Ruby doesn’t like bath time 😂 so until she realize she isn’t get out of it she accepts her fate and goes into the tub.But I’m running low on shampoo.This place was very sweet to my dear Ruby. Just did a bath and blow out with a nail trim and carding right before my birthday on Friday :)!I’m told she was super sweet as she should be! They took very good care of her. Her coat was next level soft! With a hint of banana or vanilla smell :)Ruby is about medium size dog so about $55 dollars. Certain breeds can change the price too because of fur type.

A year ago, I heard about Der Pet Haus from customers at a pet store who had their wonderfully groomed dogs there and I asked where they got them groomed. We moved from the Maryland/DC area and needed a groomer. So I made a trip to check it out, since I’d only used mobile grooming services prior. Jena, the woman who works the front desk, was super friendly and helpful. She got us scheduled and told us about the fast groom option so they wouldn’t have to stay all day.I’ve been very happy with the services - also bringing my other dogs in for walk in nail trims had been great too. My dogs get excited when we arrive and they can’t wait to go inside, a good clue in that my dogs feel safe and cared for by everyone at Der Pet Haus.It’s been a great business to work with and a happy change from some not so great or unreliable services in the Maryland/DC area where we moved from. Happy that Jena still kindly guides me too when I ask for local recommendations or taking on doing my dogs’ walk in nail trims. I very much appreciate her!Der Pet Haus is a true gem.

LOVE this company and its awesome groomers. You can tell they really care about the animals they work with and I feel the price is on point for standard Bellevue prices, $108 for 2 hour express.

We have been using Der Pet Haus for our dog’s grooming needs for the last 2 years now and we love it here. Our dog - a hyperactive Pomeranian, always comes back smelling and looking great with a super soft coat. Thanks to the team( ~ Vivian) for a great service every single time.

Just another yet 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Always good time to come hungryGrab a bratwurst 🌭, condiments, have a glass of of wine/beer/hot cider🍺They have heated covered seats/tables as well as some fireplaces in some of the tablesThere was no line however even when there is, it goes pretty quick and/or worth the wait.

I am so so happy to have this place near my house. I have a small german sheperd/chihuahua mix that hates getting her nails cut. I have gone to other groomers who've had no luck getting her still enough to cut her nails and have had to give her back with uncut nails and an apology.But Der Pet Haus did an amzing job! I finally got her nails trimmed properly!

Never coming back here again. Somehow in the process of a regular grooming, they seem to have scarred and damaged my Samoyed’s nose with two markings (see picture).What’s worse is that they tried to overcharge me (they charged $95 until I asked why it was so expensive, and then they brought it down to $80). I’m not sure what’s going on back there but it scares me that they could let this kind of thing happen AND overcharge me AND try to be sneaky about everything.

After we picked our dog up, we found that they had cut our dog's nail quick . They didnt tell us anything about this during pick up but just said "She did great".When we found out later in the car, I called them about that. The guy responded: "This is normal and happens ***all the time*** because the dogs move and you can't necessarily see the quick" he also said "if the dog is not currently bleeding in your car, then it's ok.".***I am not exaggerating even a bit here. He said those sentences word by word.***If you do not want to see your dog hurt, do not use this place.

Love that they do walk-in nail trimming from 9AM-5PM!It comes in so handy, especially when working from home as someone who has meetings randomly interspersed throughout the day Service has always been fast and friendly and the store gives me a local community vibe which I love I always meet the nicest fellow pet parents there who exchange reassuring experiences or funny stories!We’re usually in and out in under 10 minutes, honestly even 5, so I don’t have to leave the store to randomly wander.Ambiance is what you’d expect of a groomers, sad dogs and happy dogs all around.Pricing wise, it’s $20 for a nail trim, an extra $5 for a paw shave, and I’ll tip 20%/$5 for a total of $30. My corgi has never let me trim his nails without a fight, despite every form of socialization and treats out there, so I’d rather spend the $30 and get things done as quick as possible for my sake and his!I’ve witnessed minor accidents like cuts happen before, which is normal with anxious animals, but the staff are always quick to address the issue, treat the animal, inform the owner, and let them know that should the pet need medical attention that they’ll foot the bill. Love seeing companies own up to their mistakes rather than hide it or gaslight customers👏🏻Pros:• they do walk in nail trimming 9AM-5PM!• best pricing I’ve found in the area so far ($20 for trimming, $5 for paw shaving)• plenty of parking spots• great location by a number of eateries and a Walmart should you want/need to grab something real quick or spend your time waiting elsewhere• friendly staff and customers • staff own up to their mistakes👏🏻

