Chill coffee shop in Bellevue Library area to study and work. Grabbed my cuppa this morning, and I enjoyed it. Visited this place a few years ago and liked it, they changed location after the BLM movement, and it still has the same vibe.Parking is a hassle here, luckily street parking helped me this morning. They do have bakery food from Macarina Bakery, perfect with your beverage.

The moment I stepped into the cafe, I knew I can just chill here w my book and coffee. The music is soothing and u will notice the beautiful coffee tables and art on the walls. The selection for drinks and food is pretty decent. I met a lady that said this place has been here for about 8 years! So glad they r still here after the COVID. There’s a steady stream of customers coming in. And my Maple Death oatmilk hot latte is very nicely done.Will b back.

Quite simply the highest quality of drip coffee I've had in Bellevue. I loved that I was offered glad mug when ordering. Drip tastes so much better in a mug over paper to go cup. Single source coffee from Costa Rica had intense flavor but we very smooth around the edges. Simply delicious. Another thing I greatly appreciated was that the coffee was hot, but not surface of the sun hot (sbux for example). It was drinkable as soon as I got it.I look forward to going back and trying more drinks and possibly food. The vibe was relaxing, but we're going to try and bounce you out of your chair like Some other places. (Mercury's)Owner was very knowledgeable and friendly.Nice little area for outdoor seating to continue chill vibe. They even serve alcohol. Fun place. Highly recommend.

Modern cafe that offers coffee, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, limited on vegan sandwiches and wine. There’s outdoor and indoor seating. So bring the dog, and the alcoholic in your life 😜. I ordered a 12oz iced Americano and enjoyed it. I’d order it again. My wife went out on the limb and ordered Hawaiian coffee. She’s never had it before, but enjoyed it and said she’d order it again.

Big fan of the atmosphere, also heads up that there are two locations. The one that I went to was quiet, nice, and some decent parking options in front. I will say that the cleanliness of this thought could improve, the cup that I received had lipstick from the last person using it on it. And also the place that holds the pastries is unique, and I was curious how they clean it.Regardless, a really cool spot, was happy enough with the food and coffee, and would probably give it a second chance before counting them out. Unfortunately, my biggest concern was the staff felt underwhelming at best. A little bit more eagerness to assist your customers and be of Service when explaining what’s on your menu would be appreciated

Cutest little corner for coffee! I had an almond cappuccino and almond croissant and they were so good. The crossaint was to die for, definitely try it if you go there. Nice ambience inside and friendly staff. Id definitely this place to meet friends or for a date or even for a small business meeting.

Great coffee, good atmosphere, dog friendly. But don’t expect the 12 dollar toast to be worth 12 dollars… and definitely don’t ask for a refund.The man at the counter (and owner, I think?) jumped straight to calling me a problem customer and aggressively shouting over me. All I had done was complain about bad toast! I was correspondingly rude in response, which I felt bad about afterwards, until I read the other 1-star reviews. Apparently "shout at the customer" is part of the employee handbook here. In retrospect... 10 out of 10, would be rude to again.And I'll let the toast speak for itself:

Terrible service the barista clearly hates his job and people. After looking him up he’s also the owner and apparently this is on brand for him. You should avoid this place at all cost and google him for further laughs and shock. The place had no food as portrayed in the website and looks like it’s going out of business - which wouldn’t be terrible. Best of the luck if they think that’s how they should treat customers when you’re in the business of providing a service.

The food is below average and overpriced, but what makes me go out of way to leave this review is the owner himself. He's rude, entitled and watching how he interacts with customers and speaks down to them assures that I will not be coming back and I hope people reading this heed the other warnings about this man.It is INHERENTLY clear how problematic he is and that he has a pattern of insults, harassment and aggression. There's no need to give his food or this small business a pass for his terrible personality, my suggestion to go anywhere else but here.

Never met such an unpleasant barista/owner. I’m assuming he’s the owner based on reviews similar to my own experience. 0/10 only good for making the people of Bellevue feel good about themselves for “supporting locally owned business”. Spend your money elsewhere, this man doesn’t deserve it for his underwhelming food/drink and even worse service.

