We have received a call for 5 days in a row at 6:01 AM from a person who identifies themselves as "CVS". We will NEVER use their services because of this. Stop the calls.

I came to CVS after Walgreens had given me the runaround to the point where I was two days late on my medication.There was only one worker, Eric, and he heard me quite possibly at my worst. He dealt with me so professionally and managed to get my meds in same day, despite them being understaffed.When I got there, He was kind enough to have already applied a discount. I made it a bit difficult by asking him to rering everything under a goodrx card to see if it was any cheaper. He did so with a smile on his face.His service was quick, friendly, and caring. I'm excited to call this my pharmacy going forward.Whoever's in charge, get Eric a raise!

While I think the staff at CVS are sometimes overworked, they are helpful and kind. I switched insurance this year, and a medication I take was barely covered by the new insurance. It was going to be ~$800/month, which is insane. The staff helped me find a manufacturer coupon and got my copay to $0.

We have come from California last year.We were happy when we got all the medicines got transfered from CVSCalifornia to CVSBellingham to give us relief for our health maintenance.Now we have new care provider in PHMG and continue to get support services from CVS,BellisFair in Target.Hats off for their cooperation and coordination.Wishing them good luck for this service to the society.Thanks.

I can not depend on CVS, at least at this location to supply my meds. My meds were to be filled on 22nd today is 30th & still have one of my tier 3 meds not filled, totally unacceptable.I had to go to another pharmacy for an emergency supply to get me through. At one point when I asked why are we having such a problem filling my orders, I was told if I was unhappy maybe I should get my meds elsewhere. I am taking their advice, this will unfortunately be my last refill at CVS.( update), am now having my prescriptions filled at Costco.

My family had appointments scheduled for COVID shots 10/28/21. Got to the store and the pharmacy was closed. No notice ahead of time. Wasted an hour driving to town. Highly frustrating that they sent emails and texts to confirm the appointments and yet did NOTHING to let us know that the appointments were cancelled. Asked about it at Target customer service and was given $5 gift cards to try and make amends. No questions asked and they had the gift cards pre made with CVS’s customer service number attached & ready to distribute so this is obviously a big problem and frequent occurrence. Do NOT use this CVS because it will just be randomly closed and they won’t bother to contact you to let you know.

Made an appointment over a week ago for a booster shot. They waited until 1 hour before the appointment to let me know they were closed that day. Why was I able to schedule it in the first place if you're closed? Why did you wait until 1 hour before the appointment to tell me? After I took off work. This appointment cost me $45 in missed wages.

So, I was trying to switch my prescription from Fred Meyer on Bakerview since there’s no benefit to going there without the drive through (which is still closed due to understaffing). Then I read these reviews and decided that was a mistake and they are having even worse issues it sounds like, so I tried to transfer to Walgreens. My prescriptions had already been called in by my doctor though. Walgreens has not been able to get through to CVS for two days. I tried calling CVS at about 5PM. Google says they are open til 7:00pm mins you. First I checked the status of my prescription which the automated system said is “in the process of being filled”. It was called in over a week ago so that’s confusing. So I tried to talk to an actual person and was on hold until 6:15. At which point I called the main Target store to ask if they closed early, since previous reviewers stated they’d been on hold for ages only to find out they are closed and it doesn’t say that they are closed when you call and just puts you on hold forever. Sure enough they closed at 6:00. And will be closing at 6:00 tomorrow. 10:00-6:00 are there current hours. How frustrating! And I guess I will try to pick up my prescription in person tomorrow or something. I’m on day three of no meds, which is a problem! I know they are busy af in person due to Covid vaccines and understaffing so I was really trying to avoid that chaos plus exposing myself to the plague. Too late! Avoid the place if you can!

Don't waste your time using this pharmacy. My husband and I booked covid booster appointments a week out. Got confirmations every other day reminding us to print out the paperwork and arrive 10 mins prior to appointment. The day of the appointment we received an email saying it was cancelled 11/2 hours prior. Just go to Safeway on Sunset. We walked in, no appointment filled out one form and we're given our shot in about 15 minutes.

Absolutely disgusting and negligent. The pharmacist walked out and now I am unable to get my emergency medication. Insurance can’t reach them because they shut down without notice! Now all the pharmacies in town are overwhelmed and scrambling to keep up. This is hugely impacting people’s lives, and there needs to be some serious ACCOUNTABILITY! I can’t begin to express how disgusted I am with these people and CVS as a company. Every single one of them should have their licenses revoked.

