We have stayed here many times and booked our site based on what is available. Now they have implemented a $20 additional fee to “lock in” the site that you already selected when making the reservation. Also, they never answer the phone.

Great place for short or long term stay.Rates are very reasonable.Office Staff are very helpful and considerate and they treat you like family.Even though they are very close to Hwy-20 it is a very quiet place to stayDefinitely a go to RV Resort if you are coming to the area. Easy in, Easy out regardless the size of your RV.Downtown is very close and if you just want to park and not drive you can walk or there is at least one dedicated Uber operated by Viking Rideshare or taxi service operated by Mert's Taxi. Both have reasonable rates.Lyft is almost non existent in Anacortes.Fidalgo Bay RV Resort is nearby to both the San Juan Ferry and Anacortes Airport, it is also nearby to great food & drinking establishments, my favorite is Anthony's Home Port for Seafood and Real Tequila Restaurant & Bar for Mexican food. There are also a number of great bistros and coffee shops in town and lots of neat shops to check out.On a side note and for me it was no big deal but in the winter months the lower RV spots can get a bit soft and muddy in the grassy areas but not worth deducting any points for their overall rating. The other note is they are K9 friendly. The workout room is clean and well maintained and their TV and game room is cozy and nice, both with a beach front view of Fidalgo Bay.

I stayed here and because the spot was so small I had to park my truck in the over flow parking lot. Which was fine but the little old security guy when I pulled in after work one night was super rude and swung open my door super hard to the point I was gonna be super rude back, but I decided to be above that since I had a week left to stay here. I checked in late and checked in over the phone the next day. There was no packet waiting with directions and no parking pass waiting like at other rv resorts. When I called to pay I wasn’t told about a parking pass but the old security guard sure thought I should have known about it with his oversized head attitude. If a pass is required before you send out ranger rick please provide said pass.

I stayed in the RV resort. I had a pull forward spot right on the bay. It was just spectacular. Easy in and out for big rigs. Very well kept. Check in was simple and the lady helping me was super pleasant and helpful.I would definitely return here for a longer stay!

Park was in a great location and the ladies in the office could not have been nicer. The bad parts: the speed limit is 3.5 mph, but most people drove thru at closer to 15 mph; sites were so tight, my neighbor actually moved my picnic table so he could fit his unit on his site as his slides overhung our table; they advertise wifi, but you can forget that, it does not even show up as an option most of the time. The cable does work with around 15 channels. I would stay again, but would make sure I was not is site 172, as it is too small and too narrow.

We arrived on a bumpy road that we wished had taken us further on Hwy 20 (kind of backtracking) to enter the same way as you exit. The resort is kind of in a business area (industrial, boats). But lots of water around.Check-in was easy (pre-registered) and finding the spot too. It's gravel, no cement pads, pretty level. There is grass and a picnic table. It's a tight spot. Our trailer is a Grand Design 2018 2950RL (32ishFt). We were in spot #25 (38ft, no room for our truck, but we did get a parking pass) and it backed up to a public walking trail (really was no problem). If you have bikes, take them to go riding. Did not use the laundry facility. Needed to wash my hands after closing up the trailer so used the bathroom (showers too) and it was nicely updated and very clean. It was quiet, except for the families with kiddos playing (close to the little park/play area) and some freeway noise, but I didn't let that bother me. But I'm an Ooma, so I love the sounds of kiddos playing outside. And it was only for a couple days.We drove one day over to Deception pass (20 minutes) and showed the dogs the beach area...that was hard to leave. There are some awesome views, so highly recommend you drive to see.We did purchase a license at the local Ace Hardware so we could Clam (our 1st time). The resort gives you a permit. Brought our clam rakes, buckets & gloves. Steamed them for dinner, and oh yum. What fun!! We missed hearing the jets other reviewers talked about, but did see 1 on our last day fly by. Way.up.high. Love the sound of freedom.

Very nice RV Park on the waterfront of Fidalgo Bay. Great facilities, the hookups are solid and the view is fantastic. Sounds strange perhaps, but the refinery across the water is beautiful at night. Harbor seals frolic in the water and gorgeous birds are everywhere. One of the nicest parks in the area.

