Returned a gift that I got for my birthday. Had the original receipt and they were still hesitant on making the return. There is no need to be rude if I have the original receipt and the item still has all original tags attached. This is why I shop and Nordstrom.

I called this store on a whim trying to purchase a specific item that wasn't available locally or online. The ladies who helped me were top notch. They all went absolutely above and beyond to get this super cute dress to me in Detroit. Thank you all *so* much, I truly appreciate everyone's effort since there was some training involved. You all really made my day.

I love going to Macys! It’s literally my go to store when I’m bored. Collection is amazing with so much variety and decent prices and deals going on. Additionally the credit card discounts helps. Also, the returns are easy.

The dressing rooms need to be fixed. They don't have locks and both genders use them together. People kept opening doors to rooms without even knocking while people were undressing with both genders waiting outside. This was in the lingerie section, too. There was also a big gap for all to see in the dressing room i used. It's creepy and uncomfortable. The place is messy and the staff don't care but I can't blame them either. It's the holiday season and I'm sure they're tired. Management must be terrible here. I did find 1 helpful worker while I was there.

Reviewing as a Macy's associate currently at another location. I regularly try sending customers to Bellevue when we don't have what they want in stock. I have even tried calling myself. They never answer. I don't know if this is a staffing issue or a general customer service problem, but considering where they are located, I will not give them higher stars if they don't start answering their phones.

I ordered Cookware Set online at Macy's website on Black Friday. Within 30 minutes I tried to contact customer service online to change my email address. It took me multiple times and waiting for a few hours before I can connect to their online customer service officer. However, for twice, the issue was not resolved before the customer service office went offline. I attempted to contact them early next morning but was told that nothing can be changed 30 minutes after the order was made! The customer service officer was not helpful nor kind at all.I am not requesting for changing items or shipment address. I am asking to change the incorrect email address so that I will receive confirmation of the order. She simply repeated that nothing can be done at their side.As a customer, It's way better to work with other sellers and platforms, who cares about customer experience.This is my first time and will be my last time dealing with Macy's.

I would give zero stars if I could. Every time I come here, there are not enough associates, leading to long lines and insane wait times.I don’t know how the customer service staff and cashiers are trained here, but whatever the case, they are adamant to not give a refund as often as possible. Took over 30 minutes of back-and-forth in order to return a pair of pants that were defective in the first place. No one can agree on what the policies are. Manager came in and fixed it in less than 3 minutes. Kudos to her.I wish this place would go bankrupt already. Fill Bellevue Square up with better stores please.

I am very upset, yesterday I went with my family to look for some pants for my son, the app said that they did have them and when we arrived they were not available. That wasn't the bad thing, when we left the store the alarm sound, at the same time other people were leaving, but only an employee came back to us (It could be because we are Latinos) to check that it wasn't us, we went back to the bar security and it didn't sound, obviously the other people who passed by at the same time as us had something that activated the alarm. Something like this has never happened to me, I never go back to Macy's. It was embarrassing because some people were looking at us and the person at the counter nearby was laughing. How do I explain this to my children? I'll just tell them don't go back to places where they identify you by your skin color.

The salespeople were rude and not helpful. The store appeared unorganized; sloppy. I usually love Macy's but not THIS Macy's. I recently moved yo Bellevue, so this was my first...and last time at THIS Macy's. If this is the only Macy's in the area, then I'll be shopping at a different store. It'd be nice, when you're spending a few hundred dollars, that the person would smile and be friendly! You shouldn't feel like you're begging them to take your money. Macy's, to me, was always a nicer store, with nice items. I felt like I was in a Walmart with more rude salespeople.

Cool store with many famous brands. In addition, Macy's has a separate entrance from the street and occupies 3 floors in Bellevue Square.

Over priced and customer service needs a lot training. Went to return several items and one of those items was refunded at a lower price than what I paid for. Cashier did not want to correct and was given me a bunch of excuse why it is the way it is. Of them being "you must have purchased the same item item several months ago". In which a replied "No, the item on the receipt matches the item I'm return so it should be the same amount". She then gave me another excuse "it must be bag a fee charge and Macy's reward thing". In which I replied; "wouldn't those be separate line items?". All I heard was excuse but no offer to correct. After more investigating, the system was refunding the amount based on an item, I purchased over a year ago and not my receipt. Manager finally came over to correct it. What a mess!

I’ve spent hundreds of dollars here I came this morning so break change for 100 the lady at the return service area this morning gave me a look of disrespect and told me that she doesn’t have change one of the other associates. Jason was still able to help me, and he opened her register and realized that she did have change for 100 just because I was dressed that morning a little differently than I do doesn’t mean that she gets to treat me like a hoodlum. Thank you Jason for your kindness that person should not be working there.

Being a customer for 30 years, I have trusted Macys but I'm disappointed now. A Merchandise Certificate received from a return which shows would not expire is not working. Called Customer Service tons of times, been to the store two times then I was told to send an email to Customer Service. Emailed two times but received responses saying that given email address is an invalid email address. Called Customer Service again being told the certificate was good for only two years vs what the original certificate said (never expire). Requested for elevation to supervisor, being put on hold for 1 hour 15 minutes, when the supervisor was finally connected, she told me she could not hear me and hung up. Is Macys using this way to steal customer's money?