Once in a while it happens that this reviewer encounters a business or service provider, the description of which brings about a shortage of superlatives. That is the case with CVS Pharmacy. This reviewer travels frequently from central California via a waystation in northern Washington. The CVS pharmacy handles dispensation of refills quickly and easily, staff personnel are fast, well-informed and highly professional. This reviewer is fortunate to have healthcare of which CVS is a part, and it is appreciated. Thanks, folks!

I have been going there for years with no issues but recently they are a complete disaster. The staff is clearly over worked and overwhelmed. They are so short staffed so they don’t answer the phone when they are open. Hours are reduced to 10am to 2pm mon-fri, but I showed up there three days in a row during business hours and they were closed. I was unable to get my prescriptions for over a week. I finally went there (after having to leave work early) when they were open and there was a hostile crowd forming a line to get their much needed prescriptions. The only way to get your prescriptions from being stuck at this pharmacy is to call the marysville location, have all scripts transferred to marysville, then have them transfer your meds to your new chosen pharmacy. It’s impossible to transfer straight from the Bellingham location to a new pharmacy because they do not answer the phone. Also getting your prescription mailed does not exist anymore, they are too backed up to do that. An absolute stressful and horrible experience the past few months.

Should have read the reviews before booking my Covid booster appointment. Waited in line for two hours (although I had a scheduled appointment) and listened to horror stories from others about the regular lack of service and how the pharmacy just closes at random. Only one pharmacist filling prescriptions, giving shots, and checking out customers. Unacceptable. Why even have a pharmacy here if there can’t provide decent service. Don’t waste your time. Go to Walgreens or another pharmacy.

The service here has gone down significantly recently. I have now been waiting for basic refills for over a week with no information, and I’m out of two medications. I’ve refilled one medication twice already for it to revert back to “available for refill” after a few days. The new hours aren’t clear at all, and they’re completely different than what is listed in the CVS app and on Google, which also don’t match each other. I have showed up several times now to find the pharmacy closed. And the hold times to actually speak with someone on the phone are too long.

Wow. We had to switch from Haggens to CVS because of our insurance. So disappointed.Rarely have medications been ready when we are there to pick up.There automatic call feature regarding a medication is a joke. They don’t give you any info, you are suppose to push a number to get the info. But pushing a number leads nowhere. Nothing happens. EVERY SINGLE TIME.Last time I called the refill in they said they would let me know by text when the medication is ready. It has been 4 days. Still nothing.They said they could not help me set up mail delivery over the phone. I dread having to deal with them.

2 stars only because the pharmacy staff that are showing up have done what they can with the limited staff and resources on hand. The pharmacy has been consistently under staffed and often shut down for 2 months now. I'd expect their upper management to have resolved this situation by now, instead, I ran into their district manager working the window herself a few weeks ago, and she was trashing her own folks for the issue. It was her responsibility! And still nothing has changed since then. I've been delayed on important medications several times now due to this, and I can't even imagine what it's like for those whose lives are strongly dependent on the medications they urgently need. A company like this absolutely must have fail safes in place for situations like this, and it's astounding to me that they don't. In an industry like this, we aren't just customers, we are PEOPLE whose lives strongly depend on consistency from pharmacy services.

I had an appointment today at 3pm for a Covid booster. When I went to the pharmacy it was closed. The Target store help said the pharmacy closed early. Another customer was upset, he needed his medication and wasn't able to get it. They cancelled my appointment via text 1 hour AFTER my scheduled appointment time. I won't be using this pharmacy ever.

If I could give -5 stars I would. Today was the second time I had an appointment booked for a COVID booster and confirmed through the website and the second time I showed up to a closed pharmacy. No warnings, no help from the customer service employees or the help hotline. I don't even know what else to say except that I wish I had read the reviews before trying to book a second time. I don't understand why they can't take their scheduling system down if they can't have staff to take peoples appointments. Do not waste your time here.

