I give two thumbs way up for Curly's Carpet Repair. Pablo (Curly) was punctual, walked the rooms with us, detailed his process, and gave us an estimate. He uses a power stretcher which is the ONLY way to get the job done properly. We had some severe ripples that I wasn't sure would disappear even with the power stretcher. But when Pablo was finished, our carpets looked brand new! He does amazingly good work. We thought he was worth every cent. He's personable and honest and has a great sense of humor. An easy person to have working in your house all day (he stretched 3 large rooms and a hallway). We recommend him to anyone in need of a carpet stretcher. Don't waste your money on those guys who user the kicker method.

Pablo does quality work. He repaired two areas of our carpet. He stretched a spot out so that our puppy couldn't paw at it quite as much; and reset carpet pad in an area that needed repair. Would recommend.

Pablo did a great job stretching carpet in a complicated hallway and bedrooms. He quoted me $2000 for 3 bedrooms, living room and hallway but charged me $2800 when he arrived. He did only 2 bedrooms, living room and complicated hallway. At the end he pointed out another area that needed work, but it was the end of the day and he had already packed his truck so really didn't want to fix that. Because I was having the carpet cleaned he did not vacuum up when he was done. He worked 7.5 hours. I did not know initially that he came from BC even though he advertises locally. He was very friendly, but I have reservations about the cost of the job -- over $350 an hour.

We had a bit of a complicated job with a wrinkly carpet and stairs, some patching and some new termination points. The job was bigger than expected and Pablo completed the job with professionalism, attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship. Additionally, we felt very comfortable with him in our home as he is quite personable. Carpet looks fabulous and I highly recommend him.

First, I was pleased with how quickly Pablo responded to my online inquiry. He called me within 30 minutes after I filled out the online request. Pablo reinstalled some of our carpet after we had to pull it back for a partial remodel. He was very friendly and did quality work very efficiently. The carpet looks better now than it did when we had to rip it up! He definitely knows what he is doing and was a joy to work with- would definitely recommend.

Pablo re-installed a piece of carpeting (including providing a new piece of padding) that had gotten soaked during the recent floods. There were some challenges re: levels of flooring/thresholds, etc. He figured it out, and the carpeting looks perfect. He was flexible re: timing of his service, kept me posted to coordinate, arrived on time, and completed everything in a timely manner. The price seemed reasonable, though I had nothing with which to compare it. I highly recommend him.

We were so happy to have some carpet in our home stretched! It was rumpled in one room and on the stairs going to our second floor. Pablo from Curly's Carpet Repair was professional, efficient, explained and showed us how and why he was proceeding in the best way! He's very experienced and has all the right tools! He communicated very well, right from letting us know his arrival time, to what the problems and our options were. Had Pablo come and stretch the carpet at my house, a large job with lots of odd shapes, stairs, closets etc. It was showing a lot of ripples as a result of poor original install. Pablo is a very skilled and professional carpet repair specialist. I hired him to stretch very loose carpet that was poorly installed by the original contractor in large areas of a home. It was imperative that the job be done quickly and professionally so that my client could list his home for sale. I had never heard of carpet stretching! What I had was a 17' by 3' 1/2' hallway with carpet <4 years old that was puckering at either end and a lot where stairs met the hallway. Pablo was responsive to my email and booked a visit to bid/work the next week. He arrived at a re-scheduled time, looked over the space, explained what carpet stretching was, what he could do, & while it might not be perfect he thought he could help it a lot. He worked through late afternoon/into the evening and finished in a single visit. He repaired some carpet stains too. 3 spots a profesionall cleaner couldn't address, cut out the stained sections, and replaced them with "donor" carpet from a closet.He hit nearly all the high notes. Hallway is smooth and stainfree + hall & donor closet are seamless; there's a step on the staircase that looks like it could use a haircut after the stretch (Didn't catch till the next day). At the late hour I can understand how that could have happened.Curly's carpet repair is not inexpensive. On balance I have 2 points: 1) I couldn't find another business or installer in Whatcom county to work this type of job & 2) if you're bugged by a carpet issue but not enough to sink 5-10k to replace all the flooring you should look into this, reach out to Pablo. I'd call him again if a job came up. He fixed my eyesore of a hallway.

Pablo was able to schedule a carpet repair for us on very short notice, following an accident by our cat. The repair turned out beautifully and once finished one would never be able to tell we had a section of our carpet replaced. Our carpet was worn and very wrinkly, and I didn't think anything could help it. But at the end of the day, it looks like new! Truly amazing transformation! This is the second time that I have benefited from Curly's Carpet Repair. I had him stretch our living room carpet before putting a previous house up for sale. I was really pleased with the results and the carpet looked like new again and I'm sure it helped us sell that house. Flash forward fifteen years and I remembered his name and service when I needed a carpet repair. Pablo came to my house and repaired a seam that had separated and looked terrible. He also fixed two holes (dogs!) and another frayed seam issue. I called Curly's carpet repair in the morning and with in 10 minutes I had a response that he would try to get to it the same day, but that he was busy and he would try and keep in touch. Later that day he called and said he could be over in an hour and showed up on time. I showed him the work that needed to done and needless to say I was very pleased with his work very professional. Pablo also likes to joke a little bit which makes him easy to talk to and deal with. I found him to be honest and would refer him to anybody needing any repairs to there carpet.Michael Sohn
