The prices here are super high, but that’s not exactly a surprise. There is a handy pharmacy inside as well as a Starbucks. You’ll find all the expected departments here: deli, bakery, produce, frozen food, drinks, etc. There is plenty of parking here and it’s easy to get in and out.

2 stars for having good produce. I worked 35 years and took care of my husband till he passed away. Retired I barely make ends meet. I get 139.00 foodstamps. I'm a American citizen and cashiers always make me feel more humiliated than I already do.

At around 4:30 pm on 3/2/24 I went through self checkout. I needed assistance and the young man that came to help me was very rude to me and just the way he talked to me was so disrespectful.Also even though the store had gotten rid of all the large garbage cans in the parking lot, the parking lot still looks awful. It looks so getto and there is garbage all over, flower beds are over grown and look awful. If I had another grocery store close to home I would be shopping there.

Store is conveniently located, clean, and has wonderful people working there. IMPOSSIBLE TO SHOP THERE! You have to have a Safeway card to get the prices posted. If you attach your phone number to that card (good luck) you cannot use that phone number to sign up for the on line shopping app, which you have to use to get any digital coupons posted. Digital coupons are everywhere in the store! Seems complicated? Oh it’s worse, there are 5 different Safeway apps to choose in the App Store, good luck finding the right one. I hate shopping at Walmart but at least the prices are posted and I don’t feel like I’m getting scammed!

The rotisserie chickens have consistently gotten smaller and more expensive. At this point they are a blatant rip off. $12 for a chicken that's half the size of the $5 Costco chickens.

The Safeway is doing a lot of remodeling so everything is kind of tight in there at the moment. However they had plenty of checkers today and that on the day before Christmas Eve is an excellent thing

A truly miserable shopping experience - crowded and expensive. Good luck finding anyone for assistance. The Albertsons corporation is one of the biggest rip-offs in America. They've completely ruined Safeway (and Haggen).

Typical Safeway but this store has the self checkout lanes back and that really helps with getting in and out. Very busy parking lot! Most employees are friendly and the store is getting expanded

It's OK. The store associates are friendly and helpful.The selection is limited for many items, the aisle tags are incorrect for several items (chilled beverages for example) and the self-checkout regularly requires "assistance" from store associates for mundane things (basic items not in the system, marked-down items not scanning, etc.)

Was treated horribly by Katie S. A cashier there. She was throwing the groceries towards my mother as she was trying to be nice and bag our own groceries because we got a lot of stuff. On top of that the cashier was talking about my mom with a manager making fun of her where she could hear. Very disappointing especially since safeway is our #1 grocery store. 😕

Poor customer service I WISH I COULD GIVE A ZERO!! I talked with kyle and he couldnt understand about prices in his store and disrespect for loyal customer 10+ years. Please don't Shop there go to smokey point better service and cheaper too. I and my family will no longer Shop at arlington safeway.Thanks E. Stop here for the deli sandwiches after half day of work on the weekend. My favorite is the Philly with chipotle ranch. I love the sandwich, only recommendation would be to grill the onions and peppers a little longer. The service is great and it’s a quick stop.

Very kind & helpful employees. This time I had to come in of course on Christmas because the pie we had ordered from somewhere else, had somehow sold the one we ordered! So, I knew that Safeway was open & their bakery is usually very good! I e ded up getting something completely different than what the original pie was, but my wife & I, sure are happy with this choice!Merry Christmas to everyone & Thank You to all the great employees at our local Arlington Safeway!

The food court area is super disappointing, poorly staffed, and undertrained. I walked up to order a sandwich and a gentleman was there working on something really simple and looked up at me then back down without acknowledging I was there asking me anything or saying anything at all really. I stood there for few minutes watching as he slowly did something and wasn’t even able to order anything cause he never acknowledged me and it took too much time. It should be in basic training to tell a customer who walks up “hi how are you how can I help you or hello there I’ll be right with you”?!

The employees are always so nice & helpful. But, I stopped specifically to get my husband some fried chicken to take home, & it was pretty bad. Cooked way to long the crust was hard, & had been kept warm to long,- dry & chewy.

They were out of the flavors of both the ice cream and the little round cheesecake that I went there specifically to get..... Not to mention they did not just run out.... They have been out for the better part of a week now.VERY DISAPPOINTING AND A HUGE LET DOWN 😮‍💨😒👎👎👎👎

I'm thankful for the Drive Up And Go service. Betty, in particular, provides fantastic customer service. My family has a limited diet which can make substitutions, etc tricky. Betty makes my life easier and is why I still shop at Safeway. The whole Drive Up crew does a great job.

One of the older ladies in the deli always acts like she is too busy to help me and seems annoyed when I need something. This is not a self serve deli or I would do it my self I don’t even like going to the deli because she acts like I’m bugging her.

The prices have literally doubled on some items since last week! I usually come to this location because it's close to home and I can only find my Cascade Ice Caffeinated waters at Safeways... But it's not worth it anymore. A few days ago I bought them for $1.19. Now they're $2.29. AT THE SAME LOCATION. I have also noticed extreme price hikes on things like Ratio Keto Yogurt ($1.99 now vs 1.39 elsewhere). They're charging per onion instead of per pound. I can get the same cart of groceries at WinCo for 40% less. I think I'll make a YouTube video to prove it... It sucks because I want to support local businesses but not if you're not even going to try to price reasonably. Amazon here I come. The savings on gas is not worth it if you're just going to charge for gas through our groceries. I understand inflation is real, but this is straight taking advantage. Enough is enough

Nice store layout. I don't like that they start stocking when they are still open. Back aisle is lined packed with pallets and workers are in every other aisle and don't care about social distancing or that you are shopping. They are trying to get their job done and aren't worried about anything else. The front cashier was very nice and helpful as is usually my experience here. Would be 5 stars if not for the late night stocking while still open.

Good service, great employees, usually always has what I am looking for, usually good parking available and clean, easy bathroom access in the front of the store!They are updating the store with adding a whole new section for online shopping! They now have like 10+ self checkout kiosks. And in the parking lot they have 2 new spots for car charging if you have a Tesla or another electric ⚡💡 car!

Clean, can get to a casher and checked out quickly, large selection that's reasonably priced. The main thing that I'd like to see more of is organic selection, but they have quite a bit of it. However I don't hold that against them. It's also nice that they have the ice machine at the front inside the store, easier for getting to my cooler for afterwards. One of my biggest gripes (and this isn't Safeway's fault) is getting to it is quite silly. I wish on the West side I could drive in, but alas that's not the case. I feel they're a good place to go in a pinch and I enjoy that because of my location, but I seldom do my main shopping there. Not because I think they're bad, just because I don't feel I can get exactly what I want (organics) but I feel it is good.

The pharmacy here is amazing. They did everything possible to help me get the medicine I needed for my 7-year-old when every other place I called was out of stock. They also rushed it so it was done before they went on lunch. Thank you