Stopped at this place out of convenience as it was the closest coffee shop near an appt that I had. This is probably the dirtiest coffee shop Ive ever seen. It is not being kept up and as soon as I ordered my drink I regretted as I don’t think this place would pass a food and safety inspection in the state it was in today. The owner is also very rude and doesn't appear to be happy to have customers. Don't waste your time going here.

We went there for breakfast and coffee. First of all, the food and coffee were ok, but there were no food menu except for breakfast sandwiche. I asked the server what are the other food choices, and he told us they have avocado toast and ham sandwiche, which was what we ordered. So I paid, but I didn't pat attention to the total amount, and I didn't get a receipt. Then when I got my credit card charge notification and saw $40+ total for 2 coffee and 2 small sandwiches, I went to ask the server how much were the sandwiches. I was just asking the question because I had finished up the eating already. The server's attitude was super rude and said I was complaining, but in fact I wasn't because I knew it was my fault not checking the prices. The server was super rude and blame me for not taking the receipt, he also rudely told me to take the finished plates and glasses back to him even though we dumped all the garbage and put them away. While we were eating there, there's was another customer had an argument with the server and we didn't know what happened, but I guess we know. There are so many great places and coffee shops in Bellevue, no need to go to this place. Absolutely not recommending this place!

Spend your hard earned dollars at a different place. Shawn, the owner has no integrity and doesn’t truly care about his customers. He has a superiority mindset and won’t cater to requests for a drink that YOU are paying for. Just look at how he responds to negative reviews- says enough about his character. Unlike any other business owner i’ve seen (and not in a good way)

Our GoTo espresso stop in downtown Bellevue. We appreciate their rich and flavorful cappuccinos and lattes and great service. Convenient to the library. Free parking in the building garage if you’re not on foot.

This is the worst coffee shop I have ever been to! The man was unprofessional and obtuse. The food looked old and dry and appeared to still have crumbs in the glass case from days before. My coffee was black and what looked like saliva sitting in the middle of my drink! I ordered a mocha and this is what I got. I asked the man politely to either refund my money or fix my beverage and he refused to do either. I am assuming because I paid cash smh. My mom also had a horrible experience here as well. Apparently he doesn’t know how to make a green tea latte. Disappointing and will never refer this place to a soul unless they would like to sit in an unkept coffee shop with a digusting Barista!

Owner was extremely rude. When we walked in, he gave us a dirty look and right after we ordered, he scolded us saying that it was extremely rude to bring in food and drink from other restaurants. I feel disrespected and cheated by the owner because he waited until after we ordered to tell us his cafe policy (that wasn’t posted anywhere). We had just come from another cafe that my boyfriend wanted to go to and these were our leftovers.I will never be back and strongly discourage others from visiting this establishment.

Non-coffee snob tea-drinker here. Stopped in to get laptop work done. Easy street parking nearby. Love the cafe logo. Music was good but loud; had trouble hearing barista. They had no Earl Grey tea for a London Fog so I got a latte, which was good, but was also $6 for a 10oz mug, and 30% of it was foam that dissolved after I sat down. When I went to ask for wifi password, barista said they don't have wifi. This is totally fine.. but when you see a customer come in with a laptop bag and order a for-here drink, maybe let them know then that you don't have internet, or put a sign on the door or counter to make it clear? Also no half & half, which I would've appreciated to stretch my small cup of coffee. Just a warped gallon-sized pump of hand sanitizer on the counter..? Ambience could use a tune-up; the bones of it -- lights, furniture, plants, music -- are great but the rest feels dirty and thrown together. Also I love Macrina pastries but the display made nothing look fresh or appealing and had no prices listed. Based on past reviews, I anticipate a snarky response from the owner; I'll just say it seems like this place used to be a gem, and could easily be again if they'd just improve a few things!

Asked to have a green tea latte and got a hot green tea and the man refused to make me the correct order after I already paid $5.50 actually had given him a one dollar tip not knowing my drink was not correct. Then he asked me to leave. Unbelievable I have never in my whole life to ask to leave an establishment. Pathetic I am trying to get a hold of the owner
