Thank you Nicolas for helping me find the appropriate shoe for my body mechanics and feet. I am a beginner to running but after having a certain new balance pair for about 2 1/2 months, my pain after the runs has increased more and more. I figured it was the shoes. I'm excited to come back when I have the $ to purchase the shoes I decided will work best for me! If you come for a fitting service (which btw, there is a fitting service fee of $15) and decide you're not yet ready to purchase the shoe(s), they will note them down in your file! Whenever you do come next to purchase, you can just tell the front desk your name and they'll look you up to see which shoes you wanted to buy. My dog Duke loved being part of the process!(:

Shopping here was a wonderful experience! David was extremely friendly and helpful when it came to buying my first pair of high-quality workout shoes. I learned a lot about shoe fitting and how to choose the right shoes for my level of activity! I will absolutely be returning to BBay Running for any future active footwear needs. :)

Got fitted for a new pair of running shoes and had an excellent experience and service from Nicholas! He helped answer all questions and provided excellent feedback throughout the process. If you’re at all in need of new shoes of any kind, I’d give them a stop-in and check out the selection. They have shoes for all activities, and are worth it.

Nicholas was a great help when I brought my 11 year old daughter in to find running shoes for a program with the YMCA. He was knowledgeable, patient, kind and supportive. He told interesting stories and also gave us space to consider what was the right fit. We will be back to BBAY Runners and recommend to others as well.

Nicholas is a pro! He got me fitted up into a pair of shoes that fit all of my needs. I was shopping online and at big box stores in town and wasn’t getting anywhere with my purchase. He factored in my level of experience, desired fit, trail conditions, goals, and current injuries. He was able to find me a pair of shoes that felt like they were custom made just for me. Very happy with the level of service and attention I received from the BBay staff. They take care to measure feet and really work to find the best shoe with the best fit for your needs. After sending an email to inquire about a certain type of shoe, they researched many options and made several suggestions based on what I was looking for. When I came to the store, the staff were all expecting me and brought out shoes that they'd selected with me in mind.I was so pleased with how much time and attention they took during the fitting, checking my stance and measurements. It was clear that my satisfaction was much more important than rushing or making a sale.This level of excellent customer service is a rare gem. I highly recommend, and will definitely return for shoes, inserts and sporting goods.

Trying to get back into running again after a 10 year layoff. Stopped bbay running to get fitted for new shoes. My feet have change a lot , fore has spread out a lot. Friendly, knowlegable staff who didn't try to upsell me but rather saved me money by telling me my shoes were still in great condition and making alternate recommendations to ease foot and shin discomfort. She took her time and answered every question I had. This store has just made a customer for life. We will be back to buy our next Hokas when the time comes.

David was knowledgeable, thorough, patient, and informative about an injury I have been dealing with and proper support measures to get me back up and moving. Plantar facitis was making it difficult to even walk and by the end of the day with properly fitted shoes and in soles, the calf cramping was gone and I had a plan for recovery. Time with him was better than all the PT appointments I’ve been to in the last month. I’m grateful and enthusiastically recommend David and his shop.

I will definitely be coming back!I came in looking for new running shoes and Franny treated me like royalty. She was super friendly, knowledgeable, and beyond helpful. I told her what I wanted, she gave me a few options, and I walked out with an amazing pair of shoes.If you want an easy buying experience, ask for Franny. She truly deserves a raise. I barely had to lift a finger while trying on shoes. The shoes I bought were just under $150 which seems pricey but the experience made it more than worth it. Thank you Franny!
