I couldn’t find something that I KNEW they had on display just a week earlier. Rhonda from the Deli department took time out of what she was doing to go above and beyond and find me exactly what I was looking for. Well deserved applause for her in a world where stuff like this is no longer common nobody wants to help anybody seems to be all smiling faces and helpful intuition from these guys at the auburn valley freddys! Keep up the good work guys and special thanks to Rhonda once again she deserves a raise or a bonus for sure quite helpful.

For it being in Auburn it's not a bad kept store. Pretty clean overall with very few things out of date as far as I have experienced. Mostly all of the employees are very friendly and hard at work. The cheese guy is also a delight and very helpful regardless of it's about cheese or not. Great job guys! The only thing that really bothers me is one of the doors for the cheese aisle has been broken for ages. There just isn't a door there so a lot of the cold air escapes and uses way more electricity than needed.

If you want to see how low trust, and dystopian auburn truly is, this is the store for you. Every can of soup, or single can of any drink here has a dent in it, which possibly allows bacteria to seep into the contents of the can. There are security measures everywhere that dont seem to really stop thieves, but only cause inconvenience to paying customers. They say this is for our safety, but its for their bottom line. Also they have a sign that says showing your receipt is required when exiting the store, which they have no right to do.also the prices in general are pretty bad or gamed ( meaning they are in agreement with other major grocers to fix specific price points), just go to winco, or wal mart if you want the dystopian experience but with lower prices.

Manger told me to "never show my face their again" after I showed up to pick up my at the time girlfriend after her shift was over. Was very disrespectful from start to finish. Not to mention some of the employees told me I wasn't allowed to buy certain things. Now this was a few years ago so may be different but I'd rather drive to a much more friendly Fred Mayer an hour away than go back to this one.

The Floral department is clean and the flowers are fresh. The floral arrangements are just BEAUTIFUL and elegant! Katherine provided great customer service too. This is going to be my go-to store for flowers from now on!

Besides security following me place has nice staff. FYI I haven't stolen anything since 4th grade when I got smacked for taking 'A' pistachio from the bulk bin at an IGA. You have plenty of real thieves. Stop wasting your time on me.

I always love to shop at Fred Meyer but I don’t like their Fred Meyer app and the digital coupons. It’s so confusing to get the good deal and some of the staff don’t even know how the app works. It took me 3 months and 20 or more Fred Meyer employees to help get this app working. However, I still need to check my receipt to make sure that I’m getting the deal that I came for. I wanted to get cherries for $1.99/ pound but I got charged $4.99/pound. I had to wait in line for 30 minutes at customer service to get $17 backTwo weeks ago, I told customer service that they need to install toilet paper holder in the women’s bathroom because the huge roll of toilet paper is constantly dropped on the floor. Today, I need to do my weekly grocery shopping and I used the women’s bathroom. Nothing change and I told the customer service that their toilet paper was very dirty and they need to install a toilet paper holder. The lady called someone to clean the women’s bathroom. I don’t know if she is confused or she doesn’t understand English that well. I even showed her the picture of the dirty roll of toilet paper and it was so disgusting that I used the toilet paper cover instead. I hope the manager of Fred Meyer would do something about it.

Out of most of the stuff. Must be the shortage, no tamoto, cucumber, kale, G onion, salads. As of Nov 30th Tuesday. The grocery guy wasn't friendly enough, night shift 650p.m.

They're checking receipts at the door now?! I just needed 1 pound of my favorite coffee beans. They were out of stock as were all the bulk coffee beans. The line for the self checkout was insanely long/slow and I was treated like a criminal suspect on my way out of the store.

Always room for improvement. Clerks friendly but put heavy on light while bagging, not the family feeling like pre Covid, oh well still beats Safeway

Recently noticed a consumable item that I had returned a month ago because the seal was broken was simply put back on the shelf. Confronted the grocery manager herself about it and she simply shrugged and said, and I quote, "it's the responsibility of the customer to check all items before purchasing." Gross. Zero sense of responsibility on the store's side to make sure items on their shelves won't make their customers sick. I'd suggest shopping just about anywhere else but if you have no choice but to shop here be extra vigilant and trust nothing. Check for seal breaks, check for tears or holes, and be sure to check expiration dates and best by dates as well, as, with the store manager's attitude, stock probably doesn't get rotated here either. They absolutely do not care if you get sick from their products here.Edit to update: this same grocery manager has apparently learned nothing, as just a couple days ago, she openly and loudly ridiculed me to a fellow coworker for asking for a new milk at checkout that wasn't leaking when I noticed the one I picked out had a slow, subtle leak that I missed. She also tried to gaslight me about it just being condensation, despite the liquid dripping from it being opaque white. Unbelievably childish and unprofessional, not to mention disgusting as I'm pretty sure she just put the leaking milk back on the shelf. I just want to buy non-spoiled, uncontaminated food, but apparently that's frowned upon here. Yikes.

Do not buy gift cards at Fred Meyer. They will not stand behind then and know that they are being tampered with, but continue to sell them anyway. Apparently, they put up a tiny printed sign to let you know they will not stand behind them. I was gifted a $500 gift card for Amazon purchased at Fred Meyer. It was activated before i even got it. It has been a year since I have been dealing with this now, and all they do is give me the run around trying to blame someone else. I showed them all the receipts and activation codes. Very poor customer service. Do not stand behind their products.

