I went out on a motorcycle ride, riding leg 4 of the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route and stopped in Ardenvoir, at Cooper's General Store. Which is also a bar and grill. The clerk was friendly and helpful. She had just opened up when I arrived and was still preparing for the day. I was able to order a burger and fries and get some gas for the motorcycle. It wasn't long and I had my food. The burger and fries were very good. I grabbed a drink from a cooler, settled my bill and off I went, a happy adventurer. I am glad I stopped in and had lunch.

An excellent burger with real fries! This is an old school road house with a small general store attached. Even though it was very busy with people heading out camping or other fun stuff, the lone employee managed to make me feel like a local. Delicious!

The best fresh cut french fries I've had in a long time. The BLT was pretty amazing as well. Basic bar menu with the staples and food specials once a week. If you're heading up the river for some outdoor fun, be sure to stop for a leisurely lunch.

A truly wonderful eclectic little stop on the way to or coming back from the woods! We're 10 miles down river, but make it a point to stop in from time to time. The food is good & beer cold; works for me.

This is the kind of quirky local bar we love to stumble upon! In the middle of nowhere, you get the look when you walk in because you are not a local, but then you sit down and before you know it - you could be a local. Half general store, and half bar & restaurant... a true local treasure. We had been out hiking and exploring and stopped here for a drink before heading back to camp. Minimal beer selection, but we didn't go thirsty! We didn't eat but there was definitely something on the menu we could have ordered if we were hungry. This gem sits in the middle of some of the most beautiful wilderness also, so it is worth a visit!

Our family has been coming here for hunting camp for more than 60 years. Knew the original Cooper. Now Darrell owns it and he has kept most the same stuff. And those burgers are a crave food! We will always keep stopping by here

For the location, you can’t ask for anything more. Solid gen store with decent food selection, but there is a beer/wine bar that serves good pub style food, the burger is great after a few days in the wilderness. Also on Thursday there is a large family style dinner that always leaves me full and happy.

A true hidden gem of the valley, the cafe was amazing. Fantastic people running the establishment, and the “Super duper Cooper Burger” was hands down the best burger I’ve had across all of Washington. Has a warm, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

I've been going here for years at the mid point of a motorcycle ride. The staff is friendly, the place has all the basics. There is a bar/restaurant as well. Gas is 87 only and it's an old school pump and pay inside type of place. In the past the gas was ethanol free, I didn't pay attention recently.

This is a great gas station! It's very cute with a very mild setting. I especially like the large book of hunting photos in the back of the store.

Our group took. Samurai trip over the backroads from Plain on Thanksgiving day. Went to Coopers for some much needed fuel and was pleasantly surprised they were open on Thanksgiving. Decided to stay for lunch. Very hospitable establishment. Good food and great selection of beer.

When you first walk in you can see that this store has been around for years, my guess built around 1950. The pictures on the wall of the little café tell the story of the area and it's really fascinating to look at. The service here was spectacular, and the Burgers here were amazing. It could use a little upgrade on the building but, after I met the folks who worked there the old building seemed to disappear.

We stopped by driving through to use the restrooms the owner was very nice and let us know he wasnt open yet but let us use the restrooms. The store is your typical mountain town gastation but they seem to have alot of different things to buy. Very nice people.

The store's in the bar... Or the bar's in the store. Either way... They're both open until they close. The burgers are great. The people are friendly. I really like stopping at Cooper's!

It's a gathering spot for locals and friendly to the areas visitors. The cafe serves food that tastes as good as the nice presentation when servedAnd it has an occasional special, usually on the weekend, aside from the usual fare.

Little store, with little to offer but didn't really over charge either. They do have what most campers might need. Also have a restaurant, although I didn't eat there.
