This store sells a good variety of produce, lentils, and meat products. Some of the meat you can find here, but not anywhere else and the price is awesome. The only thing that drives me nuts is the coupon, which I usually don't get to use.Very spacious parking, and easy access in and out of the store. I love this store.There's also a deli in the back where you can pick up fried chickens, and corn dogs etch.

Now this Saar location completely different mentality.The cashiers here are really nice,friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating,move fast.This location has great customer service, has great selection of all kind of groceries.They frozen canned,dry packaged fresh meat, fresh produce, lots of fruit selections,they have isles, and isles of groceries. Also they hot deli food ,and hot deep fried chicken at good pricesThey have multi culture , and taste groceries for Asian, American, Italian, Eastern European, and also hispanic,plus lots of other ethnicities food. They have huge parking lot,Good location, good customer service, really good prices

Great store with a seemingly endless variety to choose from. Friendly, helpful employees that are happy to help you find something.Update:I just had to share this incident that I witnessed yesterday.I went to Saar's in Kent yesterday; just for a bottle of wine for my Wife.When I entered the store I kind of cussed under my breath. .There were three cashiers open,, each with 15-20 people in line.I had just one item and was unhappy that I'd have to wait in line for a long time.As I was walking towards the registers I heard an announcement asking for more cashiers. One employee, AB, rushed past me, saying 'Hi' and that he had just clocked out, laughing.By the time that I reached the registers two other employees had opened their lines along with AB, making all six registers open. By the time I was half way to my car these employees cleared all six lines. I've never seen such teamwork. I don't know if they pay their employees so much that they hustle their butts off or they just hire only the best people, but either way, kudos to Saars for making not just my day, but everyone who was in the store.

Wow! Huge variety of groceries. Organized geographically ("eastern Europe, Mideast, Mediterranean" etc) Wine from all over world! Amazing prices for imported foods. Fabulous bakery

Would be nice if they could lower their prices. Otherwise it would be a wonderful place to shop! Until then, it’s just another store that doesn’t matter if shop there or not.

I usually shop here once a month. I don’t like to spend too much. There’s a wide variety of international foods, snacks, produce, etc.I like how the store maintains cleanliness. I can normally find everything I need. Shopping is typically within 30 mins. I’m in and out quick! LOL!

Nice place for international groceries. Produce selection is huge, you can find some of the vegetables that you will never find anywhere else. Specially the cactuses and bamboo shoots.Aisles are well organized, one entire aisle dedicated to Europe and Asia. You can heavy discount on some of the items here.They have good spice selection as well. I am used to homemade spices that my mother used to make after buying raw and organic spices from local farmers. You get almost similar color and taste here and the fact that you get it all at one place.

With all these deliciousness. How can you not love this place? I haven't consumed most of these food items since I was on the other side of the fence! Welcome back, diabetes!The only concern I have with this place is the current state of the men's restroom. Especially with Covid19 still happening in our region.

The company as a whole could work on the lay out, it's easy to get lost looking for something. Idk if it's illegal to copy a more familiar business planogram, but I'd suggest it. Otherwise good staff, clean store, better than average prices.

Best donuts in town, Favorite Fried Chicken $4.99 for 10 on Mon and Fri, lots of international food that's hard to find elsewhere, good staff.Tip: Best yogurt made local called Yami. French style custard like.Not sure about the meat, though. Cheap fish isn't bad.

the old white woman who was working tonight (12-6-23 11:10pm) was extremely condescending and rude. Made me and my fiancé very uncomfortable. cashiers were nice though. hope i never see her again.

