Our company has been a loyal patron of Fran's, and I can't praise the Bellevue team (Samantha, Yuri, Rebecca, and Ricardo) enough for going above and beyond to ensure a seamless ordering and pickup process every time.Our staple orders include the Gray & Smoked Salt Caramels and Fran's Assortments, and they're the perfect gift for out-of-towners, international friends, parents-in-law, and essentially anyone – even those who aren't a fan of sweets.This team truly embody the spirit of a neighborhood shop – a place where you can drop by to say hello and snag a yummy sample of at any time of the day. They provide services differently by I don’t know what standards.They used to be like the other frans: Provide the tryout when you purchase, provide one black chocolate with drinking chocolate. But they do it now by giving different people different treatment. I had several time with purchase, they didn’t give me tryout, and no black chocolate with drinking chocolate.Today, the white family before me with a purchase,they got chocolate tryout and got the chances to choose for each of them(about four or five people). The staff there said to them “We have this and we have that, please, help yourself”, with a smile.Me and my boyfriend were the next couple, with all two staff sticked to that family, they did not say anything, even a warm welcome note, to us, while we waited there without any instructions or a small apology for the waiting.And of course, after our purchase, just “please wait here”. The staff just started going back grab a new boxes of pecan caramel chocolate and counting chocolate while we were waiting. no tryouts, no friendly chatting, no black chocolate with drinking chocolate again.Disappointing to different treatment to different people with purchases, and different from other Fran’s.

Every year I make a trip to Seattle and seek out one of the Fran’s locations. Their caramel sauce is one of the BEST I have found and I always make an effort to bring it back home with me if I have a checked bag. If not, their sea salt caramels are a must along with their chocolate bars. Making an in-store visit is great because they always have a sample of something for you to try which makes the experience that much more enjoyable. I’ll keep coming back to Fran’s every time I’m back!

The quality and taste of this shop's chocolate is great 👍 I used this shop to present chocolate gift for my wife. The Manager kindly helped me to find the combination of chocolates. A customer of mine ended up giving me Fran's Chocolates as a Christmas gift and I fell IN LOVE! I'm not even a big chocolate fan but I enjoyed every last bite, I even ended up getting a few boxes for stocking stuffers. Truly quality chocolates.

The people working here are so nice! And the chocolates and caramels are the friggen best.I got some Mothers Day chocolates and a couple port wines for Moms Aunts and Grandmas out of town.Since I was flying the next morning, they packaged it all appropriately for travel and even gave me a free coffee truffle to have for the morning flight I wasn't dressed well because of chaotic travel prepping, but they still treated me so well. This location and the Seattle location have great service.

I've been ordering their chocolates online for a few years now, but I've never been into one of their stores until now. We were in the area today and decided to swing in. The employees were so nice. They provided sample chocolates as well. Fran's chocolates are really the best chocolates you'll find, and after seeing how gracious their employees are, I like them even more.

It was my 1st visit to Fran's and Adrianna at the store was so helpful and warm. She helped me pick a delicious little box of treats for myself and a gift box for a friend. The chocolates melt in your mouth so definitely worth a visit.

The store serves a wide variety of chocolate-focused treats, from truffles to specialty items. I'm particularly fond of their seasonal double chocolate figs, filled with a rich chocolate ganache and dipped in chocolate. They have plenty of hand sanitizer stations and tape keeping customers well back from the candies on display, as well as the sales staff. Where normally they offer free samples to visitors, they now package a few bonus truffles with orders for people to enjoy outside.

This place is absolutely enchanting. The staff are so very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt like a million dollars being waited on. And the chocolate is entirely delicious! Melt in your mouth high quality goodness. I highly highly recommend anyone who loves chocoalte to stop by!!

The best chocolate in Seattle. Fran's is a local chain. Everything is made fresh in house. Lots of choices. Great for any time but I tend to get these for my wife for Valentine's, birthdays and Easter.There is no parking. You have to find street parking which is very sparse. Doesn't matter thou as the chocolates are more than worth it.Save money and buy a box. You can pick the pieces you like. But would recommend that salted caramel!!!

This is a little slice of chocolate paradise in old town Bellevue. If you're not certain what you'd like to take home the staff is happy to give you a sample. Not only can you buy pre-picked truffles but you can put together your own little box of goodness. Franz chocolates are a known name for a reason and you'll definitely get your money's worth on the delicate flavors that come with their chocolates.

The chocolates are amazing. You can find them at grocery/chain stores, but they taste (because they are) much fresher when you buy them directly from the shop. They NEVER go on sale. Ever. Really!? Really. They do offer corporate discounts for large orders though (think holiday gifts).

I was given a box of 6 chocolates - 4 were dark chocolate, 2 were milk (including a caramel of each). The milk chocolate was a tad sweet, and the dark chocolate was very flavorful and strong, delicious. The chocolates were wrapped up nicely as well, and I enjoyed them!

Classy, beautiful, clean and modern storefront. Many selections of local chocolates behind the glass covered counter, and samples served by cheery staff. Fran's is ever a local favorite! Oh, and the dark chocolate salted caramels are to die for!!

Was introduced to Fran's Chocolates by my colleague, a Seattle native, who raves about them! She also mentioned that their salted caramel chocolates are Obama's favorites. Random, I know.Brought back a box of chocolates for my wife after a business trip and she loved them. Dropped by the Bellevue location on another trip to pick up another box. Friendly service, they always offer a sample chocolate when you enter. Prices are a bit high (around $2 per piece) but worth it if you want to spoil someone every once in a while!

I have ordered Frans Chocolates twice for my brother who.lives in Bellevue. The staff are super helpful, friendly and efficient, and apparently the chocolates are yummy as well, though I've not had them. I would recommend this business.

I find it hard to believe I am only the 10th reviewer...Fran's is awesome. Definitely worth the 'investment' if your purchasing for Vday or other special occasion. Highly recommend skipping the usual Whole Foods fare and picking up a short shelf life coconut gold bar or fig directly from the source. If you're already at the Godiva/similar price point put in the extra few dollars to get the real thing and support local business.

Three words: Smoked salt caramels. These things are awesome. I just wish they weren't so expensive, but the odds are that you know someone who's worth it. If not, get some anyway and share them; it's a sure-fire way to make a friend. The staff here will give you a free sample if you're not convinced, always take advantage of it.
