May 2nd 9:30 pm. I was trying to buy a case of mango for $12.99. Self cashier showed error when i scanned barcode. Asian manager came in and stated that $12.99 is not a price. They only sell mango for each not a case. He said each price is $2.99. He treated me like I saw the wrong price without checking. That ticked me off that i took a photo and showed it to him. He looked at it tells me it is still price of each not the case and just left treating me like an obnoxious customer. I didn’t know why this was bugging me. When I came home, i looked at the photo and thought about it. I was just really disturbed by the how manger was reacting. I was right that case of mango was written as 12.99 whether it was error or not. He looked at it and treated me like daily bad customer and did not explained why it was written like this and just tells me i am wrong and walked away. That really made me upset. May be I am the bad customer who pissed off at some random weird things. However, I think anybody will be upset if someone tell you that you are wrong without explanation and walk away even with clear evidence.

I would call this location of this popular Western United States chain adequate. There are no special products here, just the bare minimum expected at a grocery store. This is odd due to the affluent customers living in Bellevue. FOLLOW ME for more thoughtful recommendations as I travel the world 🌎

When one thinks Calgary, one thinks beef and yet here we are getting exceptional fish, Japanese style with a little Korean style too. How good? Let's just say that when I'm in town it's a must on my list. Amazingly friendly, great vibe on not the nicest of places but who cares. Great food, priced right.

What kind of store doesn't have customer service? The assistant at self check called for "Reza" after we had waited 5 min and he screamed out "closed" from the closed door. And that was it. No customer service. Thanks to Gina for being proactive and asking us to come over to her till where she helped us.

My daughter went into this store with candy bought from qfc . (I got it for her) it was promptly taken by a man she did not know. She had the receipt on her but was not asked for it before it was taken. She had to be at work so she just left. Without the candy I paid for her to have. This is not legal.

I stopped by the downtown Bellevue, WA Safeway to get a bite to eat from the deli on a break at 5:10pm. There were several people working in the deli yet none of them chose to help me. I waited several minutes for someone, even saw one help someone else that walked up after me at the other end of the hot case. I thought the employee that helped the other person would help me next but they just turned around and went back to their other work. Several employees, both from the deli and not, walked by me without asking if I needed anything, even what I think may have been a deli manager or supervisor of some kind. I was in a hurry and very hungry but had to walk away with nothing since I had to go back to work. I spent 17 years as a journeyman meat cutter and I worked for Safeway for many of those years and it was a big problem if you ever walked by a customer and didn't offer help in some way no matter what department you worked in.

What a huge Safeway.. convenient to Westin. Sticks almost everything and the wine section is fantastic!! Service was great and the staff gave me a Safeway card to enjoy the discounts!! Enjoyed my time there!! And bought the wine and fruits!

No consideration to families/ pregnant women and kids … a pregnant woman approached the customer service to complain about rude staff behaviour instead of being understanding they did not support her, I was there standing and was surprised with such low level customer service support

Great selection of products including all you could think of in organic varieties. They also sell flowers and plants and there is a nice bakery and a Starbucks and also a great pharmacy inside. Well positioned next to the Bellevue mall you can find anything here. They have an amazing selection of wines from all over the world too!

Busy place. I got what I needed. Interesting though that some items here are more expensive than in fairbanks alaska, and some are less expensive. Notice the chips are 8oz at $4.00, that bag seems small compared to what I normally buy. Might be less packing.Thanks

Safeway in Blackhawk is my go to for everything for 26 years. Nice people and clean facilities even with change of ownership it’s been fine. The new loom and reorganized isle work well.

The location is great and food is okay. But I would like to bring to the attention the behavior of one of your female Chinese cashiers, who displayed an exceptionally rude and unfriendly attitude towards me during my and my family visit for many times. She seemed visibly annoyed by my/my family presence and very inpatient. I suggest that cashier be provided with appropriate customer service training to develop the necessary skills and attitude required to serve customers effectively.

