I was looking for an affordable motel for an upcoming Girls Weekend and came across this place located at the beginning of the North Shore Road. We ended up getting an upgrade and stayed in the two bedroom cottage and it was absolutely amazing!! One bedroom had twin sized bunk beds and a foosball table! There was just one TV in the main living area, but it was a Roku TV, and there was also a DVD player with a bunch of random DVDs with genres ranging from kids& family to action movies. There were a bunch of games for kids to play and a few for the adults as well. My friends and I played the 80s & 90s trivia game after a day full of hiking. There is a little grocery store right in front of the motel that has everything that you could ever need, and since the cottage has a full kitchen, we could’ve grabbed some groceries and cooked all our meals. It’s about a 5-10 minute drive to the restaurants and walking trails along the South Shore road, which really isn’t that bad.We decided to take the drive around the lake and started on North Shore Road. It’s paved but it also is not paved for a big portion of the road. The non paved portion turns into a pretty winding one lane road with a drop off on the right side of your vehicle, so be very careful. Luckily we only passed one car up there and they did stop for us so we could get by. Once you get to the north side of the lake, you cross a bridge and will head down South Shore Road where there are a lot more people and cars that will take up the entire road and go at faster than posted speed limits. All in all, a great little motel that definitely served my needs. If you’re planning on staying a few nights, I would suggest booking the cottage if it’s available!!

Dated, pet-friendly spot along the Quinault Rainforest Loop. Great service, low pet fee, and better rates than the rest of the peninsula. Room had full mini fridge, so we were able to refreeze our ice packs for the next drive. No AC, but a fan in the window brought in cool air to sleep comfortably. The interior is aged, but well kept. Super quiet area. No vacancy the night we stayed, but we didn’t see another guest. Would stay again and recommend for those with pets.

As part of our cycling trip, we stayed at the Lake Quinault Inn. The room was clean, simple and met our needs. The woman who manages the front desk was friendly and welcoming. There is a general store next door to the motel which sells basic groceries, beer & wine, and some hardware supplies.I’m reviewing this as a budget motel and not a luxury property which is why I’m giving it higher than average reviews - it is not the Ritz Carlton.

We were traveling with our small dog and all the other rooms in the area were either booked or did not take pets. The rooms were modest but had all we needed; fridge, microwave, TV (which we rarely used since we were out hiking most of the time). I especially noticed how everything was exceptionally clean. The price was extremely reasonable and the manager was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Not very clean, the bed sagged and slipped towards the middle and the room was frigid when we got into it. The floor was sticky and under the bed had probably never been cleaned. The coffee pot had not been cleaned either and I had to clean it before it could be used. The batteries in the smoke detector had also been removed so thank goodness that was actually not needed. It was nice that there was a fridge and microwave but would not stay here again.

A little disappointed with this stay. We had read some good reviews and figured this would be a safe choice for us as it was close to many of the places we wanted to visit on our road trip. The rooms we had seen online had looked fairly nice. Unfortunately, the room we stayed in was not newly remodeled like the one on the website. It was older, a bit outdated, the paint was peeling, it did not have hardwood floors like the pictures and it had a horrible smell coming from the bathroom that permeated the rest of the room. There is no air conditioning and we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the windows open when we slept, so it was a bit muggy and super stinky at night. I am giving 3 stars because of its more central location but also because the lady at the front desk was super nice and very helpful in checking us in and answering our questions. Other than that, we would not stay here again.

Staff was super friendly and helpful (5 stars for her)! It's in desperate need of updating. The photo online looked like it had been updated but it must have been just one of the rooms. Room smelled like weed, smell was really coming from the bathroom. Location was very convenient to the lake and surrounding hikes. Fans were provided which was nice to have air flow.

The manager is very friendly but the office Chihuahua possibly has other ideas. The rooms are simple and tidy. There’s no porch with a majestic view, but you’re not paying for that. You can drive a few minutes to views. There’s a market out front but no restaurant nearby. You can drive to food. Most importantly, your dog is welcome here and nowhere else around. That’s good enough reason to stay here. .

Our goal was to be outside hiking the trails around the lake and beach combing. Ruby Beach is 45min drive, you can stop at other beaches and picnic sites along the way.We only showered and slept there and for that, the price is right. The rooms were clean, we used the fridge and coffee maker. They have flat screen TV, we didn't turn it on, but looked like they had plenty of channels to watch. They have tables and chairs outside in the community grassy area. Safe and friendly people place. There's a store right next door, very convenient, the owner has everything imaginable in there, stacked to the ceiling, just like the hardware stores in Asia but with food too.