Very helpful and engaged sales associates. They took the time to to help my find what I needed and made checkout smooth and easy. The Sales associates at the Ralf Lauren counter were exceptionally helpful. Great selection and in-store stock. The other departments can learn some lessons from the ladies in the Ralf Lauren section! Thank you, Ladies; special thanks to the gorgeous Ukrainian lady that helped me in trying to track down my left behind shoes. Above and beyond! Thank you!

One of your standard Macy's, but there is nothing wrong with that. The only odd thing with this Macy's is that they have a separate home area (on the other side of the mall) that I haven't seen at other Macy's locations. However, this extra space allows for a much larger selection if clothing and cosmetics, so nothing is lost by separating the two out.The staff here is also quite cheery and helpful. Very nice and helpful Macy's location.

Due to Covid, Macy’s isn’t the same. There were fewer sales people & lack of merchandise in various sizes. Luckily I found a few items in the ā€˜Last Act’ section which is the final price section where there are no returns or exchanges. Essentially sold ā€˜as is’ & the women’s selection was pretty big. Most sizes were a petite or extra, extra large. The same goes for the women’s shoe department. There were bargains galore!Slimmer pickings in the housewares and bedding department.This is the place if you’re bargain shopping.

Remember when Macy's was kind of a nice place...this was at opening. Like no customers were in here making messes. And no employees were in here cleaning. I get the short staffed thing but gosh. They opened the doors like 10 minutes late and then we got in and the place was trashed. Wow. I get when it's the middle of the day and a bunch of rude adults don't know how to act in public and think it's okay to throw stuff on the ground...but it was literally the first moment of opening.The staff that was present, were very polite etc...

When my girlfriend asked if I wanted to go to Macy’sin early December, I said, ā€œNo way!ā€ I don’t enjoy going to downtown areas, malls or big department stores. I especially don’t like those things right before Christmas. ā€œIt’ll be ok,ā€ my girlfriend insisted. ā€œWe’ll go first thing before the crowds get too bad.ā€ She had some things to return and some makeup to buy. When the subject turned from if we should go to whether to go to Alderwood or Bellevue, I knew I was doomed.We picked Bellevue since we knew it better and got in the car. It was a beautiful day, the kind that made me think what a shame it was to be inside. It took most of the drive for me to reconcile myself to my fate.It turned out that getting there at 10am was a good idea. We found a parking spot in the garage right by the entrance to Macy’s. In a couple of hours, that would not be possible. We were also ahead of the crowds in the store. Unfortunately, we were also ahead of the staff. Our frist stop was the makeup counter. My girlfriend knew exactly what she wanted, so all we needed was someone to unlock the drawer where they hid the stock. After a bit of a search around neighboring departments, we found a young woman with the right keys. She was unfamiliar with what draw was what, so we tried them all before finding the right product in the right color. Paying required avoiding all the merchant tactics to get us to sign up for things and give over personal information. It took the girl a couple of tries to get the system to work right. The woman seemed to not care that the procedure was wasting our time. As soon as we were done, she disappeared and we moved on to the returns counter upstairs.Here we were met by another obstacle. ā€œGive your order!ā€ demanded the severe woman working the counter. We tried several different ways of asking what that meant before realizing that there might be an order number associated with the item we wanted to return. It was more of an ordeal than it should have been to find out that we could use my girlfriend’s Macy’s card to come up with the information. Between the three of us, we knew 6 languages - none of them in common.There were gift cards on a stand at the counter that my girlfriend thought would make good stocking stuffers.. A long line was forming behind us, but how long could it take to buy a gift card? Apparently long enough to motivate some of the people in line to leave and one to interrupt us to get directions to where she could buy socks. Let me tell you, I was glad to get that ordeal behind us.We shopped a bit for a pair of pants that my girlfriend could wear to work. She had some very specific requirements that were hard to meet. After looking at every stitch of women's clothing, we gave up and went to lunch.By the time we left the mall, it was packed with people. I can tell you that I was never so glad to be out of a place.

This was the most disgusting shopping experience I’ve ever had at a Macys. The clothes are in piles on the floor and most are damaged as a result. Didn’t see a single employee working to straighten out the massive mess. Half the dressing rooms are just piles of clothes getting ruined.

Every department had items ALL over the floors! The staff were doing nothing but standing around, and giving customers dirty looks. I get a better experience shopping at Goodwill or any other store. No one goes to purchase anything just to be judged, unable to find items, and to buy something that has been all over the floor.

I was shocked going in here. This location is in one of the nicest malls in the area. The customer service is awful, and the place was a mess. When I asked for help in the department right next to where two staff were, they said the person for that department didn't show up.. so I asked if they would help. They literally told me no, they were too busy in their section. This was said to me while they sat on boxes behind the register. There were clothes on the floor, I mean a lot of clothes, hangers everywhere. I've literally never witnessed a store in this condition. The theft must be insane here. After this experience, I don't question why Macy's are closing across the country. I was apolled

Item was marked as 10Ā¢ and I asked to confirm at the register if it was really 10Ā¢. They confirmed I could buy it at that price. Went to look at some other stuff and when I got back to the register someone else was there. The new person wouldn't sell it to me.This was on top of selling me an item stained on the back (didn't notice until I got home) and not taking a return on it because it was damaged.

Very over priced. Limited staff. Long waits to get help even when it's not busy. We were behind one customer to pay for some items and it was taking so long we went to the other check out on the other side who had one customer and that was taking forever too. Like whatever each of these people wanted the cashier was having a difficult time helping them with for some reason.After half an hour of waiting and seeing we could buy the exact same items on Amazon for a quarter of the cost, we ended up putting our things back and leaving.
