Took my large elderly 13yr old cat in to be groomed Nov 7 2023. It took too many hours. His appt was at 2pm. They let him sit for 2.5 hours before I came back and wondered at 415 why he wasnt done yet? I shouldve took him home. At 430 all the sudden he was done. He died exactly 2 months later. He was healthy and fine when I took him in, except for some matt's. He progressively went downhill in health after this experience. Just fyi the year before he came home so sore he could barely move. They broke his back. Dont take your cat here. I wont ever again.

Charissa at Wags N’ Whiskers did an excellent job with my labradoodle! He doesn’t have traditional Labradoodle hair, so he can be a tough one to style. I highly recommended her! (And she made a super cute Valentine’s Day bow she gave him)

I love this place. I have 2 very nervous and anxiety-filled dogs the staff is SO good with. I always feel good about bringing my dogs here - even if my dogs don’t, because they hate public places 🤣 but they do so well here!!They’ve been to rough groomers in the past and I can tell by their behavior when they get home. These two are treated with so much patience, care, and love - it shows!! Highly recommend!!

These ladies are over busy! A very popular place. Although appointments are hard to get in hurry because they are so popular, the grooming is always 5 stars. As well as they are very flexible with my husband's change in clips each time until he dialed in what he wants with his baby. Suggestion, we schedule our next appointment the day of her grooming. Makes getting in routine and no stress. We do every 2 months as we brush in-between visits to keep her knot and mat free.

The groomers here are fantastic. I have two rescue dogs that are still getting used to things and are scared in new situations. Everyone was super understanding about it and were so gentle and sweet to them. They really took their time to calm them down during their nail trim, and wouldn't continue until they were comfortable. And even better, I walked in with both dogs, and I didn't even have to wait. We'll definitely be returning, and hopefully we can work our way up to a bath soon!!! Thank you Wags N' Whiskers!!!!

Our good girl Prada. It was hard to find a good groomer but guess what we did! Prada is a rescue we found her 11 years ago at the Portland Humane Society. she is a special needs cat. She had a broken jaw and it did heal properly so she tried to clean herself and she gets really dirty and she hates us trying to shave her. We give her baths and groom but only so far can we accomplish what we want for her. So one day I was looking up a great place that grooms cats and I found Wags N’ Whiskers and they had Awesome reviews. So i made a appointment and brought Prada in. The staff and owners were great and caring people. It inky took a couple hours for Prada to be taken care of. As you can see they did a fabulous job. They trimmed her also cut her nails, cleaned her ears and bathed and dried her. The best part about the experience. When they went to get her from the drying room they held her like it was one of their own. Prada never allows that. That tells me she was comfortable and that what matters. Great staff good price lots of caring and compassion. I highly recommend trying it out. We will be going there for now on...Thank you so much for taking good care of our fur baby!

Great place! They did an awesome job on my doggo Midnight! He was all clean and soft and his cut was perfect for him and his needs. Not to mention the very pleasant cologne smell and bandana he came home with!I would strongly recommend this place for getting your friend a good trim! Definitely going back next time!

Just came with my puppy, and I wasn't impressed. They did a good job cleaning up the feet, but the knots in her fur were still there and they seemed to have done nothing for the shedding.

Took my puppy for a bath and nail trim after a long camping trip where he got super dirty.He came out beautifully clean and smelling sweet. They even put a cute kerchief on him for good measure.Affordable, with excellent service, we'll be back for sure!

My Mom owned and operated a grooming salon when I was growing up. But since she hung up her shears I hadn't come accross any groomer that was as good as her... until Daisy (sorry Mom). I have a Great Pyrenees & a Newfoundland, not easy dogs to deal with and they always, always walk out the door looking spectacular (despite the Newfoundlands face).

Came for a walk-in nail trim. My dog is very skittish, but completely harmless. The employees here held her so gently and kept her calm while trimming her nails. I've never seen my dog handle a nail trim so well before. Will be coming back!

