Our microwave was having issues, and we needed to have it replaced. Upon looking online to see what was the best microwave were out there for the price, we narrowed it down to Best Buys, who had them in stock.They have employee right at the front door to point out the direction that I needed to go to find the proper department, which is a nice touch.They had many microwaves in stock right on the shelves for customers to pick up. The one I chose was in the back store room and needed to be pulled out by forklift where it was stored. It took a while, and it appeared they needed to find someone to operate the lift. Maybe not a reason to give 4 stars, but if it was on the shelf, for a quick in and out, I would have given 5 stars. It appeared to be about a half hour wait.

The staff here are real people. I would like to publicly thank them for their help with a problem I had, due to unfortunate luck and circumstance . . .I cannot commend the store manager enough for the discretion he used in a tough situation-- though policy dictated a morally wrong action, he recognized the truth of the situation and made the right call. In my opinion, this is a simple, yet powerful example of the difference between organic decision-making and logic executed by code.All I can say is: when making a large purchase, make sure the serial number on the hardware matches the serial number on the box. Otherwise, your return will be declined. Most likely, this policy has been adopted recently due to scammers.I regret not noting the name of the store manager.

February 2024Geek squad technicians Mr. Price and Mr. Harrison earned our 5-Star review.From the start, they were excellent at listening to what we wanted, then made their informed suggestions, and ultimately made sure our three computers, and two phones worked great.As much as everyone relies on electronic devices, most might agree that things are wonderful when computers, phones and software work just fine, but when they don’t, the Geek Squad comes through with flying colors!I have trusted my computers with the Geek Squad for many years, and will continue because they have earned it.John

BE WARE. I used geek squad protection to replaceable phone, I sent the phone back and they still charged me for it. Ups lost the package. I have submitted the receipt that says I dropped it off. I can't file a claim with UPS since the lable was created by best buy. The store says I have to talk to Geek Squad, Geek SQUAD said I have to deal with the store. Several people said they would deal with it and I would get my money back within x days, still nothing. I have been dealing with this for 3 months now. I have switched to using Newegg for my electric needs.UPDATE: I files a claimed with the BBB and their headquarters contacted me that I would need to deal with UPS since they lost the device. When I tried to file a claim months ago UPS said that Best Buy has to file the claim since they created it.

As a retailer, Best Buy and their GEEK SQUAD is one of the BEST, unfortunately with the rampant theft in the area and blatant disregard for hard work and respect from the crack heads (and with this NO repercussions should you break the law), this location carries little inventory on the floor and you typically have to order the product through a salesperson on the floor and then wait for delivery a few days out. GOVERNMENT should do SOMETHING to STOP this from happening.....it's a unsafe environment for ALL concerned!

Absolutely no help. Looking for a cord the one person we found seemed super put out by having to answer a question. Once we found the cord we went to check out. We were made to stand in line at customer service as they didn't want to open a register. Accept when we finally got through the line they were cashing others out. One more reason why I will go other places in the future.

Amazingly disappointed in this store. For a massive “big box” you’d think they would be able to train their staff to a standard worthy of their products. If you can even find an employee here they avoid making eye contact with you so they don’t have to interact. I asked how much something cost and the kid had “no idea”. I will drive an hour south to the Apple Store simply because I will no longer support this store. 👎🏻

I'll be honest, I don't frequent Best Buy nearly as much as I used to and this trip really solidified that reasoning. The lack of knowledgeable staff or staff in general for that matter blows my mind. The checkout lines were closed and they were directing patrons to checkout at customer service. Talk about a bottleneck!

Bought a refurbished Xbox with controller. Set it all up, download a bunch of games and it at first it all seemed great. Next day the controller didn't work. Called our local Bellingham WA store and they said no problem just come in to our store and we will replace it, you do not need to bring the Xbox, just the controller.Our drive to the local store is 2 1/2 hours round trip, but it would have been worth it because the controller was quite expensive. Once we got to the store their story changed. Would not replace the controller, would only return Xbox. So frustrating, completely incompetent customer service. Wouldn't offer us any compensation. We are so done this company, never again. I strongly recommend you NEVER BUY ANYTHING from the company! They are rude and obviously untrained at their job. They wont honor their warranty . So now we are out $150. And a huge waste of our time.Thank you Best Buy Bellingham, you suck. Do better!

Downfall of this B&M store has started. I am pretty sure this company will go bankrupt very soon. Poor customer service and declining quality. How come an order was fulfilled with a wrong item. Where is the process to ship the right product and on top of it Bestbuy loots people with 15% repacking fee. Please stop online and save time and effort of buyers. Better to order from Amazon or Costco.

This place is awesome! I don't think I've ever seen such a massive selection of phones, tablets, fitness trackers, fridges, washers, dryers and everything!!And I was blown away at the computer section! It's hard to find a store that even sells desktop computers these days, but this place has a huge selection of not only desktops, but monitors of every size, even gaming mechanical keyboards, gaming laptops and at least 7 or 8 different kinds of computer microphones! It literally has everything you're going to want in electronics and more!

Worst experience of my life. I hardly give bad reviews to anyone. I recommended our office to buy three Effydesk chairs for our office (through best buy). We ordered them on September 6th and still didn’t receive our chairs as of today. I have called best buy 8 times and every time they tell me that it will be resolved in 2-3 days. I talked to Effydesk 2 times as well and they told me the same thing. Its such an embarrassing situation for me as I recommended them to order it fromBest Buy and now I have to go through all of this. It has been more than 2 months and I still don’t have my chairs.

The guy on the phone walked me through what I thought was placing an order in store pick up was actually for shipping. He told me to come to the store to pick it up, and when I went there they told me they can't do that. Now I have to wait for my order to come in. Whoever it was that answered the phone should lose their job.

They made me to drive to Burlington from Bellingham without checking the inventory in Burlington when I went there they said no stock of the product we are looking for. Came back to Bellingham after 4 hours now they said 2 of them are available .What a waste of time

Nightmare trying to actually get answers when appliance delivery was a no show. No updates on app. Customer service number is a joke!. All of them read off a script and have no power to answer ANYTHING other than " you have to wait for the system to update", over and over. You are supposed to wait 48 hrs! We ultimately had to drive over an hour away to get answers, and our issue resolved , at a store where the manager actually cared! This was after about 6 hrs on the phone, and in chats, and dealing with another store manager who said, " if you're unhappy, cancel your order". We will NEVER do business with Best( Worst) Buy again.

Got this awesome tv yesterday, unfortunately the staff did not pack up all the materials. Have been trying for 24-hours to get the correct plug in for the power. The first time we drove back admittedly, they were closing and had just rolled down the doors. The second time they gave us a plug that was not correct Poor service and they give you a business card but the store isn't taking phone calls. I've driven there 3 times now. If it weren't for them being a national brand I don't know that this location would be in business. Probably best to order online and have it shipped.
