Really wanted to love this place, but it’s a hit and miss.Drinks were just ok, nothing for me to crave for & it tends to be too sweet for meAs a lot of the reviews said, know that ordering majority of the food here can take quite a long time, even longer than some restaurant food bill times of 10 min, so just be prepared for that.Prices are on the higher side, but hey it’s Bellevue. $6 for 3pcs of Shrimp dumplings is higher than the usual price of dim sum for example. But again, it’s understandable because of the area.Pineapple bun sandwiches are good. The piggy buns you have to eat right away or it wouldn’t be as good. Unfortunately the fillings was too sweet for me and my 9 year old . Reminds me of the frozen animal piggy buns you can buy at the Asian grocery store at Hmart/99 ranch, which I just steam at home. The place looked clean and aesthetically pleasing. I would sometimes see people working on their laptops while having their drinks on the side.Customer service unfortunately on the times I have been there —not the best. Not a smile in sight or a friendly welcoming vibe. They aren’t being rude, just lacking when it comes to standard hospitality industry. As a cafe, I think they can really stand out and elevate their business a lot more if they connected more often with their guests, creating memorable first impressions for first time customers and developed even more regulars.

Cute little bakery. The steamed buns are simple yet yummy. Looks cute and sad to destroy it haha. The taro and custard filling were both great! The custard is especially creamy and I loved the flavor! Not too sweet. It’s just right. The creme brûlée tart is so soft. I expected it differently so it became a slight disappointment. As for the pork floss bun, I haven’t had pork floss in a while. So, it was nice to eat it again. I think they should have a little more mayo or whatever sauce it is on the inside of the bun to enhance the flavor.

LOVED! Food was really good. The bun they make tastes really good. Ive only seen it in a baked good form, but never a bun. Was really unique (at least to me).The guy manning the counter was SO NICE. Theres a good customer service nice and then theres this person’s level of courteousness. He just seemed so respectful when taking our order and also greeted us brightly as soon as we entered. If the owner is reading this, we went on 2/11/24!The atmosphere is nice too. Not chaotic and was a nice size to be cozy.Only thing i would say is that it’s street parking so we ended up walking from our Hyatt Bellevue hotel. But we’ll be eating here every time we go to Seattle!

Rarely does the food taste as good as it looks, but this café is legit. The black sesame matcha latte is the best black sesame latte I’ve had to date. Most places water down the black sesame so that it has no flavor and/or doesn’t mix into the rest of the drink but not this place. The taro piggy bun was also fantastic. I was super lucky to get their last one. Super tasty and filling and nothing like the frozen piggy buns sold at 99 Ranch. Not only are the food and drinks amazing, but the aesthetic of the café is so kawaii and modern. This is the perfect spot to come study, get some work done, or catch up with friends.

Cafe aloe has cute piggy buns, other yummy Hong Kong style food, good coffee and other delicious drinks. The atmosphere of the cafe is light and has a nice vibe (even when it’s crowded). This is a great cafe for studying and hanging out with friends. There are inside and outside seating and a cute background area to take a picture. The employees are great, the parking is decent, and the cafe is located a few minutes from the freeway.Parking: Decent parking

A very cute and clean establishment. I ordered the coconut Vietnamese iced coffee, crispy bbq pork bun and the twisted sausage bun. Everything I got was great but the star of the show was definitely the bbq pork bun! I loved how the top was crispy but the rest of the bun was so soft! I also like how the iced coffee wasn’t overly sweet, allowing you to enjoy the bold flavor. Definitely a go to spot if your visiting downtown!

Cafe Aloe has a menu that contains many of my childhood favorites from Hong Kong, and the quality is good! What is not to love?I haven’t tried everything on the menu yet but I found the Hong Kong Milk Tea and the Original Egg Tart to be a bit sweeter than I would like. BUT, this is more of a personal preference and no reflection on the cafe.Cafe Aloe offers both indoor and outdoor seating but tables are limited. The minimalist decor is modern, and the space is spacious and clean.I predict I will become a regular!

The place was easy to find with free street parking outside and around the block. Most of the tables and chairs were open when we arrived close to closing time. There was a small area for napkins, sauces, utensils, and whatnot for you to serve yourself. Your order is called when ready, so you can sit and wait before picking up your order from the counter. The food was as expected, like you would find at any other HK cafes. They steam the food fresh when you order, so you do have to wait 15-20 minutes. The molten custard piggy bun was yummy. I just wish it was bigger. The sandwich was a little pricey.Overall, the food and atmosphere were good. I would go again. Hopefully, next time, they will have a greater drink selection to include Ovaltine or Horlick.