We go there just to see Emily. She's great with our German Shepard Hawk.Today we took Hawk to see Emily, Hawk was a little out of control this morning and we set him up for failure by parking right in front of the door. So when people started bringing there dogs in he lunged at a couple of them. One of them just kept walking somewhat close to my dog instead of giving me a chance to get him out of the way and under control. Both dog owners complained to the owner/manager about my dogs "aggressive" behavior. The owner/ manager said they would groom Hawk today but never again. I feel they didn't want to hear our side and judged my dog by his German Shepherd breed. I just took my dog home and will not be making the trip to battle ground from Portland Oregon for Emily to groom again.

We came here as a walk in after calling as we were in the area and it was our pups first grooming and experience. They were busy and a bit stressed out however they handled him with kindness and all the other animals we witnessed during the time present - even making sure bigger breeds and smaller breeds were separated.The deodorizer / dry shampoo has a pretty overwhelming scent I ended up bathing him myself to get rid of it and he was pretty dirty which led me to believe a bath didn’t happen.Additionally; I explicitly asked about his glands being cleaned-because I wasn’t certain if it was the issue I observed…they said they had done it and it likely was the issue.1 vet appointment later I can 100% confirm they did not perform this task as stated and for this we won’t be back.

My sister recommended this shop, she has taken her dog here for a few years, and loves it. I called and left a message, and I received a call back next day, very friendly and got us in pretty quickly. They took our pets special needs into consideration, and gave feedback on how it went her first grooming. Great experience! Second time, we booked on a Saturday instead of a weekday like we had previously. It was so busy, they weren't able to accommodate her needs that time, and I completely understood, it was a good judgement call in the best interest of our pets. I will continue to take our pup here for grooming, they care about your pet and have great customer service.

I took my cat here expecting them to do a full groom and bathe(w/water and soap) I even asked when I dropped my cat off to make sure they didn't use dry shampoo, my cat was dirty and I needed a full groom, otherwise what am I paying for, right? After not even 30 min I got a phone call my cat was already done which was surprising because its taken quite a bit longer in the past for a full groom other places. I took my cat out of the crate when I got there and she was still dirty! I could clearly see she still had dandruff and her haircut was very sloppy. I asked them again if they actually bathed her and they said they used dry shampoo!!!I'm really confused at what I'm paying for. The past 7 yrs I've had my cat groomed other places and they've always done a full groom, not dry shampoo. I've never even heard of a groomers using dry shampoo!! I could buy dry shampoo for a lot cheaper for $10 and do it myself. The point of paying a groomer is for the expected service of washing an animal with soap and water and so on. Shame on them especially after I asked and you guys said you bathe them with water! I will never come here again. I will take my business elsewhere thank you very much.

They take great care of our little girl Precious, and she always comes out looking even more beautiful than when she went in. The care and professional shows in the work they do. We happily return every month for her spa day.

Upon pick up I noticed both cats were dirty and not washed as usual, I asked them if they were bathed and the response was "no the groomer used dry shampoo", my only response was the blank look of confusion on my face and as I stood there speechless, never have I heard of a professional grooming facility using dry shampoo on animals. This was a complete let down for me, I can buy dry shampoo myself at Petco, I don't pay for this expensive service so they can use dry shampoo. I took them out of the kennels and saw the thick white coat of dandruff and knew immediately they were not washed. The fur was not shaved correctly, it was really uneven, this has never happened before, I tired getting in touch with the manager to discuss my concerns but she won't return my calls so I had to make this review, please be aware of this if you bring your cat here.

I have had my dog's nails clipped here several times and today took him in to be groomed. They are very friendly and did an amazing job with his haircut. I was not able to get ahold of anyone when I called on various days last week and this week, but dropped by the shop yesterday and they were able to get him in for an appointment today. I will go back because they did a great job and the price is very reasonable.
