Visited Rite Aid for my vaccines and although I had to wait an extra 30 minutes past my appointment time, the experience was still pleasant. The staff was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, putting me at ease. Highly recommend for your healthcare needs.

One of the older pharmacists clearly hates people. I don't think somebody like that should be handling other people's medication. She was shockingly rude on multiple occasions.

This was a five star pharmacy. It was well staffed, medications were ready on time, there was appropriate communication if there were issues, and the staff were friendly, even jovial. I miss that Rite Aid Pharmacy experience. They no longer have a drive thru staffed so all customers must go into the store. This causes longer lines in store and longer waits. For the past few months, all the waiting in line has ended with (the first wait) being told the medications are not ready despite the automated system stating they were or would be. There is a definite lack of communication regarding when medications are not ready or available whatsoever. There is a perceived lack of regard from staff about medications not being available all while they have a sign asking for patience/grace due to their staffing...compassion should be going both ways. Are they just tired of apologizing repeatedly? Perhaps. Staffing appears to be an issue here so not the employee's fault at all for many of my complaints.

The employee was nice, but I just spent ten minutes waiting for one person to check out and she was still going. I just left the stuff on the counter. Please take care of customers. The lady was up there just talking nonsense about the transaction, just talking in circles while I waited there.Edit: there's no baking soda either lol. The employee sent me to two isles, there was no baking soda, I came back to check out and was stuck for ten minutes before I have up and left. #@@@!?#!

This Rite Aide store in Anacortes on Commercial Avenue was clean and well stocked as usual. I was able too pick up my prescription easily and some beer as well at a competitive price.

Absolutely awful experience. I would give zero stars if I could. What a dramatic change from a few years ago when the pharmacists were knowledgeable and polite and when the pharmacy techs were courteous and educated. Now there is just disrespectful attitude and abhorrent customer service. Complete disregard for every single aspect of client care.

Rite Aid has been my family's pharmacy for the past 10 years. They served us decently through that time. The last couple of days the pharmacy has been difficult to reach over the phone for my wife's prescription refill, menopause medication. When I finally got ahold of Rite Aid they refused to refill and also refused to provide an emergency dose. So now my wife must suffer withdrawal symptoms. The receptionist sympathized but her hands were tied. I can't have this. It may be time to find another pharmacy.

Choose a different pharmacy. Save yourself a ton of hassle. I only put one star because you have to in order to write a review. This pharmacy once was great. Great customer service, Prescriptions were filled in a timely manner followed by a text message to inform me that I can pick up my medication. Those days are LONG GONE! The entire staff has changed as well as the customer service. For at least the last 5 months something has gone wrong with the refill process which I do not understand how that is possible since All my meds are on auto refill. I get a text telling me my meds are ready, I show up and they are not ready, or they tell me it’s a duplicate order and they can’t fill it, again they are on auto refill so no duplicate is possible. This has happened every month for at least the last 5 months! I will be using a different pharmacy from now on.

It saddens me to Raye Rite Aid so low. It shows how the employee's are when you hear the pharmacist talking to each other saying this is the worse store to be at. The customer service is awful, they aren't friendly and don't really care to help you. They take for ever to fill the prescription telling you that they are short and will fill it the next day, two days later still no text saying completed. You have to call several times before any one will answer the phone. Sorry to say considering to leave and go to another pharmacy.

I don’t give a 1 star to rid aid or any other pharmacy employees besides the female pharmacist. I can’t remember her name but she was really rude to both me and my mom. I recently just got prescriptions and have been filling them. this is my second time and she tried to tell my mom it was $30 when it should be $11 to $14. She was rude, cut her off, did not let her speak. to the point where my mom got frustrated. I then went back myself to talk to the pharmacist and she claimed my mom was the one being rude. She then cut me off, told me i had two prescriptions when i only have one. Then found it came down to the $11. When if im being honest i shouldn't have to pay anything but for some reason they are now having problems with my insurance when they’ve used it before. overall she was rude, aggressive, and non helpful. i will not and would not recommend to speak with her ever. I love everyone else and have never had a bad experience with anyone else in the pharmacy.