From check in the staff have been pleasant and friendly! We did not realize that we booked the suite but it was big enough for at least 6 people. Also the additional features and free wifi could not be appreciated more.We ended up needing another day and booked a single room which was the ideal size for a couple.Cleanliness 10/10Friendliness 10/10Location 10/10Time we had here 11/10

Checked into this hotel for a night near Lake Quinault. During my stay, the room had a foul odor and the satellite TV was not working until reported to the owner which was fixed promptly within an hour. As my family and I were leaving we were informed that there had been a skunk that sprayed under the room. The bed was not as soft to my liking although that is not something I'd hold against the hotel.UPDATE: After posting my review, the customer service received by management was fantastic. My concerns were addressed and made right.

Such a cute place! Clean, safe and quiet. I didn't get a chance to catch the name of the sweet woman who runs the Inn but she was so nice. The Inn is only 45 mins from the beaches, has a few restaurants nearby and has a beautiful green space to relax/bbq. We stayed in a room with 3 beds and were pleasantly surprised to find 2 of the beds in their own rooms! The room also included a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, cozy couch and a flat screen with lots of channels. With everything you get and the location this is a great deal. They're also pet friendly. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit. Thanks for the stay (:

It was clean and a good price. The room we stayed in was fun with three beds, two of which were in their own rooms. We had enough space we were able to eat lunch/dinner in the room without having to sit on beds. I would definitely stay here again!

Lake Quinault Inn is truly wonderful. We unfortunately couldn't spend the night here during our visit to Olympic National Park because they were fully booked, but the rooms are clean, the location is unbeatable, and their customer service is stellar! They're remodeling and added some cool features for visitors of all ages to enjoy. I was dealing with a work emergency and they even let us use their WiFi and stretch our legs a bit. We were in town for two days and the host and staff here are hands down the kindest and most hospitable in the entire town!

This motel is very well maintained and attended to. The rooms and bathrooms are small, but no matter - they're very clean and everything functions as it should. It's an older motel but it has lots of modern updates. The front desk is also helpful and friendly! I would definitely stay here again!

I forgot to take photos but this place is like an old fashioned motel I used to stay in on the east coast. Very nice staff and the housekeeper was awesome and so kind. Best prices in town. Definitely clean, free wifi. Beds are so-so but no bed is like your bed at home. Deal with it. Making sure we come back here when back in the area. Thank you.

This is a simple but inexpensive and nicely maintained hotel right next to Lake Quinalt and the Quinalt Rain Forest. It is a local business and they were friendly people who deserve to have more business. I and my little dog were treated well.

The hotel is located conveniently near hikes, scenic trails with water falls, a short jaunt to Ruby beach ... quite spectacular! Looks like a smaller version of Cannon Beach. The rooms at the Inn are spacious, clean and cooled with ceiling and box fans. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. There are gas stations close by and a store around the corner.

Tami works very hard to accommodate her guests. She really did everything we asked her to do. The motel is really a 2star motel and a little pricey for what you get, thin towels, yucky coffee, no conditioner and very poor internet in room 8. Unfortunately the other accomodations around Amanda park are rip off high. It's too bad there aren't more accomodations to choose. If I had to do it over, I would spend 1 night there and 2 in Forks. The driving distance to Hoo Forest would have been closer plus Forks has way more restaurants. The grounds needed water and the metal picnic table needed the lichen cleaned off. Two chairs in the room would be better. The bed was comfortable and Tami cleaned bedspread, blankets well. The outside railings need painting. The fridge was nice but needs a good defrosting. The water is excellent so fill your water bottles there. Someone started a loud diesel truck next door every morning at 530am and kept it running for 15 minutes. What a waste of fuel.

My boyfriend and I were doing a 550 mile off road motorcycle trip around the peninsula when we got caught in a downpour before we could make it to our next campsite so we came into town and after a long night of everyone being booked up and us getting drenched in the rain the kind woman that runs the Lake Quinault Inn was able to give us a room at a great price and was just extremely kind when we needed it most. The room had lots of space, was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed and more. We had no cell service anywhere in Quinault but the Inn thankfully had WiFi and also a helpful little print out with nearby restaurants and shops since we had no idea where anything in town was. Anytime we’re staying in Quinault again this will be our first choice and we highly recommend it to anyone else!

A quaint little motel (8 rooms or so) that is clean with an extremely comfy bed. They are remodeling right now and adding some neat new features. Note: the wifi in the entire town is a bit unreliable. Even down at the "Internet Cafe" it was hit or miss. But if you're staying here, you're probably not planning on watching Netflix all day, so it probably won't bother you.