Workers here are not real friendly.TBH I have been discriminated on almost every time I have shopped in this store.I live only a few blocks for 30 months now and I have to walk or take my wheelchair but I will go past Saars and all the way to fred meyers just because of the way I'm treated it feels like they dont like me , its been maybe 8of 11 times I've given saars a shot at being my store because they are so close and I seriously would rather shop at Saar's but I'm in tears now just reliving it in my headOne time it was a 100$ western union and the person knew what I needed to do but just told me nope nothing like as if I was lieing knowing all alkngvi was supposed to go to a computer there at the store and put my numbers in there a very easy process with a tiny bit if guidance like I did the next day at a store down the street. It was at Christmas time toI've had to open my jacket and show I wasn't stealing when I was learning to walk again cuz some reason my disability makes me look like a thief idk.I want to like this store very much but I hurt so bad that walking or biking or wheel chairing past to get to fred meyers is a long painful walk so I'm not taking this post lightlyI hope to receive a call from the store attempting to reconcile these complaints but I doubt anyone at the store cares as j called about the western union deal and was left on hold both times for hours never to have anyone return to speak to me it was quite the hurtful frustrating experience especially luving right here and hurting so damn badly just wishing I could stop walking cuz FM Is so much further and I got 3 pinched nerves in my back but I'm an old white hetero male and everyone seems to look at me like scum of the earth especially at Saars in AuburnI'll let y'all know if anything changes but for now yesterday was my last time shopping here until I get my self esteem up a bit as I've got to be built up to be torn down so much and survive.All this is just my experiences over a 3o month time frame .My wife recently has gone blind so over last year I've had to start doing all the shopping and she didnt have the same issues with the treatment so I do know I'm being singled out but I've checked myself its genuinely not my side of the street that needs cleansing

Refused to give a refund on a food that should have never been sold! This place is not safe to buy food from! They leave frozen food out then refreeze after its thawed! Not safe!

What is it not to love about Saar’s? Saar’s has the groceries you need and want at your leisure! The others you can only get certain foods during a “Season!” Not at Saar’s; because they will have what you want to have at any time of the year! I’m from Texas so I’m a Southern Girl who loves to prepare My Mother and Both of My Grandmothers recipes; so I don’t go to others who will have a few of the ingredients that I need! I go to Saar’s because I’m assured that they will have all of the ingredients I need and want!

I like going here but past two times I've had bad experience with meat and bakery. Once I bought steak when I came home opened up the package in-between the meat was almost green. Then this morning went to pick up some donuts. They didn't have any fresh ones so I grabbed the ones the pre packed. They Had mold and like tiny little mouse poop or something. Dont think I'd go back here.

So far I have only been to the one on Pacific Ave in Tacoma. I do like the store people are friendly and they have great prices on produce and meat. And that is the store on Pacific Ave. I wish people who leave reviews about the store tell us which store they were shopping at due to the fact there's one in tukwila there's one in Auburn the one in Pacific Ave and there's one in Kent all the stores have different managers, and employees and the stores are maintained differently believe it or not . So please when you leave a review tell us which store you're reviewing.

This place is no cheaper than any other store and actually had a sale section of past pull date items, some of which looked actually dangerous. Frozen food notably more expensive. Cheap produce but afraid to buy it. Meat good prices; looks okay. Good prices on pre cooked chicken. Tasty.

Ladies in the deep chicken fryer at the back left corner of Saars in Auburn, Washington. Today at 6ish pm we asked the Spanish lady 3bgs for the Monday and Friday special the 20 drumsticks for $9.99, and she cheerfully checked the deep fryer behind her, she said 7mins can you wait, we said ok we will wait. Me and my 3 kids stayed neared the can aisle so that we would not be in the way of other shoppers, there was also a man who after us ordered 1bg of the Monday and Friday special and he waited too. 10 minutes later 2 people bought 3 bg and left so I walked up and asked the dark brown lady we are the people who are waiting for 3bg of the Monday and Friday special, mind you this dark brown lady is the same lady we buy our 3bgs most Fridays in Auburn, Washington. As she is bagging our 1st bag a Spanish lady with a ponytail walks up and ask the dark lady what is the order than the Spanish lady say "No" the maxs is 2bgs, so I tell her ask the Spanish speaking lady with short hair that made us wait 7 min for the new badge, she looks at me and say what lady, so I pointed behind her in there storage area that lady. So the short Spanish hair lady comes and says yes they are the one waiting for the 3bgs 8min ago, but the ponytail Spanish lady says no maxs is 2bgs, so being frustrated I spoke to the dark lady "ma'am you know me I always come here and you always tell me 3bgs is the maxs, how come you don't speak up now", they started talking back and forth so the cue behind me was urging me on my kids who been waiting with me were now grumpy and wanted to leave, so I said give me my 2bgs and we will leave, went to cashier and asked for a manager, radioed the managers and they were on break all of them at the same time. Saars has always been a great place to shop but if Auburn Washington Saars employees are unprofessional, uncompassionate, unruly, and down right mean, why should they sell the deep fry chicken, are you not supposed to be happy we buying it. I'm sure I will look for all places that have Saars review and post this I am so disappointed in Saars in Auburn, Washington.
