This gorgeous and superbly well stocked grocery store has all the high quality organic food products, produce, and beverages you would find at a high end health food store and SO much more. It makes Whole Foods look rather pitiful in comparison! They have vibrant flower arrangements, choice wines, local beers and ciders, and best of all, a killer hot food bar, salad bar, fresh sushi and in-house bakery, and all of it delicious and well prepared. Their array of desserts is impressive and they make hot fresh Japanese style tofu bowls as well as meat ones. I was happy that they have some very tasty vegan sushi rolls which are so fresh with quality ingredients. They even had freshly picked chanterelles, and porcini mushrooms. The staff are all friendly and helpful and they have an abundance of indoor and outdoor seating for dining as you can easily eat a feast here! I was here before Halloween and loved how many pumpkins they have! Best of all, it’s located in the heart and soul of charming and delightful downtown Bainsbridge Island!

We were visiting Bainbridge Island for the day and, after having a late dinner, realized that Town and Centre Grocery was one of the few places that still opened.The store was beautifully laid out with spacious aisles and well-stocked and well-organized shelves. I got the sense that the store was clean and have excellent staff taking care of it.The selection of fruits and vegetables was excellent, and there were a number of unique products that I have not seen before.Stop by if you need some supplies or groceries when you find yourself here.

Fantastic long time local grocery that has expanded regionally. Exceptional customer service, impressive fresh fruit and vegetable section, great seafood counter and butcher, deli, and to-go options as well. Love their weekly “Big Board” specials.

05/06/23: This is a well-stocked, clean, and beautiful grocery store on the island. It is downtown so you can visit it conveniently on foot. I love how they have a great orange juice machine that produces fresh, on-the-go orange juice for customers. I highly recommend this location to everyone

Such a beautifully designed and appointed grocery store in the center of downtown and within easy walking distance from the ferry. Town & Country has an abundance of takeout foods, fresh fruit’s and veggies, an impressive wine and spirits selection, beer, kombucha, Asian ingredients…it has it all it seems! Service is helpful and friendly. We love this store. We have to shop here each time we visit Winslow whether we need anything or not. There’s always something that catches our eye. It’s a fun experience.

We had a room with view of the city. The room was somewhat spacious with with a small kitchen counter, microwave, dishes and dinette to eat snacks. The bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable. Check-in was quick and pleasant. We were on the clubroom floor. The clubroom was not open however when were there. It's conveniently located downtown for our visit to all the neighborhoods for a couple days.

I went in last night and grabbed a cucumber for my salad. When I got up to the register, the person working noticed there was a rotten spot on it and got the clerk helper to go grab me a good one. I told the checker that I had eye surgery earlier that day and that's probably why I didn't notice the spot, so he checked it for me and made sure it was a good one! Having been a shopper at Town and Country Market for going on 40 years, I don't recall ever getting a "bad" piece of produce. It also is really great to see that the employees are looking out for the customer! They are just the best.

The OG T&C, used to be called Central Market. Excellent selection of local, organic and international foods. High quality and affordable. The salad and olive bar are delicious and fresh.Be sure to check out the fresh sushi selection near the produce area.We are so fortunate to enjoy this grocer in sweet little Poulsbo.

Your front of house personnel Vicky is extremely rude & abrasive. I suggest you take your prison guard attitude & demeanor to the women prison in Purdy and not Bainbridge island.There was a foreign couple in front of me at the self checkout who were attempting to pay for and bag their groceries & she hounded them in a very rude manor in an accusatory manner insinuating they were trying to leave without paying.She then proceeded to interfere with my grocery bagging & payment insisting I pay for paper bags before I know how many I’m using while bagging my groceries.She literally stood over me in my personal space and eyeballed me the entire time. It was extremely rude and embarrassing, and degrading in front of my child and father.I have been shopping at this town and country for over eight years and never in my life have I had a more unpleasant experience.Maybe you would expect that treatment at a Walgreens in downtown Seattle at best

From the produce to the seafood, the bakery to the wine section, really the entire store rocks. The butcher will spend time helping you find just the right cut. The green grocer will cut open a star fruit so you can try it. It's just an amazing resource. Oh, and the take away food? Awesome.

While working at the post office, I stopped by the market for lunch. The chicken fried steak, pasta (spaghetti) and mashed potatoes with leeks and red peppers was delicious. I am so happy that I didn't go to McDonald's.

It's a fantastic place to get groceries due to its proximity to being downtown. Beware of the price markup on just about everything. Otherwise it's a nice place with wonderful employees. Self check out is a must because it's gets very busy.

I will love and miss this grocery store until I die.We lived on Bainbridge for two years and this was one of my few happy places during the dark time which was COVID quarantine in Washington.It’s a beautiful store with a large selection of food. We loved getting flats of fresh berries here, steak, rotisserie chicken, and pasta salad. It was always very easy to put something together for dinner.

Prices are up there, especially for organic produce, etc, but we're visiting from Florida where just about everything is less expensive. The quality of the produce at TnC is exemplary. Friendly staff, clean, pleasant surroundings.

My favorite store but a few constructive points:1. Self-checkout is not optimal when actually grocery shopping, not for a premium store.2. Also, the manager often seems bothered.3. I miss the friendliness we used to experience, as it was a differentiator and made the price differences worth it.