I had to drive 45 minutes to Anacortes from Oak Harbor because the Oak Harbor Pharmacist refused to fill my prescription.The Anacortes pharmacy staff was not only helpful in filling the meds for me quickly, but they were very kind and compassionate.

I came in to pick up a refill on my partners prescription and had the displeasure of interacting with Mandee. Who was incredibly rude, had a terrible attitude AND was not respectful of our HIPPAA rights. My partner has used rite aid for many years but this interaction was negative enough that we will wholeheartedly be going through a different pharmacy. I can not express my disappointment enough.

My wife's doctor called in a prescription for antibiotics and pain meds for her to take post-surgery. Several hours after the prescription had been called in, I went to the pharmacy to pick up the meds. I waited for 25 minutes in the queue, only to be told they hadn't gotten to it yet, come back in an hour or two. I made it clear this was fairly urgent due to the surgical pain and potential for infection.I came back 2 hours later, had a long wait again, and once again, the prescription hadn't been filled. The pharmacy was scheduled to close in a half hour, and I was told there was no way they could get it to me tonight. I had them transfer the prescription to the Mt. Vernon Rite Aid, which was open for 2 hours longer. I drove out there and found that they had the antibiotics ready but not the pain meds, because the pharmacist at the Anacortes store hadn't provided the proper controlled-substances approval. So my wife had to just deal with the post-surgical pain with Tylenol overnight. The next morning I was able to contact the surgeon, who called in a new prescription to the MV store, and we were finally able to get the medication.We've never had such an inability to get critical medications from a pharmacy. We've used Rite Aid for many years, but this is it for us, we'll never use Rite Aid pharmacies again.

Pharmacy hours suck and are inconvenient, I live in the islands and I am not able to get my medications there so unfortunately I tried to get them at this rite aid. The person I spoke to on the phone was a little rude when I needed clarification on a miscommunication (on their end) about me giving them some piece of information. I would not recommend getting medications here unless you really have to.Their store also sucks, the local walgreens has such a better selection of everything. I will be trying to switch my prescription to there.Edit:So it turns out when they said they needed my insurance information it turns out they actually did need it, when I called the person said they already had my information but when I had someone pick up my prescription for me they had to pay because the person I spoke to was wrong.

Rite aid gave me a rx my Dr never perscribed and it was a rx sedative that with all my med issues and prescriptions I have to take including strong opoids, 2 different muscle relaxers as well as a number of others as well as more than twice what they consider severe sleep apnea So it verywell could have killed me and to top it off nobody had even bothered to contact me after. I guess they are simply hoping it was swept under their rug. I guess I will have to take care of it myself.. edpecially since they had absolutely no concern for my health and well being.

I rarely take the time to go online and leave a review, but this pharmacy is THE WORST. its not their fault that they are understaffed, but they are extremely rude, short answered, and borderline angry if you dare to call them with a question. i have been hung up on several times, and walked away from mid sentence in the store. will be transferring all of my stuff to walgreens, and ive been with rite aid for like 15 years.

I was very disappointed to not see Garrett on my last visit only to found out he was terminated. I only know him from Rite Aid and would like to state this was a very poor choice on your end. He has always been super polite and helpful. No one has ever been as helpful as he has been and I would highly reconsider the termination. I might have to change where I choose to shop as I seriously doubt such a wonderful person like Garrett would deserve being terminated.

Tired too use this store again since my dad likes it but when I called in to get some essential items and asked for GARRETT to set my usual at the front if the store I was told he was fired. I don't understand why they would fire someone who went above and beyond for their customers but me and my family will be longer be shopping there and telling our friends what they did to Garrett. No money from us until he returns.#bringgarrettback.