Space kinda tight. No room for our truck so you park in over flow parking. Road noise. View is not impressive. People are nice. Staff are great. Clamming is excellent.Noteworthy details: Close to town and shopping. Bike friendly walking trail.

Wow, this place is beautiful. (Yes, there is an oil refinery across the bay, but you get used to it and it doesn’t smell)Clean bathrooms, free showers and a great walking and bike trail run right through the resort. It’s one of our favorite places to visit and enjoy the herons, seals and bald eagles. All ages seem to be having a great time here.

I really wanna give them 5 stars but the rv site we were in was so small our rv barely fit let alone our vehicle which we had to park 2 blocks away in an over flow parking lot and then we also couldn’t access the restrooms the entire time we stayed there for 5days I think we got I. There 1 time becuz the door was left openRooms: This place is an rv park so they don’t have rooms maybe they’ve got cabins for rent but I wasn’t aware ofWalkability: This place is rite on the water so if you like to walk the beach or wanna put your boat in the water they’ve got a boat launch.

I did appreciate that they had a space available, and it was quite cool there even for summer. It depends what you want. They have many amenities and some activities, and there is a good walking trail. If you want to socialize, everyone is pretty crammed in and close by, plus there are picnic tables at a club building at the water. There is a short rocky beach to walk, although you will be walking in front of a row of motor homes sites. There are grassy areas to walk. There were a few things I didn’t care for: I’m pretty sure the gal told me we were on the water, which we weren’t. Maybe I misheard her. Most if not all of the sites have not provided a place to put down your outside rug, and you can’t put it on their brown, mostly dead grass. Additionally, you can only put your dog fenced in pen on the gravel, which is where you park your car. At the prices they are charging, I’d advise they actually create an appropriate space for each site for an outdoor mat and the ability to put dog pen on top of mat so you can actually be with your dog in your outdoor living space. Of course in most sites you will just be looking at the side of someone’s rig and their hookups. At any rate, I will stick with state parks, many with full or partial hookups, with lovely spacious sites in nature that cost less, and are reservable. Most RV parks, including this one, just aren’t worth the extra money for me. Like I said, it depends what you want. Sorry Fidalgo Bay, not my cup of tea.

The road to get to the park is rough and narrow. The parking for arriving rigs is beyond the turn where most people will be going so you have to either know to stop short of where they want you to pull up to or make a circle through the back of the park. The sewer connections are interesting also, you remove the cover and simply lay the end of your sewer line in the opening so there is no seal of any kind. The spots are packed together but our pull through was long enough for our long bed, 30ft trailer, and car to fit. Definitely not the worst park we've ever been in but I wouldn't brag to anyone about this place either

Very nice rv park. Lots of accommodations from workout room to kiddie play area. Bathrooms were very nice and clean. Heaters, showers, in his shape.Lots of dogs there. Sites are very close to each other and no firepits. But you can bring your own.

We spent 3 nights here during early April. The weather was awful day 1 and 2, with gale force winds. The resort has some protection from the wind, so although the wind was rocking our motor home there was no tipping over threat. The bathrooms are heated and handicapped accessible. Each restroom has a private toilet, shower and sink. The resort is adjacent to the Tommy Thompson trail, so bikers, runners and walkers can take advantage of the paved trail. Beware of broken shells (from the birds) along the trail, they could cause tire damage. The view is great except for the 2 refineries across the bay. We saw eagles, egrets and loons.

We rented one of the lovely, modern, very clean cabins. We have been delighted with our stay. We have been so warm and cozy on a very blustery couple of fall days. The little fireplace makes it even more comfortable. Thank you Fidalgo Bay Resort for helping us celebrate our 47 years of marriage. We will be back!

Staff are very friendly. The park and sites are clean. Great place for walking the dog. The reason I didn't give them a 5-star is the sites are extremely tight. I couldn't my awning out when my neighbors pulled in.

Overall, quite enjoyable! Being right on the water made it both quiet and cool. Pads were level and park is clean. The only down side was no privacy between spaces! We were one tiny pop-up trailer amongst all kinds of HUGE RVs.

We have a 40 foot motor home. Staying in a waterfront site is pure relaxation. Office Staff is the best. Love coming back every year.Walkability: Tommy Thompson trail takes you into town. Wonderful walk of biking.