Have had horrible experiences with local groomers. I am so happy I found DerPetHaus. My girl was so happy when I picked her up & she looked absolutely perfect. They followed how I wanted Yuki to look & did it! Great spot if you are looking for dog groomer!

I have been taking my corgi here for 6 years - we tried a couple different places but my fussy bean did not jive with anyone until we found Dep Pet Haus.They have been a blessing - Devon and the team are AMAZING.Quick with scheduling, clean, nice smelling, and sanitary (IDK who the lady below thinks its dirty - they are literally grooming dogs all day and STILL clean the place???) great on the phone and Enda LOVES going! I cannot recommend this place high enough.

Just picked up our 5 month old English Cocker Spaniel and he looks amazing! Robin did an amazing job on kylo and we will for sure be coming back! She listened to exactly what we wanted and what we didn’t want. Our puppy was not at all stressed and was, surprisingly, full of energy after his 4 hour grooming. Overall very pleased and it was well worth the price and some! Here are two before and two after photos!

We took our little Terrier mix, Sugar here and she turned out LOVELY. We hadn't had her groomed in over a year, so she was looking very rough. To Top it all off I know she's a little pip when it comes to actually getting groomed - so these folks were able to take a feisty little scrubby looking lady and turn her into a beautiful princess that she is. We look forward to using them again in the future, and would absolutely suggest to others that they bring their furry loved ones here also.

I took my cats here for a nail trim. When I got home I found that one of my cat's nails was trimmed so far down it is almost completely gone. Blood all over him and my house. I called Der Pet Haus to ask why I hadn't been informed. They said "oh sometimes you can't tell until the pet starts moving around a lot. Like when they get home. Just put some corn starch on it, he will be fine."I will not be going back. Staff should be trained at the very least to know not to cut claws completely down.

After doing a little research and calling around I ended up deciding to try Der Pet Haus. Best decision I've made by far! They were kind and my dog's hair has NEVER looked better ! I can’t believe I didn’t leave a review before. When we first moved back to the area, we brought our dog to Der Pet Haus and it was the WORST experience we’ve ever had at a groomer. They returned out dog to us bleeding from the mouth, both eyes were dark red bloodshot, and out dog, who up until then LOVED and adored going to the groomer was totally traumatized. They were rude, the facility was dirty and the owner shrugged what happened off until my husband got on the phone with him. I don’t know how this place is in business still, but if you care at all about the well-being of your dog, AVOID THIS PLACE. There is an amazing groomer right up the street located inside of the VCA on ne 8th. You don’t have to be a patient of VCA to see him. Go there, he is the best and their staff is awesome.

I had really disappointing experience with this service, I've asked to trim by dog - schnauzers breed.I've been told by owner that he will work on him solely and will do all necessary stuff and he is a master.First master has delegated his work to someone else.Second dog was not trimmed at all, all his fur was on him after several hours. It was said to me, it was not possible to do without blood. (Blood heh). First picture how it should look like, it is a proper way to trim schnauzers and there is only one way to do that, second picture how it was done.Third I was charged for the whole price(140 USD) on per hour basis, for not doing that have been asked. Some basic activities was accomplished which is most places are priced around 50-70.And I've been told that if I want my dog to look better I should come in 4 weeks and pay again for one more trimming. Something is totally weird here. Either tell that you can't do that and return me a dog or do you job well.
