This is how I view this market.The store has a great selection for all of your needs from babies, pets, organic charcuterie, boards, dinner and more.You will find everything you need at the store. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Makes you feel very welcome.Allow time to browse as there is so much to see and enjoying the store.

One of two main grocery stores in town, the other being Safeway. The Market is definitely my favorite between the two. Clean, organized and I’m able to find some unique items that aren’t at major chains.The service has always been friendly, staff remember frequent customers, and good assortment. Their bakery does an amazing sourdough loaf, try the rosemary too. Yum.They also have great fried chicken and deli selection.

Nice market with nice deli selection.Wide range of melons available (the sign lists all the melon types).Convenient to marinas and center of town.And they have a 5% senior discount.

The only place I know of where you can refill shampoos, soaps, oils, and other products so one can stop using plastic containers. Use any container you like or purchase one from the store.The produce is very fresh and the selection of prime gourmet food is in abundance. Every time I go, I have been asked if I needed assistance with locating items or if looking for suggestions. Amazing service!

I question the praise this market receives.I have seen $12 loaves of bread, very expensive produce, and meat with odd descriptions and origins. The majority of space appears devoted to dollar store bric a brack. (I do not go to a grocer to buy a loofa.)--- that is why Safeway is always jam packed and the "Market" not so.

I went to the new coffee shop inside. It was a Turkish coffee shop and was very good. The gentleman was very nice he is only been opened for a few Weeks.

Came to Anacortes for the first time and checked out The Market. This is a really nice grocery store with tons of great options for food. The tea section was really cool with lots of options for loose leaf tea.

Great produce section, but they need more specials to compete with Safeway..Thanks to the Biden administration prices have had a tremendous increase and is hurting the majority of people. NOT THE POLITICIANS IN D.C OR THE 10%. WOW corn is not 4/$1.00 😡

The main place to shop for groceries in Anacortes. A great selection for everything you need. I always find too many things I "need" here. It is that good of a store! They are very good at cycling products on a regular basis, so everything is fresh. 5-STARS

We really liked this market! They had a great selection of items in their different departments including their bakery and deli. We bought a sub sandwich and a cinnamon bun as well as a specialty vodka that we had been looking all over the place for and they had it in their liquor selection.

Best produce, meat, and deli selections in Anacortes. The price of household staples might be high compared to Safeway. Everything is clean and cheery. The coupons, when they have them, are amazing. You can save 50% if you shop smart.

One of two larger grocery stores in town. Safeway is almost always packed, the market is usually a bit more chilled. Although their prices are a bit higher(maybe by like 5-10% or something), because it's a bit more premium. I personally will just always hit the market, because I don't want to deal with the circus at Safeway. At peak hours the self check is literally an aisle long, I honestly don't understand how people can stand it.

“The Market” is excellent! The products they carry are the not only the usual you would expect but an excellent selection of other harder to find items. The produce department is impressive too, it’s fresh, beautiful and offers an excellent selection of both organic and non-organic.Along side of that is a delicious array of fresh breads and cheeses which we appreciate.We also purchase our wine there. The wine department has the perfect selection, they offer an excellent choice of upper and lower end wines.The fresh fish and meat case always has fresh and delicious offerings and a delightful person to assist.Lastly, we appreciate shopping at a store that is always kept clean and keeps a friendly staff.Thanks to “The Market”!Debra and Mason

I prefer The Market to the other big store alternative.. Here they don't try to convert you into a cashier with those everywhere -now 'self-checkouts'!Produce is better as are the deli and meat departments !Often I hear that people feel this store is closer described as a 'specialty' store... I think more aligned with the Co-op or Whole Foods... Where as they do have many specialty items and organic products at very fair prices!So it does seem some things are a tad more expensive but overall if you are a good shopper--& grab their weekly ad --you will probably save money here and get better fresher foods over all...I only wish they didn't close so early but here at the busy times is like heaven to shop because they aren't way busy!

One of the best grocery store I've been to in a years and been rving across the nation so been to many stores and this is incredible shopping experience. Bring your soap bottles to refill from the large bottles with handy dispenser. The selections of fresh vegetables and fruit displays are enticing and one of the best salad bars; there even an olive bar. The bakery had so many delectable goodies to choose from. The store had everything that was needed and then some.

Make sure you check the expiration date on all items from this store. I have been coming to the market for years and to this day they have food for sale that expired a year ago. Also their frozen section is terrible. Everything is freezer burnt and covered in ice. The fact that they charge an arm and a leg for everything I would at least hope to get food that is still good. The produce section also is terrible… either not ripe at all or moldy. It’s very poor quality yet somehow they don’t feel bad charging people way more than other upscale stores. I always feel taken advantage of here
