I love the people at Dewey Griffin. They are always welcoming and friendly. The complimentary car wash and shop vac are amazing added perks---as is the pet friendly atmosphere. Great experience at Dewey Griffin Subaru! Our salesman, Kris, did a thorough job! I purchased a brand new 2024 Subaru, it was a professional and relaxed purchase. The entire dealership "felt" relaxed, people seemed to like their jobs - which is so important to any business. They offered more detailed information about the car than at any other car purchase. I am invited to return for a follow-up with questions about the car (because cars today have a LOT of features). We also had great assistance from Nolan, Andrea and the dealership manager. I highly recommend this dealership for your purchases and service. Thank you to everyone at Dewey Griffin!

We went in to investigate a few differences between a Crosstrek and a Forester…But were nervous about getting pressured to purchase…or steered in a way that we wouldnt be able to make use of our headspace to think between my wife and I. (We call that getting “railroaded”)Anyways-My wife was greeted by Kris Parker, whom I caught up with briefly thereafter.Two things I really appreciated about my experience was:1) He accomodated all our desires to sit in things and answer our questions withput any leading questions or pressure about credit, trade ins, taking home today—— none of that.He just let us focus on investigating and explaining differences and features to us, and not alot of endless garble either… he just gave us answers, guided us, and let us talk between ourselves.Eventually, We landed on a Forester wilderness as what we liked…From there, we never felt “Handled” or pressured into further costs or complications.He was simple with us, pleasant to work with, and our transactions didnt feel pressured.We now own this forester, and I was so appreciative of Kris Parkers ease of company and assistance that I wanted to make this review.Really the whole of Dewy Griffin was the same.This is our second transaction there in 12 years and both have been stellar.Thank you Kris, and thank you Dewey Griffin.😊

I bought a used Outback from Will Glazier down at Dewey Griffin Subaru and he made it so easy and relaxing to buy a car. Sometimes when I would turn on the car it would do a funny shudder so I contacted Will about it and he told me to bring the vehicle back in. They ended up replacing the starter completely! Talk about service! Now the car runs perfectly and all my repairs are warrantied as well. I would give them six stars if I could!

We did a bit of shopping around to lease a new Forester. In the end, we decided to work with Kristopher Parker at Dewey Griffin. Kris was committed to making this experience positive, easy and efficient. He a great communicator. He also did his best and made sure we good a good deal on the purchase. We were able to figure everything out remotely and when the time came to pick up the car, Kris and Guy the finance person, made sure that we were able to do a quick turnaround. I visited the dealership on December 22nd with the intention of test driving a 2023 Subaru Outback Wilderness. Unfortunately, I was informed that the vehicle was temporarily unavailable as it had been taken by the owner for personal use and would not return until after the holiday season, around December 26th at the earliest. Fortuitously, I discovered that a nearby Carmax had the same model, but with 10,000 fewer miles, a lower price by $2,000, and additional features. I was pleased to purchase it on the same day.

I’ll give them two stars for the cleanliness of the facility. But I can’t give anything more because I genuinely don’t trust the service center to properly service my forester. The oil change service is exceptionally expensive, they charge $39.99 for a 5 tire rotation that other shops do as a courtesy. They didn’t prime the filter, they couldn’t re-aim my headlights that came messed up from the factory.They also quoted me $190/hour labor fee for all other work because I wanted a couple accessories installed, I find that price to be counter-to-customer service for a dealership that makes claims about being on the customers side.

I worked with Sean Mcinnis on a deal for a new Forester. Sean is by far the best salesman I’ve ever worked with.He has tons of experience in the industry and cuts the bull out of the car buying process and I always felt like he had our best interest in mind throughout the whole deal.You might be able to get a new Subaru for a few hundred bucks cheaper in Seattle but Dewey Griffin has a great reputation in the community for a reason.They give free car washes for life, have a service team that is quicker than anyone in town (they’re motivated because they are paid better than most service departments), and a lower tax rate than down south.If you want to save a few hundred bucks and are willing to drive down to Seattle then you can probably get a bit cheaper vehicle there but if you want to save the hassle and invest back into the Bellingham economy and Community then buy from Dewey.Oh also, if you want to work with Sean Mcinnis, call his direct number. You should be able to find it on their website

