Nestled in the serene countryside of Bainbridge Island, Pegasus Coffee is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. As the island's first coffee establishment, it exudes a quaint charm that instantly captivates visitors.Stepping into Pegasus, I was greeted by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the inviting scent of buttery croissants. The rustic decor and warm ambiance create a cozy retreat from the outside world, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely morning or afternoon. The coffee itself is exceptional—rich, flavorful, and expertly crafted. Whether you prefer a robust espresso or a creamy latte. And let's not forget about the croissants—they are simply divine. Light, flaky, and generously buttery, they pair perfectly with a steaming cup of coffee for the ultimate indulgence.

TLDR; coffee is awful, food is ok.We came in with high expectations, but somehow were let down by the food and drinks here. The cappuccinos were incredibly bitter and acidic- no amount of sugar could fix it. The avocado toast was alright (the avocado tasted a bit old) and the egg bacon provolone breakfast sandwich wasn’t any better.I can’t for the life of me figure out how a place with such good ratings turned out to be a let down.On the other hand, it is a really nice cafe atmosphere-wise.

Well I wouldn’t know about the coffee, I never got my order. I sat in that place for 30 minutes while the two kids behind the counter talk to their friends either on the phone or when they came in when I asked what happened to my order they said someone must of taken it. The never even called my name on my order and I was sitting at a table next to where they cash out and give out the orders. When I brought that to their attention they said they would make my order but instead proceeded to make other orders while I waited some more. I got my money back, not only for my order, but the two bags of coffee I had purchased. This place was horrible. The irony is that it is somewhat historical since this was a place where Japanese had to come to come for registration during WWII. I’m Asian American and watching white people get served before me sounds like you really get the gist of history. If you are white, enjoy this place, all others I recommend the place up the road called Cups espresso and cafe. They had one young lady talking and making orders. She was doing the job that two people at Pegasus couldn’t even do. She needs a raise. If you go tip her graciously. I was going to spend over $50 at Pegasus and you lost that business. Also when the water dispenser is empty please refill it. Although the only people getting water was me, cause I hadn’t gotten my drinks, and a black guy so that sounds about right again.

Some of the nicest people I've met in Seattle - both the staff and the locals.I found this place on maps before I even caught my flight, so today I took the ferry over to Bainbridge knowing at least Pegasus was on the other side.Originally I planned to stop by for the vegan donuts but ended up staying for 3 hours and doing some work.No one bothered me about the laptop, and on the contrary, multiple people stopped to chat to me about my camera (and accent)!Great vibes, great vegetarian breakfast bagel, great cake (and vegan donuts!), wide selection of teas, and clear knowledge of what is what regarding diets and allergens.Glad I went - wish I had time to go back!Vegetarian options: Good standard veggie options like various avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches, soup, cakes and pastries. Vegan donuts!Dietary restrictions: I asked about a soy allergy and the staff checked right away. I think they also have gluten free options and clearly know what's what

We visited this adorable coffee shop twice and loved our time there. We tried a mocha, vanilla latte, pumpkin spice latte, and an americano. All delicious. Pastries were even better! Don’t sleep on the cinnamon roll!Highlight of the shop is their vibe and beautiful storefront. Perfect for that Instagram shot!

Great place for a coffee and pastry on a Sunday morning on the island. Almond croissant was great, but the raspberry oat bar was the bomb!!Parking: Ease of parking, just drove in and there were plenty of spots in the lot as well as on the street.

Super cute coffee shop with great drinks. Both their house brewed coffee and their lattes were extremely satisfying on a misty afternoon.Only disappointing thing was that they were out of their iconic coffee sleeves- which I collect.@pegasus coffee house if you see this please mail me one!!Vegetarian options: Plenty of plant based milk options!

Please do not order the chocolate hot cake and do not order Macchiato either.I think they the hot cake from somewhere and just microwave it and serve it. It was cold in the middle. Unfortunately, the Costco hot cake is significantly better than the one served here which they charge $14 foot and price is conveniently not mentioned on the menu. The macchiato was not prepared well either. A double macchiato was smaller than the size of an espresso shot. Overall a disappointment. Pictures attached!Better get $9.99 hot cake from Costco for pack of 6, which actually comes in proper ramekin and tastes better. They would be better off serving Costco ones Anna make more money.

