I have done dinner here before, and it wasn't my favorite. But, I was excited to try breakfast and coffee. I ordered the French press and cannot believe what I was served. It was some of the best coffee I have ever had. The tableside service and presentation was amazing. I did the eggs and toast with chicken sausage and it was all very good. I loved the butter that was offered for the toast, the tangerine butter was tasty. Great service, I will definitely be back.

Corey was our server and he was amazing! Great sense of humor. His service was every bit as good as the food. It was really interesting to get offered to choose our knife for the dinner. Now the pricing is obscene but it was the best steak I’ve ever had. The espresso chili torte was divine. Really rich. We enjoyed the bread and the butter was super soft.Would go back again next time we’re in the area.

-Sigh- I'm usually so easy to please when someone else makes dinner. Our waitress was fantastic and the restaurant layout was nice for a more private dining experience. The food did not meet our expectations by a long shot for the price. We were woefully disappointed.Firstly, I have to admit, my husband is a self-appointed steak connoisseur, with a refined palate for steak, by cut and cooking. He ordered rare, and almost sent it back as it was way overcooked for a rare order. He said it was a $30 steak at best. I ordered lamb. It tasted okay to me, but I was disappointed at the small portions, 2 shanks. It was plated in a lovely way though, but for the price it needs to have wow taste. The salad had enormous sized, burnt croutons. The waitress noticed them being burnt when she came back and replaced them. The scalloped potatoes looked interesting but were cold in the middle and bland. We thought we'd order desserts to go in hopes those might salvage our night out splurge. We ordered the flourless chocolate cake, creme brûlée, and beignets. They were all the worst we've ever had. The small slice of cake had only a 1/5 inch layer or so of chocolate and was mostly some sort of white nougat or cream. The creme brûlée had an odd flavor and the caramelized crust was so thick and hard it was really hard to eat. The tiny beignets were hard, as though they had been sitting out, stale.I really hate to give such a critical review. We've been here once before a while back and were disappointed then too, maybe not as badly. So I wanted to share our experience before some plunks down their money with high dining expectations.Interestingly, it seemed like they had more seafood options than steak. Diners should also be aware that they include a generous service/gratuity fee of I believe 25% in your bill, as many patrons are probably staying overnight at the resort. We did NOT notice that service fee and added another 20% or so for a tip. We did not want to fault the waitress for our disappointment with the food, as she was great.Parking: We parked in the parking garage, and walked through a long hallway through the hotel. A wheelchair could navigate this path with no stairs. It's protected from the weather outside, which is nice.

The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere - it's spacious and modern yet still feels cozy and inviting. The food was amazing - my friends decided to get a variety of dishes such as sushi, steak, and seafood, and everyone enjoyed their meal. Everything tasted fresh and cooked to perfection! We also had a delicious selection of desserts which were all well worth trying out. To top off the evening, the waitstaff even brought out a special birthday cake for us complete with candles! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal in an inviting atmosphere - you won't be disappointed. Masselow's Steakhouse is definitely one of my favorite places for dining out with friends or family.

The service was excellent, you definitely need to have reservations to get in. The food was pretty good, after eating all week I just ordered the Cobb salad with salmon which was quite delicious. Coffee was great, desserts were great and the shrimp appetizer was really really good.

We were at a conference for a few days. This was the only placed that served breakfast during the week besides the coffee shop in the casino. The waitress and server were very nice and welcoming. The food came quickly and was very delicious. The server came around several times to top off our coffee and water. Overall great spot for breakfast!

I thought I had posted a review the first time we went. I didn't. I'm sad to say it's gone downhill. The bread service was horrid. The bread was so hard and the butter hard to spread. They used to have a great selection of salts and butters to pair with the bread. We waited too long from the time we ordered until we ended up leaving. We didn't stay for the mea. It's become an $$$ burger place. The drinks are pricey and I'm willing to overpay for the drinks if everything else is amazing but the drinks were the only good thing and there was 0 mixing involved if that says anything. They asked us to give them another chance but why would I risk my money? I get it's a casino but my food is one thing I don't want to gamble on.

Don't forget about Masselow's for BREAKFAST! We stayed at the resort for several nights and ate at pretty much all of the restaraunts. The surpise best meal of the bunch was for a mid-week, early breakfast at Masselow's. Expertly prepared breakfast selections are for the most part worth the slightly high prices being asked. Everything we tried was delicious.

WAS The Best Steak In Spokane (New Management Now) The Chile Torte Is My All Time Favorite Dessert. Waiting For Them To Bring Back Salmon Chowder And The Scallops With The White & Green Sauce. The New Management Got Rid Of Indian Fry Bread With Huckleberry Purée Along With Some Other Changes- Definitely Not As Great As It Used To Be.

1st and foremost; servers were extremely polite and professional. Very genuine and kind!We did the 4 course meal they had available at the time. I don't recall the exact name of every dish.Appetizer - shrimp. The leftover broth made a great dip for bread.Bread cart was really neat - a few local breads and an in-house baked one. Nice touch.Salad was good! I know it had cougar gold and that itself makes the salad worth while.Steak - perfectly cooked! Carrots were just as good as the rest of the dish.Dessert - not huge on sweets but it's a guilty pleasure.Overall, food was ok. Portions are fairly small, prices are a bit steep but in all fairness; we knew that going in. It was a nice experience and as mentioned before; the staff was extremely friendly.