After the Walgreens pharmacy refused to fill my husband's post-surgery prescription, I came here and the pharmacist was super helpful. I've always loved this store. They also have always had school supplies no one else in town has. Great store!

my doc told me he'd sent in a script here, which I approached the pharmacy about 15 min till close to grab, where the lady (whom was very zombie-like and unfriendly, btw) told they didn't have one for me. I then called my doc and left a message while I waited in line to buy some toilet paper. As I was leaving the establishment my doctor told me he'd sent it in again so I walked back to the pharmacy and found they must have just closed the place down as it was 6:02. I knocked on the door and wiggled the handle to see if it was open, to which I figured I could pop my head in to ask if there was anything I could do. (I thought it was a waiting room-they type they have at safeway).A guy came out and I explained what happened and he took my info and (thankfully) went to fill the script. After a while we went to the front so I could purchase it and I found that it was twice the amount my doctor said it would be, and that the coupon couldn't be applied at that time. I said thank you so much for trying to help but I didn't want to have to pay twice as much just to get it today.The man proceeded to sternly tell me about 5 different times that he would never stay open late for me again, (this was the first time I've ever been there- by the way), and that he could have called the cops because I 'tried to break into a pharmacy', (by wiggling the door handle, of what I thought was a waiting room, on a door I didn't see a sign on to not open- to be fair, there may have been one). He coldly reiterated my arrest-ability again as I was walking out the door. If I wanted to break into a pharmacy- especially after hours- I'd think I'd have to do more than simply flip the handle to the entry of it? Maybe I'm wrong.I feel torn about this experience, on one hand dude did me a solid to stay a little later to help me out, and at the same time he was completely unfriendly and seemed to think I had nefarious intentions just because I briefly wiggled a door handle to what I thought was a waiting room. (I didn't know trying to open doors could be illegal). Sorry to said dude if he felt threatened by my tiny self seeking a prescription so I wouldn't have to come back a different day 2 minutes after the place was closed. (I didn't know when the place closed before I came, I would have come earlier if I'd known)I don't know how difficult being a pharmacist is but maybe rite aid needs to pay these people better because they just seem rather miserable, but what do I know.

None of the staff at the pharmacy are friendly there,... I’m basically a spillover from Safeway since it’s always a zoo over at that store, but yeah, who wants to shop at Trite Aid? There is nothing sexy about this business, and nice try with that logo makeover, changing the colors from red, white, and blue to an earthly blue and green. Why don’t you try cleaning from within next time? Totally unimpressed. It seems like poverty lives at your store.

used to take 15 mins to do refills now it's over an hour wait! one time they even refilled a script with the wrong medication and lucky I caught it or they would have overdosed me! They put the same medication in 2 bottles I was lucky to see they were the same before taking them. I was told I could pick up my scripts a day or 2 early over the phone cause I was heading out a town and when I got down there they said they never said that but clearly told me on the phone I could and to come down and set it up to be picked up. Seems like some of the new staff has no clue what they are doing at all!

I went to pick up my prescription, dropped it off at the drive thru because I have a broken leg/ankle/foot. When I went to pick up my prescription at the drive thru window the man who was working told me I had to come in to get me medication. I told him that my leg was broken and he very rudely told told me it didn’t “matter” and I had to come in. So in I crutched, not sure what the point in a drive thru is if you can’t use it. Usually I would go to Walgreens (I have never had a problem dropping off/picking up the same medication at the drive thru) but they just stopped accepting my insurance plan. I will be going to Safeway or elsewhere form now on. I suggest that you use Walgreens in town if you need to pick up your medication in a drive thru. I will not be giving any business to Rite Aid in the future.

This is our go to pharmacy and drug store. Pharmacy is always very helpful and efficient. Front of store people are very courteous. The store is usually clean and well stocked. No complaints.

Went there 5 min before closing to find LED candles. Mary helped us not only find them but checked each one prior to us purchasing to ensure batteries were good and they worked.Thank You Mary.

Constantly understaffed. Have stopped answering phones so have to drive down and wait in long line just to ask questions. I waited in line an hour to be told not ready when assured several hrs earlier it would be. I happily recently switched.

Went in here today, saw two men without their masks on, and the store did nothing. Six employee's standing there and staring, not a word. If I get sick I can't work.
