and very pleasant. I highly recommend him.

Great service!! Mitch is highly knowledgeable, efficient, transparent, and friendly. I came in to get my iPhone screen replaced and walked out less than an hour later with a new screen and phone case for a very reasonable $240. A few other customers came in while I was waiting and Mitch was equally helpful to each customer as he was with me. Will definitely be coming back to FIXCO if I have any other phone issues :)