ZERO STARS. They do not even rate star for not even NOT GOOD. Why? Because they are closed without notice to any of their customers or concerns. How CVS could allow this to happen is beyond me, as a retail manager for years, this is inexcusable. This is not a retail but a Pharmacy where prescriptions are locked in through insurance companies. Even their customer service department is unaware and confused by saying well you can pick up your prescription here, the location they recommend is an hour away. The excuse was it was unexpected, really? How does that work, like a walkout? The curious thing is how could the District Manager or even CVS could allow such a thing to happen. This isn't a simple mistake this is LIVES BEING EFFECTED. These are Prescriptions being held with no way of customers being able to receive them. Let's think about that for a moment. CVS positioned itself a few years back by purchasing Aetna health insurance for $69 billion in 2018 to monopolize most insurance plans to earn more money. So what is happening? No expert, but this has the signs of a class-action suit and CVS will have to settle for their negligence of their customers well fare and being.

I wish you could take stars away from their previous ratings because 2.7 is way too high for this pharmacy. As many said before, the pharmacy just closed unexpectedly to its customers without any notice or even telling us after the fact that they were having issues. Now I have Insulin "on hold" behind the counter for almost a month now and I have no access to getting it because every time I call there is no answer and clearly they are never open when I go there! Some insurance companies only accept CVS as the pharmacy and switching to the next closest location would not help because their computers don't let you fill the same prescription at 2 seperate locations even if you didn't pick it up.. CVS customer service is just as useless! You have long wait times until you get to talk to someone and they have no clue what's going on with the Bellingham store! Cvs is planning on closing stores permanently though, so it may be a good option to look into switching and avoiding CVS if possible.

I am very pleased with CVS Pharmacy at Target in Bellingham. Jana is not only friendly and helpful, she is beautiful. I always enjoy seeing her. You need to hire more people like her if there are any more like her out there.

I'm glad I read the reviews before leaving for our booster shot appointments today! My boyfriend and I both had back to back appointments scheduled, and I called ahead to double check that they were even going to be open, and the Target customer service worker told me that they were not doing any immunizations today. Why were we even allowed to make the appointments if they're not available to do them? Why are they CONTINUING TO TAKE APPOINTMENTS when they clearly are not staffed to be able to do so?

This was a known issue from the end of September, spoke to a former employee after they gave notice and she said they made less then the target workers and that come mid October they weren’t going to have any staff . Cvs has no clue this store is being closed and support is unhelpful and clueless.Update Still withholding Medication after 3 weeks, Going to be calling the police shortly

This pharmacy is in complete disaray. They now make up hours on the fly and randomly close or fail to open on time or at all. This has been happening for about a month and a half. Several days there was only one person working and thats just unacceptable. The company has really failed Whatcom County (next closest store. Arlington) recently and will suggest to all to go somewhere else. Hours today 9-7pm actual hours 9-2pm!

If you saw a pregnant lady having a panic stuck in target this morning, it was probably me. Ive been coming to this pharmacy for 10 years now and I’ve always loved it, both Steve’s and all the techs are amazing. Whoever this new pharmacist lady is, is horrible. Terrible customer service right off the bat, rude and not helpful. Told me they sent back my prescription because it wasn’t picked up in time and there were no more refills, she wouldn’t give me a few pills to hold me over until my doctors appointment (like they’ve always done in the past) so now I’ll just be without meds for a week. THANKS. A week filled with horrible anxiety and depression, wonderful. No compassion or sympathy, it’s not like it’s a controlled substance where they need strict approval, it’s literally 10mg of celexa 🙄

Refused to give me my prescription because i was early picking it up. After arguing that i needed it right away i was told id have to wait 30 mins for my prescription to be filled (Ive never had to wait more than 15 mins at any other pharmacy). I had a question for the pharmasist because they had changed what brand of medicine i was getting and i had been having all sorts of wierd side effects since then and was told it was impossible for me to have new side effects because the meds were the same. Then after waiting around half an hour i went to pick up my prescription and the pharmasist said he hadnt filled it because he decided i didnt want my prescription since i had asked questions about it. I was then told id have to come back the next day because he had run out, which is a problem because i couldnt go back for it until after i needed to start taking it. I was so upset as i was leaving another target employee stopped to check on me because she was concerned. If litterally anyone else in my area took my insurance i would never go here again.

Booked a covid booster appointment in the morning, and they told me (and everyone else who had an appointment) that they had to come back in the afternoon. Why aren’t they notifying people with scheduled appointments ahead of time to tell them they can’t come in at their scheduled time? Folks are taking time off work to get vaccinated, and you’re turning them away. Completely unacceptable.