1. Staff not friendly.-Ordered food and we sat outside by the balcony and the staff told us that they will let us know when the food is ready. Waited around 20 mins still didn’t get any notice so went inside to check and saw our drinks and food just laid on the counter?2. It was my first time visiting because they had good reviews, unfortunately the food was nasty.- The PIGGY BUN presentation looks good but the taste was horrible. Made me wonder when they made it because the cooking paper or the baking paper was sticked on the bottom and had difficult time to peel off and it was super dried. Also they had barely added the fillings inside so didn’t have any flavor, tasted like plastic.- CRISPY HONG KONG sandwich wasn’t crispy at all. As soon you try to take a bite the top part would just fall off and it’s really hard to eat and it was too salty.Business owner needs to improve staffing (customer service) and food.

Been here twice during a year. The sandwiches feel too heavy for me to go here often. The drinks have been a missed for me.This place has some seating, better for small groups. Parking is parallel on the street.

Another dog-friendly breakfast spot! Their HK crispy egg sandwich is ohhhh so good. I prefer the SPAM just cuz SPAM. But the sausage is also good with a nice touch of minced ginger. The eggs are fluffy and juicy, balanced out by the pineapple bun’s sweetness. The melted cheese, ahhhh great texture. The egg tart and piggy custard bao is also good but kinda Smol.Overall great! Clean and neat environment with plenty of street parking on a Sunday.

This place is nice! The food was pretty decent.. the Hong Kong breakfast sandwich was tasty. Husband loved the topping and the spam too. The bbq pork bun and piggy bun was awesome! We had the taro one and the filling was very flavorful! The egg custard was good! Skip the onion bun, it is beautifully made with a lot of flaky layers but really needs more onion flavor! No drinks this time… as others have said definitely come early and be prepared to wait.. will try again!

Got a salted caramel latte and a custard piggy bun. The coffee, although it tasted good was barely warm. The interior space is nice to sit in on a rainy day. Wish they would start offering coffee in a reusable cup while dining-in as some other coffee shops have started doing.

I really can’t believe that I’ve lived nearby for 5 years but never came to this place before. The major reason is that the 110th Ave is continuously under construction so I never got a chance to notice it. This restaurant is most like those family owned place and mainly serving neighborhood nearby. Highly recommend to have breakfast or brunch here, the pineapple buns are super good.

Came here for a yelp event, I got a egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, shrimp dumplings and 2 egg tarts. The bread for the sandwich had a sweet crusted top which was perfect with the salty savory cheese and egg mix also the shrimp dumplings were packed full, soft and bouncy. The Cafe has a cute selfie wall, the atmosphere is relaxed and they have plenty of tables and wifi. Great spot 👌🏼

We were the first one to order then 4 other groups came in. But it took them 25 minutes to prepare our orders. The piggy buns with custard/yams were tasteless and dry. The sausage bun wasn't a bun but a crescent hotdog (see picture). Somebody ordered a Viet coffee and we saw that the lady pulled an open can of condensed milk out of the fridge. They should have at least transferred it to a sealed container for proper food safety protocol. And their drinks were lukewarm! They have nice interiors though and I like the crispy pork bun.

This place is definitely a hidden gem in Bellevue. Great spot for a coffee break or business meeting. The food options are good and you can’t go wrong with anything. I LOVE their Hong Kong Milk Tea and iced crema Vietnamese latte.

Delicious and unique. The Hong Kong milk tea balances sweetness with tea perfectly. The Hong Kong sandwich with eggs, cheese, and spam, surprised in the best possible way with its melty cheese, topped with a pineapple bun for an extra twist. The peach mojito blew me away as well. It's light and fresh, with just enough real fruit flavor.

Great little cafe. Hong Style coffee and snacks! The HK egg sandwiches are delish as well as the molten bao. The Hong Kong milk tea was good, and if that's not your thing try the refreshing non alcoholic mojitos!

The HK style breakfast sandwich is my favorite! The sweet, crunchy bread goes well with the salty spam. The staff is super friendly and the space itself is cute. The coffee is pretty good, too.

FINALLY a place with reasonable pricing around here, the staff is super sweet, the place has a very calming vibe to it and the egg tart is worth a shot. Excellent coffee as well, so glad this place is close to me! Not a fan of the crispy BBQ pork bun but can't have everything in life hahaAlso, pet-friendly