UPDATE: 05/20/21Came with my wife so that so could enjoy the new experience here at Masselow's.We had a couple of drinks at the bar before being seated. The bartenders were friendly & helpful. They have plenty of unique cocktails. My favorite technique is the smoked old fashioned. We both ordered the 4 course tasting menu. They offer a suggested wine with each course, but we did not want to drink 4 glasses of wine an dthen drive home. So they split the "pairing" for each of us so we could taste each suggested wine with each course. The cost was an additional $30 per person but well worth it. Most wines complimented the food nicely. I wasn't the biggest fan of the moscato for the desert wine. The wine was good, I am just not a fan of sweet wines. They served us an amuse-Bouche that was a small polenta cake. Seemed a bit strange at first but the flavor suddenly grows and continues in your mouth for some time. It was a quite a surprise and very enjoyable. We ordered the More Than Ahi Tuna Poke & the Caviar "Egg Sandwich". Both were very tasty. I especially liked the sandwich, just wish it was a bit larger. We each had the Tableside Caeser & of course, the bready course. more comments below from my original review.I ordered the 40-Day Dry-Aged Eye of Ribeye & she ordered the Grilled Prime Filet Mignon. Both were fantastic. If being critical, the fillet was a bit rarer than medium rare and the Ribeye more medium than Medium rare. Bit minor issues as the flavor for both was great. For desert, I was the Raspberry-Rhubarb Tart & she ordered the Chocolate Blackout Cake. Both fantastic. I loved the brightness and flavor of the tart especially.Again, the service was impeccable. Super friendly and very attentive staff. The meal is not cheap, but this is True fine dining that you rarely to never see in Spokane. Special Occasion worthy every time.03/2021Was a great experience. They are currently only using 2 price fix menus for dinner. A 3 course menu ($70) or the 4 course menu, which I selected ($90). They served us a pasta noodle amuse-bouche as a tasting that was nice and interesting.I chose the "More than Ahi Tuna Poke" starter, which was flavorful and looked fantastic. Just felt it was missing some thin crackers to go with it for texture & flavor. Then came the table side Caeser salad. Unfortunately, the don't actually make the caeser dressing in front of you. It is already made and they just assemble the salad in front of you. They give you many add-on options such as anchovies, bacon, shrimp, cheese, croutons, etc.. The salad was good, but not the best that I have ever had.Something very cool and unique was the bread cart. I have never seen a bread cart served table side at a restaurant. The breads, crackers and house made butters were great.I chose the Grilled Prime Filet Mignon for my entree. It was very good but rather small. The main critique was that they sliced the filet instead of leaving it whole. I had never seen that done at a high end steak house. The meat was cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes & grilled butternut squash was nice but small.Lastly I chose the Chocolate Sundae Flambe. They lit it on fire at the table for a good presentation. The brownie & ice cream were a good finish to the meal.Service was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made sure everything was perfect.I really enjoyed the meal and would definately come back. While there were a few odd things about the dishes, all in total the meal was a great value.

We had breakfast as Masselow's and it was awesome. The scratch made in house biscuits were the best I've ever tasted. They use locally sourced ingredients and grind their own chicken breakfast sausage. The breakfast gravy was very good too.Their house made breakfast sweet bread was served with tangerine infused butter, butter & a homemade preserve made without sugar! It was all really delicious & it's part of the reason why I want to come back and golf the area courses again!

Honestly not sure which was better, the crab benedict I had, which was absolutely delicious, or the service. The crab benedict has a very generous portion of crab and was incredibly flavourful and all around delicious. The service was top notch, Tiffany was our server and she made sure my coffee was always full, and had an awesome attitude for such an early morning. Will definitely be coming back for dinner.

The food was made to order and was good. My bacon gorganzola was a little salty but still good. The service was friendly but very slow for not being a busy night. Had to wait almost a couple hours to finally eat. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, which was great. The price was too expensive for what you get for your food. I ordered the ribeye, which wasn't bad but very fatty and hard to eat... I would love to try it again to try another dish and see if I get faster service. The appetizers were amazing I have to say.

Excellent service, Delicious Steaks, Risotto and Great Salads. Where do I start. Tender Filet Mignon and Center cut Ribeye and Shrimp sides all cooked perfectly.

This is the best place around for breakfast! We love the staff, especially Tiffany, who is the best server anywhere! The atmosphere is soft, gentle lighting, comfortable seating and pleasant music played at a good level. The booths offer a private dining experience even when they are busy. The French press coffee service is top notch and they have fresh squeezed OJ and grapefruit juice! We like everything on the breakfast menu, but the biscuits and gravy are especially delicious as well as the breakfast wrap. Try the OJ with huckleberry mixed in - really a Northwest treat! We have been here for dinner once as well and enjoyed the steaks and especially the biscuits made with Gruyere cheese. It's a little more pricey, but totally worth it for the top notch service and delicious food. It feels like an upscale restaurant, with cloth napkins and fancy service, but casual attire is perfectly fine here as well. We come here every chance we get!

My boyfriend reserved a table of 5 for my birthday- We, along with another couple were very excited to try for the first time- unfortunately we didn’t expect to be there quite so long. Sat at 730pm, didn’t leave until about 11. I could understand if it were a busy night but being a Thursday - not a weekend the restaurant was pretty empty. Dark room, large table in back- view of back wall/kitchen.It took 20-30 min to get our first round of drinks- another 30min to get the apps. (*Pork belly was the one true highlight of the evening). $20 Table Caesar salad was disappointing- dressing was pre made - they basically just assembled the ingredients in front of you instead of back in the kitchen. Not too flavorful even when adding extra dressing, Ordered our meals. Steak wasn’t prepared properly for 1 guest but they remade and was corrected. Brought out without his original additions. Food was ok just could be more seasoned. When it came time to check out, it took another 20 minutes just to leave as we were all grouped on one ticket although it was 3 separate payments.Unfortunately since we spent so much time waiting at the restaurant we didn’t get to explore the casino floor or check out other bars/ lounges as we had to get back home to babysitters.Wouldn’t go back again unfortunately, as I expected more in terms of atmosphere, and faster service, and better tasting food for the price.
