I got my daughter this little cutie and needed a vet. My boyfriend recommended this place and honestly I couldn't be happier. The pricing is amazing and affordable, they are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to break things down. I had questions regarding my new cat as she was much younger than I previously was told and the vet was helpful and informative to make sure I keep her as healthy as possible. Will definitely come back and would recommended this facility to anyone.

The staff and vet were great! My pup made himself quite at home. Even got on the scales by himself! All went very well for his exam and shots. The Dr answered my questions and was very courteous to both of us. I would recommend and I will be back for anything my pup needs.

Don’t take your pets here. After waiting for half an hour the lady only tried selling me something I’ve used before on my dog and only made things worse, I told her those things but she refused to listen to anything I had to say about what has helped my dog then told me to find someone else. I most definitely will and I hope you do the same if you want what’s best for your pet!When the vet did enter the room she didn’t even care to look at my dogs ear which had the problem, no actual check-up on my dog or anything she just told me to use something that had never worked before.

Don't use online scheduling, even though it's confirmed you will be turned away once you arrive for your appointment. Without a prior phone call or any kind of notice. I've brought my dog here before for his health issue and it didn't seem important to them anyways! As much as I wanted to like this place, we are going elsewhere.Edit: 24-48 hrs to respond to appointment requests, but 2 hrs to respond to 1 star review.

Really bad customer service. Not upfront with pricing. I have gone here for a year + now and they consistently quote a price that is different than they charge you…. budget more than expected. I have had multiple bad experiences with the staff and vet. Just plain rude and mean. They are not welcoming or willing to answer any questions (in a kind way). The building is new but not kept clean at all. They also do not answer your calls. I also have had family and friends who would say the same. Trust the bad reviews. I would encourage anyone to support another business.

RUDE & VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!After a couple of phone calls with Dr. Kris Belles this afternoon, I'm now looking for a new Veterinarian. I've only taken our dogs there once, and it was a different Vet, older gentlemen, and super nice. I called today and got Taylor on the phone (really nice young lady) and I asked some questions regarding flea & tick meds. She had to keep putting me on hold to ask the doctor questions, which I didn't mind; I figured she was new and we've all been there before right? She tells me that she will call me back shortly with an answer, which I was fine with. Then I got a call from a woman who identified herself as Dr. Kris Bellas, and she made it a point to tell me more than once that she was the owner. She told me that they didn't have my dog's records, only vax records. I tried explaining several times to her that her technician informed me originally that her clinic would request the records from the previous clinic. Dr. Bellas cut me off mid-sentence to me that they can't because the previous clinic didn't have digitized records. I needed clarification as to what she wanted me to do, but she kept talking over me.Dr. Bellas kept talking, and talking, and when I detected a pause, I'd try to say something. She talked over me not once, but twice, and then after a third time, I politely let her know that I didn't appreciate her demeanor. That must have lit her fuse after a bad week or something, because she came unhinged over the phone. She raised her voice, she became very nasty with me. Telling me that I'm argumentative, when all I was trying to do was get a word in edgewise and ask a couple of clarifying questions. She then yelled at me calling me demeaning and said that she doesn't want me as a client and to forget about Monday's appointment. Then she hung up on me.Well, In all of this, I forget her name. So, I waited a few minutes for the situation to cool down, and then called the clinic back to request the name of the vet who just hung up on me for my official complaint to the state. Apparently it was Dr. Bellas who answered the phone and she continued to hurl accusations at me, now stating that I'm yelling at her. I informed her that I'm a disabled veteran and retired law enforcement officer, and am partially deaf, so I'm regretfully louder than most others unfortunately. She continued to be rude and berate me on my "behavior." Then she told me to get her the records for Monday's appointment. I was amenable, as I just wanted to get this angry woman off the phone.After carefully reading all of the reviews I could find on the net of her veterinary practice, my wife and I have decided to find another veterinarian to care for our dogs. Thankfully we were pretty new there still and she wasn't able to touch our animals. One is special needs (rescued from abuse & neglect) and the other is a working dog / Veterans Service Dog. Given how this "DR" conducted herself over the phone, we don't want her near our animals. Seriously, read up on this clinic, the best response that Dr. Bellas can give is to hurl insults back at the person leaving the reviews.... What a "Professional" that sounds like, I've got $1 that says that she comes back with how she's as pure as the driven snow, and I'm just a mean old man..... Any takers?