I live in senior apartments next door to this store. At least half the residents do not have cars. They rely on this store to get groceries and their medications. How do they treat these loyal customers? They install a fence, cutting off a direct and safe way to get to the store.I vote they should boycott the store.

Slightly overpriced but a really good alternative when you don't want to deal with the crowds or the lack of cashiers at Walmart.Consistent with the other locations you'll find all over and usually out of the same items at the same time - but what place isn't?Plan on seeing lots chain and brand items with few speciality ones, but it's obvious that they're part of a big group that controls it's prices and not so you get a good deal - but they do make billions over all their many locations. That money comes from you. So at least you know what you're getting.

I love the merchandise Fred Myers has, some of it though, like the clothing, unless it's 40% or 60% off is way overpriced. Great produce and selection of food. Relatively helpful staff, except when I slipped on some water on the floor and fell right on my butt, then everyone looked away. I was shocked! No one said a word or even offered to help me up or ANYTHING, and I'm 58 so a fall like that could put me out for a few days, which luckily it did not. I even talked about it out loud to my friend that was with me, and nothing, crickets. I know they say me fall cause I was only a few feet away from anyone there, and when we were leaving to do more shopping, THEN they all rushed over to the spot and mopped it. It was from the cashiers all the way to the exit. That was very disappointing. I called HR or the mgr or someone later on and told her what happened and there was no apolology or anything! So poorly handled it actually wasn't handled, I could have sued them, but I wasn't as badly hurt as I thought I would be the next day and after that, lucky for them. I've heard from former employees that management leaves a lot to be desired, and I'm pouring it a lot nicer than they did. Well it's not going to make me stop shopping there, but I also go to Winco and grocery outlet for the things I know are MUCH CHEAPER, because I'm far from rich and I can't afford to do all my shopping there, otherwise I would. 4 starts for the merch that they have.

I have been shopping here for too many years to count. I always find what I need it's usually well priced. The staff is always helpful and I love collecting the fuel points!

It's Fred Meyer, been the same since the 80s. Some people working there are very helpful, others are friendly but not as knowledgeable and of course there are always a few grumps. The prices are low, the quality is decent. So there are less grumps now. Friendly people on the whole. I wish something could be done about the amount of crime and felonious people, but I bet Fred Meyer wishes they could too.

This location now thinks they are Costco, but you're not paying a membership fee. Apparently security will now be asking to see your receipt before you leave - of course they don't have the time or manpower to ask everyone who leaves, just certain people.

The woman at the deli is very rude, who is packing chickens, when I asked, she said without politeness, I can’t hear you, speak louder and threw the chicken to me.

This was my second visit in 3 years. I am now disabled and I have to use an electric riding cart. When I first entered the store I didn't see any of the riding carts, but I did see a huge sign saying that the riding carts were in electronics. Again, my second visit in 3 years, so I had no clue where the electronics section was. So I hobbled over to the self checkout to ask the gentleman manning that. He pointed at the electronics section, which to a person who is able bodied, it wouldn't be an issue. So I again had to hobble over to where he pointed. When I made it over there, I had to give up my driver's license to use the riding cart while I was in the store. When I was done, I had to wait for an associate to escort me out to my vehicle so they could bring the cart back. The explanation was because people steal the carts... So I get the reasoning behind this. What I don't get is why there's not something or someone at the entrance to assist folks with mobility issues. So, Fred Meyers, here's my thoughts on a solution to this not so ADA friendly environment that you have created.Either have an associate stationed at all times at the entrances to radio over to where the riding carts are to bring one to the customer in need. Or, put in a bench for the disabled customer to sit, and install a bell/device that rings to where the carts are and an associate can bring one over to the customer. I also would recommend that you install signage that a disabled person could read and follow the directions on how to get said cart... Either of these suggestions would be appropriate and acceptable for the ADA.

Security is a little rude and definitely make their mind up on whether or not they think you should be watched before you even walk through the door. But Freddy's has everything one could need so I can't not shop there...convenience can make you do things you normally wouldn't otherwise

I had to get some clothes today so I went to Fred Meyer’s and everything was chained up every piece of clothing. Then there is a security guard at the front door just giving everybody the stink eye. I will never go back to Fred Meyer’s ever again not just this one.

I had a very weird interaction with a self check out employee today. I’ve spoken with this employee 5-6 times while shopping before, and I always felt that she was oddly aggressive and confrontational. Granted, I’ve never had an argument or so much as an unkind word spoken between us, but I could just tell she’s kind of a rude person.Anyway, I walked up to the self checkout with around $75 in groceries. In addition to the groceries, I had a can of white claw. When this lady (short, glasses, dark hair, not sure of ethnicity) came up to scan my ID, she takes my driver’s license and does a double take—except it wasn’t just a double take; she looks back and forth over and over again verifying the picture on my ID matches my face. I’m slightly annoyed at this, but whatever, she’s doing her job.Keep in mind, it’s really busy. She then proceeds, in front over 10-25 different people around me, to quiz me on the information on my ID. She made me answer what my eye color is, date of birth, address. After she asked me my address, I asked for my ID back and said that I would instead just like to leave.I’m a 32-year-old man, full beard, almost 6ft tall. Treating me as if I purchased a fake ID to buy a $3 white claw is absolutely ridiculous. I took a 15 minute drive to Covington and did my shopping there. I spoke to their manager via phone after—to which he apologized, but Jesus, the fact they’re employing someone like that says a lot.