Hats off to Nate and the service team at Dewey Griffin Subaru. While traveling in the Bellingham area our Forrester experienced a thermal control valve failure. We had to get back on the road relatively quickly but the part was unfortunately back ordered. Nate was able to find one at another dealership in the area, secure it, and their service team installed it and got us back on the road in 3 days. We greatly appreciate that customer service effort. We had a very low-pressure experience here, which we appreciated. Our sales person was really laid back and much more of a low-key Bellingham guy. Ultimately, the terms offered were better at a different dealership, but we would look at Dewey Griffin again for future car needs

A little late here, and this was my first time buying a car with a loan, but we had an amazing time working with Kris at Dewey. We would like to think of it as red riding hood and the three bears. Went to one lot and the salesman was just way way to pushy, went to another and the salesman didn’t listen to our criteria we were looking for. When we called Kris, he had perfect composure. He listened to our needs and was not pushy at all, which made us feel more like humans rather than another number in the sales count. The company itself is very nice to work with from the salesman to the owners treating us so well! I can’t remember the name of the owners but him and his wife are so sweet!!! Plus, you get free car washes for life. definitely recommend Dewey Griffin when buying a car!

Class act car dealer. Our 2nd car purchase from Dewey. Vehicle quality on used cars, customer service, professionalism from sales staff and even the finance team is the best you can find. No pressure and no BS. I really feel like they not only care about me as a customer but they care about the cars they offer for sale and what happens after it’s yours.We went the next weekend to buy another car in a different brand and looked in two towns. Extremely disappointed and ultimately didn’t buy a vehicle because Dewey showed us what car buying should be like. I very much respect your effort to do what’s right and know the value of taking Care of people because you can. I work the same way and am often disappointed with my experiences in customer service. I am not with Dewey Griffin Subaru. Congratulations on doing it right.

Our 2012 Outback, 130k miles, blew a head gasket on a trip to Bellingham. Dewey's shop said it was a $7k repair. We traded it in on a new Forrester. Dewey said our Outback was worth zero because of the repair, but they'd give us $1500 on trade. They took advantage of us, we were in a bind. We have since learned it was a $2k repair. We see on their Google ratings they sold our Outback to Daniel de Lisle 4 months ago, guess it was worth more than zero. Buyer beware.

Had a great experience with Robert and the service department. A technician unfortunately broke a part on my car during a service, but Robert went above and beyond to get the issue fixed, even going so far as to send a loaner down to me in Seattle to pick my car up for service. When I initially noticed the broken part I was dreading the followups with a dealership so far away, but this experience was as good as I could have possibly hoped for. Would definitely recommend this dealership for service!

I went and ordered a brand new WRX STi through them.I placed the order with a sales person and did all the stuff and just had to wait for it which would be a month or two since I had ordered extra options and it would be coming straight from the factory.It was getting close to the time when it was supposed to be coming in but I hadn't heard anything.I started checking their inventory on their website.Lo and behold, my STi was listed on their inventory and they did photos of it at their lot and everything and it was listed for sale.I immediately called them and asked wth was going on.Apparently the sales person I was working with was no longer with them and they said I could come in and pick up my car.Do they not have any sort of oversight into what their sales people are working on? Were they really going to sell my car from under me and never even tell me that it showed up?Safe to say that I will not be working with them in the future.

I bought my Outback here last summer and i’ve had nothing but incredible experiences with everyone who works here. John Evan’s always goes above and beyond and is very personable. Today i ran over a couple of nails and had to get a tire repaired, came in as soon as I could but didn’t realize they were closing up the service station. They got me all taken care of and on my way in like 25 minutes. It made my stressful day so much better. I truly cannot recommend this place enough!

I ordered a car October 2021. The pandemic worked against us as very few cars were available. Because this is my first and only brand new car I was very picky concerning the color and style. I received a call at least once a month to let me know the status. Twice new cars came in that were close to what I wanted but I held firm. Randy, my contact, was on the ball looking for it. After all that she just showed up 4/6/2022, surprising everyone. On 4/7/2022 I brought her home. Everyone was very nice and made the purchase easy.
