I am not sure about the hardware store part of this business, but I had perhaps one of the worst retail service experiences of my life from the rental part of this business. Mike, whose last name I did not get and who I asssumed was the manager, was unfriendly and rude to the point of being insulting. I saw him treat an emplyee in the same manner. He didn't seem to care whether I did business with him or not. I cannot imagine how this business can afford to keep a guy like Mike around.

Wonderful, locally owned hardware store. It's a great place if you need help with a school project (we got help cutting pieces and getting parts for HS physics projects here), home improvements, yard projects, your RV or boat, canning goods, basic household items, or equipment rentals.

Always get excellent service from them. I needed something to fix a little hiccup in my room at the hotel so I got it there. Everything went smoothly with the purchase and parking. I never use their lot, just park down the street.

These guys are the best and always have the prices to beat ACE!! The only thing that stops it from being a 5 star is the guy filling propane needs an education on, well....FILLING PROPANE 😂 he seems to operate based on personal belief rather than current laws and actual protocols. All and all a great hardware store with good people.

I love Sebo's employees. They're always so happy and attentive. You don't have to go looking for them, they initiate. And they don't give up until they find what you need or an answer. I'm impressed at the variety of things that they carry. You can bring your dog too.

I'm incredibly happy with this particular store, every nook and cranny is stuffed with a wide variety of inventory, and the floor staff is both knowledgeable & helpful!This is a locally owned store, very well managed and operated, and priced appropriately, removing the temptation a certain Dutchman would normally have, to drive the extra 15 miles to Walmart, simply to save a few cents.A great hometown resource..!

Expert small gas engine service man. Carl the owner is always on staff and ready to help with what ever you need. One of the best small town hardware stores where you can get Personal service from the owner. Just like in the good ol days where the customer is first and treated like family

Awesome customer services, friendliness and i felt i was the only customer that day basis the attention i was given. I recommended them to a customer at another hardware store to purchase their lawn mower. Will return to Sebos though i live 13 miles from them. Thank you so much.

I went there for a gallon of paint. The cheapest gallon was $46+tax. When I tried to get some assistance I was ignored, by three separate employees. This was my second time shopping there. My first time was an even worse experience. I will not be making a third trip to give them my hard earned money. If you're not a local don't expect to be helped or even acknowledged, I felt like a lepper.

I love Sebo's, before I knew about them I'd just be going to Ace or West Marine to find what I need for the boat. Often neither place would have what I needed, once I found out about Sebo's this has been my go-to place. I will still go to Ace the first Saturday of the month for their discount that day but other than that I need to actually go to Sebo's.They have a great nuts, bolts, spacers, bearing balls, and many other parts section. Aisles can be a little narrow but allows more stuff which I like.They do have a tool rental department which I've never used but good to know in the event I need a one-time tool I don't already have. Not sure if they still do it right now but I know before COVID they had free popcorn. Prices were reasonable for most stuff. I'm glad I found them. One of the many unique stores that make Anacortes such a gem.Also want to say it is generally very easy to get help here unlike the big box stores.

I have lived in Skagit county for over 50 years. 3 years ago I moved to Anacortes. Since then I liked Sebo's and have spent according to my credit card over $2,000/year. Two weeks ago I went there for a few items. As I opened the front door and tried to enter, a staff member approached me with no mask on. I plan on wearing a mask indoors at public places until the local new case load is one a month or less. This staff member got right in my face, asking me what I needed. I politely backed away from him and said all I needed was more space between us. He angrily told me the mandates are over, and he didn't have to give me more space. He told me he wouldn't let me in unless I was willing to pass right next to him. His co-worker a woman, was wearing a mask and seemed shocked by his behavior. He continued to refuse me access unless I was willing to pass right next to him, so I turned around and left. I don't plan on ever shopping here again.

Polite , friendly staff. Store seems to be well stocked for all kinds of paint and paint supplies as well as carpet shampoo.. They are also cheaper than the other hardware store in town.

Small town hardware store. Great selection of stock. They make keys for your needs along with one of the best selections of fasteners in the area. They also have rental of tools and equipment. Another thing that they do is repair your tools when needed.

The new owners are dedicated to serving the community the same way the former owners always did, and are in the process of sprucing the place up and offering new ideas and products. A wonderful combination of vintage and modern!

bad customer service rude employeeasked why 3/8 vinyl tubing was marked at .41 cents a foot 1/4 $2.49the smaller tubing was on the top shelf not easy to reach or see small price details. employee did nor read or even look at the details on the price tag and said loudly when i asked why "THAS WHAT IT SAYS" then made some remarks about how the were not the same the same and 1/4 inch was always morefind out it is $2.49 per ten foot length at other storeslong time Anacortes customer and resident that wont be back to this store this is one reason on line retail is doing so well

Old fashioned hardware store. Seems to "have it all"... Just not sure where it may be. Make sure the register person checks prices against the latest sale mailer: sale prices not always updated in the data base!Help is readily available

I have lived in Anacortes for 3 years, and now have moved to Port Townsend. I was so thrilled to find that there is a Henery hardware store in Port Townsend as well! Same Owner, same excellent service, extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff every time I have gone there (for a variety of different needs). Thank you Sebo's for everything! The layout feels hodge-podge, but they do have a little of everything, and it was a good place to get wild bird food. Friendly staff. On par with the Ace across the street. Also good for equipment rentals - we rented lawn aeration for a couple of hours and did it ourselves instead of paying landscapers 3 times as much.

Nice variety of supplies, friendly staff, nice little $1-$5 aisle near cashier. A little spendy on their prices but not by much, but for shopping locally and convenience it's a nice place to shop.