RUDE & VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PART II:Since Dr. Bellas decided to respond and lock the previous review to have the last word with dishonesty, I felt compelled to write another review in response. After all, I've had two dealings with her clinic, so this will serve as the second review.1st. I didn't call your clinic several times, I called once. Your tech called me back a couple of times because she didn't have an answer and needed to keep asking you questions.2nd and most important, you need to LISTEN to what your potential clients are asking, rather than rudely and loudly talking over them consistantly. If you had bothered to actually hear me, I wasn't asking for anything special. My wife's dog was fine waiting for the blood test until you had time on the next Monday. What I was trying to tell you is that I had already emailed the blood test from my Certified Service Dog to you. I tried to tell you that I had it done just recently when I took my service dog down to Arizona last month to attend to the death of my dad and see to the medical needs of my mother after she had several strokes when my dad died. She had to be placed in a long term skilled nursing care facility. You didn't listen to a word that I said. Heartworm was prevalent there in the AZ mountains, and your clinic could not get her in for a blood test in time. I didn't argue then either, I simply scheduled a test near my mom's home for her to get seen in AZ. If you had bothered to come up for air and stopped berating me, you might just have found that out Dr. Bellas.Then you wanted to argue with me about when the ticks came out. Ma'am, I live near lots of woods and some farms. We did see a tick already, but you wanted to argue that as well, telling me that they aren't out yet. Even the farmer saw the tick, but hey, you're top vet know it all right?Ma'am, I chose not to do business with your clinic because of your attitude and demeanor. I've met enough narcissists in my time as a career police officer, and you fit the bill. Perhaps you should get into politics, as you seem good at it with your telegraphing of your narcissism and gaslighting every customer who leaves you a negative review. Go ahead, dispute it and prove me right yet again there ma'am. Customer service can make or break a company. You have very poor communications skills and even worse customer service skills. This is why I left you the review that I did. Perhaps, instead of immediately going on the attack, bashing, gaslighting, and lying about every negative review that is left for you, maybe, just maybe, you could actually open your mind and hear what your FORMER "clients" are tying to tell you.However, I'm sure you will be back on here to bash me some more, accuse me of lying, spew some more anger, and then lock this review up as well. I'll end this review with a famous quote from Will Rogers. I'm sure you will fall into the latter part of the quote, which is why we don't want you near our animals, and why I warned off my fellow military folks from your clinic. Since I knew this clinic I was extremely lucky👌I used to get another clinic, I don't want to mention names, my cat enters good health and exits the patient😅😅😅How so I do not know🤔🤔🤔.But in this clinic I really appreciate there job and there honesty and their sincerity at work.Especially one girl I really don't know her name but I think she's Physician AssistantI really appreciate her quality jobs.If you guys have Human Clinic please let me know so that's I will be the first guy visit.😅😅😅

Brought my puppy to be neutered. Absolutely exceptional surgical procedure. Since no outside stitches were used, no return visit was necessary. He didn't need a big collar to crash around the house with. The healing process went well. They took great care of him. Compassionate and caring. If he needs care in the future we will go back.

We have two dogs who are seen here. We love West Plains Animal Hospital. Everyone there is fantastic and love our babies. My absolute favorite thing is that they are affordable, which makes it so much easier to insure my babies are well and taken care of!!!

Most of the time, they are great. There have been a couple times over the years that I've been misinformed about things with my pets by them, (which is why I can't give 5 stars) but overall it has been a good experience here.

Very reasonable price just went in recently to get my cat neutered. Mind you it was my first time. The staff were very nice and respectful but when it came to picking up my cat they just gave me my receipt and basically said bye! Even tho I would of loved to know more info on how my cat was doing or how it went. When I had arrived home I found out that my cat was not shaved at all where he was neutered. Mind you he’s a long hair cat. That was very frustrating. I enjoyed the place but there is a few things they should’ve communicated. I can’t even see my cats stitches.

Always friendly staff. They have always taken great care of my pets, excellent prices and I get to be in the room with my pets. My only regret is I couldn't give them more than 5 stars. I have recommended this veterinary place to friends and family. They also thanked me and told me how pleased they are with this office as well. Been going to West Plains for years. Was referred to them by a friend about 7+ years ago and have been going there ever since.What initially drew me was their reasonable pricing and fast availability. I was fresh out of college and cost unfortunately was something I had to consider. Neither of those things that initially drew me all those years ago have changed.But what has kept me loyal is the staff. Dr. Belles is very straight forward, honest, accommodating, and knowledgeable. When Dr. Branford joined the team, I was even more impressed because of her specialty with cats. The front desk staff and assistants are all compassionate and personable. I always feel so welcome.I have referred family to West Plains because I trust them so much with our fur babies. They are definitely worth it.

I came here for my kitty cat because of their low cost. The first appointment was for shots and a checkup; the second for shots and a worming. I would recommend them.First the bad(ish):This vet only administers two or less shots per session for a cat because more makes them sick and cranky. While I'm fine with this (and will choose Cheeg's comfort always), it made the vet appointment cost more than a vet with maybe a bit less regard for a pet's happiness. My big complaint is their big beautiful oversized doorway makes it difficult to balance a cat (and the first time a baby) as you enter two doorways. It also seems they don't have the best situation for multiple patients (but, really, what vet does?). No handicap entrance (refer to their big beautiful doors)Now the good:I was over 10 minutes late for her appointment the second time. No issues getting me in. Very friendly and obviously cares a lot about the animals in their care. They provide a little coffee station and their rooms and facility are in good shape. Inexpensive, even after two appointments. They do dog toenails! 🐕 😯

Absolutely awesome experience here! This place will be where I take all my animals from now on. I got my male cat neutered and it was such an affordable and easy process! They never pushed unnecessary treatments either, they were super sweet and nice. I called every vet in spokane and they were all extremely expensive and booked out months in advance. West plains got us in within a few days and like I said extremely affordable! So happy with this place!

I have complete confidence in Dr. Belles and the staff there.Without a doubt the care that our pets received extended and improved the quality of their lives. My dogs and cats have always received the best care from Dr. Belles. Nobody I would trust more with my animals, she's always looking out for what's best for the animal and does not have an ego getting in the way. I appreciate her common sense approach and the way she communicates in an easy to understand language. Also never felt like she is trying to "sell" unnecessary treatment.

I'm glad you guys did a good job fixing our cat, however we signed a paper early that morning saying it would've been $72, but when we went to pick up our cat you guys told us it'd be $160. You guys really need to be honest with your clients from the get go, and tell them exactly how much it'll cost before the procedure begins. Not doing that isn't okay.
