I can't rave enough about whistle vet. They have been amazing with both our dogs and cats through all stages of life. Dr. Beth and ALL of the staff were so helpful and sweet through our previous dog's mobility issues and end of life care. They left no questions unanswered and helped us through the most scary and unsure times as first time geriatric dog parents.They are so sweet and understanding with our sweet girl who is a nervous Nelly with vet visits. Always reassuring her and giving her lots of love and praise and helping her come out of her shell. Dr. Vage is an awesome addition and has helped us so much with our new baby dog. It's hard to trust people with what you hold closest to your heart but it's clear everyone who works here has compassion and a love for helping animals. Were so thankful for them!

Whistle has been my family vet for 6 years. When I got my own dog, I knew exactly where to go. They treat my animals with the utmost care, and Dr.Beth is one of my dog’s favorite people. All of the staff is awesome, their facility is clean, and they are always willing and able to answer any questions.The pricing of their services can be a surprise at first (fairly expensive) but the care you receive in return makes it VERY worth it.I will always recommend Whistle!

Extremely friendly staff and Dr.We wanted to get our dog established here in town after moving from Lynnwood. Super happy we chose Whistle! They are very thorough and will do everything they can to get your animal in when you are having an emergency. My dog is normally very nervous going new places but he was happy to meet the staff and give them plenty of licks.I would highly recommend Whistle to anyone looking for a new vet.

Echo (my dog) LOVES going to Whistle Vet. She knows she'll be treated with patience and kindness, with lots of belly rubs thrown in. Our dog recently contracted Kennel Cough. I got an appointment for a few days out, but Whistle moved up her appointment, which was so appreciated. They took appropriate precautions so they could examine her, but not pass it on to other dogs.

I’ve been to 4 other vets in Skagit Valley, and had almost given up hope until I found Whistle. They are kind, knowledgeable, and all around amazing at what they do. They listen, and take very good, serious care of my 3 kitties. They also accept carecredit which was an excellent option when finding out one of my cats has random idiopathic seizures, and I had to have multiple appointments within a short time frame. They always get me in quickly for any concerns. If I could rate them 10 stars instead of 5 I would.

I really think this veterinarian gets it right .Friendly customer service.Modern medical knowledge and equipt facilities to meet all your pets' needs.What I really admire and appreciate was that my dog was not put through any unnecessary tests, and that helps keep costs down for pet owners.Efficient staff.Very clean environment and waiting room.Providing a wide range of pet products you may need right there in the office.I am thankful for this vet service.

Edited 2024: This vet no longer exceeds our expectations and we have since moved in late 2023 due to the passive behaviors of the staff about 'not being a grooming salon' when my cat is senior, too aggressive to be seen by a groomer and needs to be knocked out and shaved down for her well being.-I really appreciate all that Whistle did for my cat. I'm new to the area, and the experience of going to new vets is always a hassle. With WVC, I felt welcomed, heard and respected despite I have a troublesome animal. I felt secure leaving her somewhere, despite past experiences at other vets. I was so pleased with her shave, I actually forgot to call the vet back and thank them for doing such a good job. On top of great care, they all wore masks, and kept 6 feet apart- even meeting me at my vehicle. I appreciate all Whistle did for me as a pet parent, and for my fussy, large cat, Alisha. We thank you so much for such fantastic care, expect us in the future.

They take great care of all three of my animals, which includes a geriatric dachshund. I drive over from Burlington and will continue to due so because of the level of care we receive.

Price for neutering a 1 1/2 yr. Old dachshund is tops for area. I am not used to vets' prices in this area. My other males and females cost less than 1/2 this price down in King County where I used to live. Shortage of holistic vets up here too.I Guess I am stuck for now but am going to move closer to my former vets. Human medical care up here is inferior compared to King County with better hospitals like Swedish and University Hosp. Among others. Real problem up here in Skagit County.

Saw Dr Elena for an initial visit for my new rescue. The exam was thorough and well done. She has a special way about her and my shy girl was comfortable with her and the assistant. The front desk staff are friendly and precise. Prices are reasonable and fair. I will definitely return.

Everyone was attentive and caring and gave my cat a lot of loving attention to make him feel more comfortable. Very impressed with doctor and staff. I was able to witness the high level customer service and kindess this practice promotes. I observed a staff member handling a difficult situation with incredible grace and patience. My 9 year old dog and I were new in town and had someone recommend Whistle Vet. We went for a routine check up and Dr. Elena and the vet techs were absolutely amazing. They were very kind and informative. I called their office after we had our first visit once with a question about my dog. The office was helpful and then later that day Dr. Elena even called me back to talk. The next day they called me back again to check in! They are very caring. The office is clean and friendly. We went back for a teeth cleaning and Dr. Elena did a perfect job. I can’t say enough good things about them, overall I think they are the best vet we’ve ever been to. Besides the excellent care, we just really liked the environment and professionalism/friendliness in general. They are very transparent/honest also. We will be going here for as long as we can! I would recommend them to anyone.

Wonderful vets. My dog loves Dr. Beth and most of her staff. The facility is always clean and there are almost no odors. We took our time finding a vet for our now 9 year puppy. He doesn’t like going anywhere! He does very well with Dr. Beth. Plus, everyone is so friendly and helpful. We are delighted with Whistle Vet. Clinic!

Every visit to the Whistle Veterinary clinic has been incredible. They are very kind and compassionate with my senior cats. They have been supportive and caring through the palliative care of their treatment - I would highly recommend them. The office is clean, organized, well-run. Appointments are prompt, and service is great. They have really helped to take the stress out of vet visits.

I am continually impressed with the vet service at Whistle Veterinary. The quality of care is extremely high, every staff member I’ve interacted with has been friendly towards me and caring towards my pets. The mobile app the facility uses is very helpful, I like being able to ask questions as I think of them over the weekend or at night. It’s also very helpful to remember when I scheduled appointments or to request a new appointment.The clinic has also done an excellent job with maintaining Covid regulations. The facility also looks extremely clean.I will say some of the services are slightly more costly than other facilities. But there is a reason for it. High standards for quality of care, professional staff, up to date technology. Well it may not be the budget option, you definitely get what you pay for.

Because of the pandemic precautions we have not even met the vet in person, but she called while we were waiting in our car to share info and answer questions. I could not have been happier with my visit. We were looking for a new vet for our dogs because we recently moved to Lopez Island. Being able to quickly get my pup (who'd had an emergency a few days before) in to see Dr. Beth was gratifying, and the thoughtful and considered treatment he received during his visit showed me we made the right choice. Our other dog will also be a client/patient. We are pleased and grateful to have found Whistle and have already recommended the clinic to other friends "on-island" needing veterinary services. I brought my pregnant dog in for prenatal X-rays to count her puppies. The counted 8 puppies. My dog actually had 12. That's a pretty big difference. Spent hundreds on misinformation. They offered an apology. Then I brought my newborn pups in to have their dewclaws removed. They missed one, so now that puppy needs surgery. They offered an apology. Then I tried to get my pups vaccinated, and they wouldn't schedule it on time. Again, they offered an apology. All I got was "sorry". I'm sorry I ever brought my dog there. One mistake after the other, with no resolution. Very, very unprofessional. I spent hundreds of dollars at Whistle and all I got was misinformation, an extra unnecessary surgery, unvaccinated puppies and an apology. Absolutely disgraceful.