This coffee shop is so beautiful on the outside! It’s pretty dull on the inside. The coffee was good, not a lot of options for food and the bakery items looked pretty dull and dated. We took the molten chocolate cake which they have partnered with Hot Cakes (Seattle). Its a nice coffee shot, good for photos outside and coffee is good.

What a great vibe! Good coffee, good breakfast/lunch offerings. Limited seating for the amount of clients they had. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They have a parking lot plus street parking. The building in itself is a historical structure, where Japanese where ordered to assemble during the World War II era. They also offer a wide variety of pastries

This is a cute coffee shop located near the water. It has covered outside seating as well. The place was bustling even as we arrived quite early in the morning. We got a mocha, a drip, orange hazelnut croissant, onion pinwheel, nutella bite and bacon egg sandwich with garlic aioli. The mocha was great however the drip wasn’t that good. The sandwich was tasty and the croissant delightful. We took the pinwheel and nutella bite home and they both tasted excellent after heated.

The coffee is GOOD, like, really good. We had some breakfast here too and it was delicious, although, if you’re looking for something more decadent you might want to find another place to eat. They have avo toast, breakfast sandwiches, pastries etc. I had a caramel latte and it was so tasty, I would recommend a cup of coffee here before taking a walk around the marina or into the Main Street area.Dietary restrictions: Substitutions are welcome for dietary restrictionsParking: Street parking, adjacent lot and small lot reserved for customers.

The atmosphere of the place is very good, the tables outside are very enjoyable on a sunny day, however, the people who served us were not very friendly, in a hurry to take the orders and get us moving fast. The coffee was ok and the food order came out of the kitchen wrong and took a long time. The bathroom was very dirty, I would not recommend this place.

This is the perfect spot to get started on the Bainbridge Island trip. We arrived on a gloomy cold morning, and immediately fell in love with the cozy atmosphere. It was a little crowded on Sunday morning, but there's a heated patio available if you can't find seats inside. Parking is available for free in the adjacent parking lot or across the street. I ordered an Eggnog Latte and the Signature Avocado Toast on croissant. It was delicious, although I wished the croissant could be toasted. After breakfast, we took a walk on the waterfront trail in the back and there were some nice views.

I was traveling to Bainbridge when I heard about Pegasus Coffee shop and had to try it. There was a large crowd with lines forming to order (a good sign for the quality of the food). I ordered a couple of coffees and avocado toasts. The coffees were really good but I felt the toasts were a little expensive for what we were given. The toasts were definitely tasty.

The place is pretty neat the location is right on the marina, building looks cool (minus the old torn up patio roof ha) coffee is high quality you can taste, tea was decent enough which was high quality but London fog was slightly off. Indoor is a little cramped but the patio is neat, there’s heaters but they weren’t on during this cold day.

Great coffee with vibes inside. Sandwiches were a bit of a wait but well worth it. This place gets crowded after 9 am for good reason.

While visiting Seattle from the East Coast, I took a ferry to Bainbridge Island to enjoy lunch with a friend. Afterwards, we stopped at Pegasus Coffee House for a cup of coffee and a chat. While the coffee was good, the environment was mediocre. Dismissive employees who were clearly anxious for us to rush made the experience seem inhospitable and unwelcoming. It's a shame because the coffee house is beautiful and we REALLY wanted to enjoy our time there!

Asked for an 8 oz latte for here and came in a 12 oz togo cup. When asked why they put it in a 12 oz Togo cup they said it stretches in the cup. A latte shouldn't stretch in the cup as only suppose to have a small layer of foam. As you can see with the picture there is a load of foam that I have taken off the top. Rude when asked why and just overall not the cup of coffee I asked for.

Delicious, low key, very laid back and cool place. Unique blends to try but also simple favorites. Has the hole in the wall gotta check it out kinda vibes. Service was great and staff was cool. Great place to visit if you’ve never been before.
