I went here while in a trip over Christmas and this was one of the highlights of my trip. Erica was so nice every time I came in to buy a cup of tea, she remembered each me time I came in and would talk to me as if I never left. It was so well priced too!! I went afternoon tea here and took my mom. the food was amazing! The pastries were so cute with a Christmas theme perfect for the holidays. The tomato soup was the best I’ve ever had hands down. The owner was so kind and taught me his secret on how he made it :). I got so much tea to take back home with me. I will for sure be going back here next time I’m in Bainbridge.

Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, wonderful choices for teas. We chose the peach pie flavor for our tea from the specialty teas list. The spinach pastry and tomato soup was my FAVORITE.

What an absolutely magical experience! If you are visiting Bainbridge, do yourself a favor and book high tea here. The attention to detail is unmatched. The food was not only gorgeous, it was delicious. It was very obviously made with great care and love. I wish there was a cookbook I could buy to recreate this feast at home. You also need to visit the store. From the unique collection of teas, tinctures and conscious gifts; there is something for everyone. We did not want to leave and can not wait to return. Erica has created one of the most special experiences I’ve had the good fortune to attend. Such a gift.

I just have to say, we absolutely loved our experience at the Bainbridge Apothecary and Tea Shop. It was very easy to reserve a table and I was able to update the reservation to change the # of attendees without issue. I hosted a bridal shower for a dear friend at this adorable venue and everyone really enjoyed it. Our party had the cottage to ourselves, which was the perfect space. The decor creates the perfect ambiance. The tea was great, as was the food. I would absolutely come here again.

A friend and I, who needed to catch up after many years, made reservations for Afternoon Tea at the Bainbridge Apothecary and Tea Shop. It could not have been lovelier. First, Erica (who works in the retail shop; the owner is also named Erica) was gracious and knowledgeable in helping us choose our first pots of tea (unlimited tea is part of the Afternoon Tea!) I chose an apricot green tea, and my friend chose the Cuppa Magic tea. Erica then led us to the little tea house behind the retail shop. The decor is cute and fun, sort of what you would envision from an eccentric but proper Great Aunt. The server, Dalton, brought our tea and answered some questions in a friendly way. Then, the owner, Erica, brought us the requisite three-tiered serving tray filled with little mugs of the most delicious tomato soup, savory tarts, cucumber tea sandwiches, and many tiny, yummy things. She even brought us extra tarts because she felt the others weren't entirely up to par (they were, though). We happily ate everything. When we finished, we returned to the retail shop to take advantage of the 10% discount on tea that comes with the Afternoon Tea service. While we browsed, Carrot Cake, a magnificent orange tabby with a curly tail, graced us with his catly presence. After buying our tea with the expert help of Erica of the Retail Shop, we left, delighted with our experience. I am already making plans to go again Delicious, relaxing, and fun 10/10

I love afternoon tea, and this is one of the best I have attended. The savories, tea sandwiches, and desserts were all exquisite! The teas were delicious, and our server was awesome. I would like to see the scone game stepped up a bit, some clotted cream and lemon curd would be grand, and some fresh cream or milk for the tea, but everything else was just excellent! Truly top notch! We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area.

Beautiful tea shop with a lot of variety to choose from with kind and helpful staff. We bought several types of tea and the quality was very good. We used to go to Steepologie but are excited to have a new spot on Bainbridge to explore unique teas.

Such a delicious afternoon tea experience. Erica was an amazing host and so was carrot cake the cat. We got a variety of delicious treats and some savory cheddar/spinach tartes and tomato soup. All of the teas were delicious, and our favorites were the cherry love and fruitcake. Definitely worth every penny!!

Great high tea experience! The variety and quality of teas here are fantastic. The food is excellent too. They even make their own clotted cream with vanilla and lemon and they have a wonderful house made frozen cherry sangria that is the bomb. The best part though was that Erica and the other folks who work here are so nice and friendly with excellent service. I’ll come back here whenever I can.

If you are looking for the fastest way to get into the Holiday spirit, short of the Polar Express...Holiday High Tea at the Bainbridge Apothecary and Tea Shop is it. My son and I had the most delightful time listening to Christmas music in a toasty cottage while snacking on gorgeous delectables... we truly had the best time! I got some of their proprietary Holiday tea as my "friends' gift" with festive mugs, because it makes the whole house smell like Christmas! I finally have the ambition to decorate! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you to Erika and her staff for making today such a great way to feel Christmas 2023!

Wow! What an incredible experience this place is! We celebrated my grandmothers birthday today and what a treat! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, the tea selection blew up away, and the food was stunning. The tomato bisque was the best tomato soup I’ve ever had, I desperately need the recipe! If I could give 10 stars I would. Also shoutout to carrot cake, really made this place special. 10/10

Went to the tea room today an it was absolutely fantastic. The woman behind the bar was very friendly and helpful, the place was gorgeous, and the tea was incredible. The best part though, was the patio cat, Carrot Cake. I sat on the patio for about an hour, and she kept me company the whole time. She tried to drink my cream, but I thought it was endearing. Overall, this place is a gem and everyone should go there at least once.

This place is super cute & a must stop. The owner is super sweet and easy to talk to even for a socially awkward person like myself! The frozen sangria was strong but with a great taste. I forgot what this frozen slush was called that she recommended but i loved it! It wasn't too sweet at all and a perfect mix of flavors. I will definitely stop by again next time i visit

Went for their witchy tea event in October. Was expecting a typical high tea experience plus maybe some spider webs and pumpkins for atmosphere, but boy was I pleasantly surprised to be wrong!Firstly, I had a few people cancel and trouble getting to the tea house on time due to the ferry and felt awful about being late, but the apothecary shop was so gracious and accommodating and it was not a problem with them at all. When we finally arrived, we had an entire private room to ourselves that was completely decked out - I felt like I had stepped into my very own coven house! The server was attentive and the host herself was so kind and knowledgeable about teas! She took time to have a lengthy discussion with us about our experience as well as different teas, it was truly a pleasure to talk to her and visit this fun and amazing tea house. You can tell they were very thoughtful about their choices and were supporting a lot of other local businesses as well.The apothecary shop itself is also worth visiting - they have a wonderful selection of scents, candles, and tinctures. I ended up buying a wonderful scented oil that I use daily. I will definitely becoming back for their winter solstice event! Can't recommend this place enough!

The Bainbridge Apothecary and Tea shop is a wonderful place to be. The shop itself is welcoming and comfortable, and it feels like home. I came here for a Haunted High Tea party and I had the best experience! Erika does a great job of setting the scene and ambiance, and the food was out of this world. I never leave here without checking out all the different goodies Erika has for sale. I highly recommend this shop, and definitely check out the tea parties!
