Horrible place to buy food. The meat is always old and usually double tagged and expired. The produce is well past it prime. They don't follow hold times on the fresh deli food and will leave it sit all day in the hot cases. The prices are outrageous and if the food isn't expired it's close to it. The owners are not good to their employees or the local community.

This is the cutest little store and they have Excepional customer freindly employees.i love to go here because they have. A wide veriaty of stuff for sale and their prices are reasonable .such a fun store

Easy to find either going to St. Helens or coming back. The food they fix here is really good! The chicken is great and their potato wedges are really good and massive. The staff is extremely nice:) I’ll definitely stop here again for some more food:)

PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE SHOPPING HERE.Unsanitary, Grey meats on aisle 5 that seem to never get thrown out. Expired Products even in the hot case on occasions when new ownership refuses to throw away, Re-frozen ice cream, Freezers being shut on and off when not supposed to (Aisle 5 has moisture build up on mirrors above meat section after freezer has been shut on and off.) Refrigerator located next to hot case has relabeled dates as I bought a egg sandwich that was a week expired but date was relabled as well as all the food in that fridage being expired. The boss balwindur has cussed out my mother who was previously employed here and has also slapped easter eggs out her hand on easter. Would 100% definitely not support this business as the owners consistently discrimate towards it women employees.They lie about upholding strict work policies.

Expired ice cream, expired canned goods, over charging on items, charging for items not even purchased, questionable cleanliness and food handling safety concerns, expired meat… this place is sad. There is a huge community at LMCH in Amboy and the word is spreading fast to steer clear of this market. It’s very hard to support our local community when the owners don’t care about the community they are serving.

It was convenient, but expensive. A fair number of products to choose from, usually will save us from a trip all the way into Battle Ground, so it's worth the expense. Rarely a line, clerks are pleasant and helpful.

Typical general market but you've got to try their hot food deli. Those jojo's and the chicken... Whoa. Biggest drumstick I've ever had. Mmm. They have really good food.

Overpriced items, the ice cream is always freezer burned as if it has been sitting out and refrozen. The meat section should honestly be inspected. I’ve never been to a place with so much grey meat that should be thrown out. The dry products taste old as well. We bought some packaged cookies and everyone in my family said they tasted stale. This place five years ago used to be great, they had the real crispy crunchy chicken and they took care of the store. These days it feels as though they are just trying to make money with overpriced poor quality items.

Love the convenience of a small grocery market in my small town. All the essentials, including delicious hot food and alcohol (beer, wine, and liquor). Great for those days when I don't really want to go all the way into Battle Ground for just a few items.

Restrooms No, they use outhouses in middle of parking lot in rear nor to clean.They have everything a large food store would carry. Including fresh hot food- chicken on a stick, Burritos 🌯, Hot Dogs 🌭, Corn Dogs, Pizza Rolls, Jo' Jo's, Chicken, many more items to order. Plus other items too.The cashiers are okay does their jobs correct expect 1 lady she kept running to the other cashiers causing customers to get upset and walk out- leaving there items there. So they lost business 🤔 We counted 6 different sets of customers and myself to left.

Stop here before going on past Amboy. chelatchee prairie store you will pay $3 more per item you get.decent prices. Has propane a small deli and everything you're going to need. Great customer satisfactory

This place had great prices, great items, and great service. I can always find what I want and need here, and its really easy to navigate if you've been there a few times. They have all sorts of things for less than half the average price! Its cool that they have propane tanks here. They have a port-a-potty but no genuine restroom. I love the variety they have here, basically if you want it, they got it. The only thing they don't have is electronics...

Very cute little store with nice people working there. They have a nice variety of items. Hot prepared foods, some veggie plants and your regular soda and chips. Not a full sized grocery store, but bigger than a 7-11. From what I saw, the prices went overblown. Prices were much like in town or city prices.

Just an overpriced, oversized convenience store. Sure can't afford to do any real grocery shopping here.The place was sold a few years ago. Now owned by somerag head camel jockeys. Beleive it or not it's now even worst than before. Most local won't even go in the place anymore.

A very nice little market. They carry a wide range of products from gluten free and organic to deep fried and sweet. Great beer cave, a hidden gem of a meat department and the friendly staff makes this a regular stop for me.

First time there. Had well stocked soft drink and beer coolers, seemed to be well stocked for groceries. Deli looked good. Carried firewood and propane. Parking lot appeared large enough to handle several RVs.

Since they changed hands things have gone downhill. It's been our local grocery store for a very long time. Consistent, and nice people. So, after being treated like I'm in the way when I shop now is very discouraging. No manners, or signs of appreciation for shopping there anymore. The local people are what keeps it going. But, even the Employees that are left aren't happy anymore. So, hard as it is I'll drive into Battleground to shop now.

I just love Amboy and this little store. Need auto oil? ✓ Need a toatoe? ✓ Need nuts & bolts? cigarettes? adult beverage? fried chicken? Cereal? a Redbox movie? ✓ they pretty much have absolutely everything and they are so friendly there too! I just moved out here from Hazel Dell best decision ever!! because of that little town & its store!

This place has new owners as of few years ago. Not only are the prices nearly double, but gray colored meats. Very old over priced produce. Do yourself a favor and shop in battleground before you go to Lake Merwin.