FLOWER SECTION: I am having infertility issues and my mom all the way in another state wanted to buy me a bouquet of flowers as a kind gesture and surprise me. She ordered a bunch of flowers that showed 12 roses online with greens and lily’s. While what I got was beautiful, mine only had 5 flowers and it was half the size than what was shown in the photo. My mom messaged Safeway to get her payment adjusted since she didn’t get what she paid for and they rejected the request! Terrible that Safeway flower people can’t get it right and are ripping people off during a time when im going through a very horrible sad time. Shame on you Safeway!!!!!!!

I used to shop regularly at this store, but I'll save time and money by going out of my way to a store that cares more about their customers.While checking out at the counter, the clerk ignored that I bought my own bags, then finally noticed after already bagging one. After getting home I looked to see on my receipt that I was charged for 10 bags (though I only had 4 bags total of groceries).The manager's special 30% off coupon was completely ignored on the steak I purchased. That would have saved me quite a bit.The Just4U coupon for some eggs I couldn't pull up was brushed off as a problem with my phone or account and wouldn't honor it. That could have saved me another $1.50.All-in-all, about $8 overpayment on a $80 order which isn't the end of the world but the apathy towards customer satisfaction just shows they have some areas of improvement to shoot for before I can shop here again.

Well stocked, clean inside and out, convenient location. Sometimes cart returns are packed and/or few to no carts inside, even in the morning when the store is not busy. Usually shop there early Sunday morning, so the store may be busier at other times.

I visited this store a few days ago about an hour and half before closing. I don’t mind waiting in line, sometimes the clerk who is in charge of self check out take too much control over the guest’s experience but doesn’t know how to keep things moving fluidly which may make for an uncomfortable experience The self checker clerk had the line waiting for available self check registers down the aisle which kept the line including the front of the line kinda hidden, when I walked up it wasn’t obvious there was a line. I stood there for just a moment, the clerk let me know there was a line by letting me know I was cutting in line. I walked to the back of the line, I waited. I didn’t have to wait long. When I was the next person in line I walked up to be closer to the self check out registers, one because I was next and two because then the next customers would see the line and not make the same mistake I did which led to being accused of cutting in line. The clerk saw me soon after I walked up waiting for the next register. The clerk accused me of cutting in line, even after the guests behind me said I didn’t cut the clerk didn’t seem to believe me. Another clerk walked up, I think he saw I wasn’t having s comfortable situation and he took me to a real register and kindly rung up my ice cream. Also, having to buy 2 or 3 of something to save money is a terrible way of doing business. 5 stars to all the people in your store who know what they are doing.

Do shop here if you like cheap but expired food! I buy lots of stuff here because of the convenience, and often go home to find that they are expired. Gave a friendly tip to the manager once but returned to keep finding expired products... oh well, atleast they open late and are cheap with the Safeway club card. Staff are also friendly most of the time, and they have a large selection of items.

This downtown Bellevue, WA Safeway is a good store. It isn't a super store due to size limitations but is very convenient. One sad fact about the store as of this writing, per an employee, is that they are "down" to only four of the small rolling carts, which are well-sized for the store's size. The reason provided is that people continue to steal them, and (obviously) never return them. I saw this in a California CVS store which longer offered baskets for same reason. People just wander the store holding their purchase items in each hand. As for Safeway, they could invest in better controls. Otherwise, a good store with decent produce, wine, bread, cheese, snacks and pharmacy.

I'm typing this as I stand in a line stretching back to the spice aisle. All of the self-checkout lanes are down, and they have the deli clerk running the ONLY till. She has to run back and forth between the cigarette counter.If this was a one off thing I'd be more hesitant to write this, but this is not the first time I've had this happen.If theres anyone else reading this and need to shop late night, go to the QFC three blocks north. At least they have people.

Best Safeway in Bellevue! Open late. I often shop here at 10:00 PM after work and am always happy to find some fresh meals and sandwiches still available.
