I've been to Ginnies a few times, the ladies are all so sweet. They do an amazing job! I usually get the full service package, reasonable prices also. The first time I went my dog didn't want to go second time she walked right in. It's always cute seeing her tail wagg and how excited she is as I come in to get her says alot about her experience that it was a good one.

I took my cat to get her first lion cut at GinnieO’s and it looked so adorable and perfect! I can tell my cat was happy and so was I! Ginnie is so kind and so is her son that helps her. AMAZING customer service, If I could rate her business 10 stars I would. I can also tell she loves and cares for the animals she grooms without a doubt.😊

There are not enough positive things I can say. I live a little ways away but I won't take my Katie anywhere else!!! Felicia and Ginnie are both amazing! I happened upon them several years ago by accident. I was between groomers and my friend (who had recently also gotten a shih tzu) went to Ginnie O's on a same day appointment. I was so impressed I called the following day and have only been going there since then!!

Fantastic experience. Went to get my pug's nails trimmed, was in and out less than 5 minutes. Had to grab cash from yokes due to them only accepting cash at the time, but the groomer was super nice. 5/5 would recommend

Very nice people/owner. My pom is difficult and hates being groomed, usually being so mad at me for taking her that she wants nothing to do with me when I pick her up. (It's funny actually) When I picked her up from GinnieO, she actually smiled and even gave Ginnie loves before we left. It's got a homey vibe and very reasonably priced. I left the area a week after our visit or I'd make this our permanent groomer. Thanks Ginnie!

First time taking the dog to the groomer, and Ginnie did a fantastic job! She’s so good with the dogs, she put them at ease and made them feel safe. When we picked them up they looked better then ever, they even smelled good! Ginnie definitely earned some loyal customers! Great job!

I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but I feel this needs to be addressed.I called yesterday and got in for today 12/1 at 11am, on the phone I informed her that my dog is 40lbs. She told me the price would be $30. I dropped my doxy/pitbull mix off a little before 11am. She wasn’t done until 1:15 the same day. I was told one hour, if they had told me it’ll be two hours then okay, I would have understood. I planned my day around the hour time frame.The place is disgusting, I don’t expect it to be super pristine as it’s for animals.. but it’s just gross.The staff is great and very friendly and that’s why I gave them an extra star. Except;I believe I spoke to Ginnie on the phone when I called to check on my dog after 1hr 45minutes. She was very rude and hung up on me.And after all of this I ended up paying $45 when I was told $30.I’m really disappointed as I wanted a local groomer.Edit:I wanted to add that when I was there paying, I paid with cash and they didn’t have any money to give me change. $15 in change. The worker had to go across the street to get change from yokes.ANDWhen I was checking out the gentleman put my dog on a table and she almost fell off; she would have been hanging by her neck.

I bought a three-month-old Maltese/Yorky mix puppy from Virginia Holmes, owner of Ginny o's dog and cat grooming. The purchase was made on September 14,2022 and the puppy died on September 17th, 2022. The puppy died from heart failure and an ultrasound demonstrated a tumor on her liver and spleen. The emergency pet hospital Dr. told me that a grain free diet was contraindicated for a puppy that small because it causes heart problems. I called Virginia the next day on September 15, 2022 to let her know that the little puppy was listless. Virginia told me to give her some Karo syrup. After doing this the puppy seemed better. I called Virginia several times after that as the puppy reverted back to listlessness again. The 24 hour emergency hospital personnel on Mission Avenue and Division Street were remarkable, most caring and very attentive to the puppy's continued failure to thrive. On September 16, 2022 I tried repeated times to call Virginia Holmes. She did not take my calls and did not return my messages until the 17th and again on the 18th by this time the puppy had expired. Virginia returned my $1200 that I paid for the puppy. But I am seeking damages regarding the hospital bill.. Pain-and-suffering damages at this time are a real possibility for me to seek from the court. I pray that this terrible scenario would not repeat itself to another of her customers. I've only taken my fur babies in once. My overall experience was pleasant. The lady seems very nice and it's obvious that she loves animals. I do like supporting local businesses, however, I wish the prices were slightly lower.

I don’t see why they have so many bad reviews, we took our husky mix in today ( who’s usually very scared around new people) and when I picked him up he was very happy and acting very loving towards the groomers. They even let me come back while he was getting bathed, since he’s a big baby, and he did better with them than he does with me when I try to bathe him. And as a bonus they are great with kids too lol. We have definitely found our new go to groomer to take care of our fur baby’s and I’m so happy with how bear looks all cleaned up and handsome 😍

My dog rolled in something very dead and after 2 baths, I couldn't get the smell out. So I called GinnieO's right before they closed and they were able to squeeze me in to give my dog a bath with some special shampoo and it took care of the smell! Thank you!

I have recently started working at Ginnie O's! She is an excellent groomer and a great teacher. Treats every animal like it is her own and has so much love to give. Does a great job grooming and her prices are competitive with other grooming establishments. I look forward to meeting her clientele! And taking on some new clientele of my own.

I took my dog here a couple of times, then changed to a different groomer. My new groomer said my dog acted like whoever groomed him before must have hurt him. My new groomer is great and very careful with him, so I definitely trust what she said to be the truth. I had my dog come back from Ginnie O's and it's nose was shaved so low it was bleeding. Don't take your pets here. It's is worth the drive to Spokane to get someone who actually knows what they are doing!

Our pups hair cut and nails look great! We did ask for him to have a de-shedding service and that didn't get done, but they also didn't charge us for it. They were fast to get us in, and very pleasant. We went to pick him up as soon as they called and he was in a kennel that was uncomfortably small for him, he couldnt even stand up, and I don't think he had any water while he was there, he drank two entire bowls full after he got home. We were pleased with the services that were actually done, but we will probably search and try somewhere else.

Awesome Dog Groomers!! Extremely professional, courteous, and knowledgeable folks. Pricing is the absolute lowest for the area. Great attention to detail. They even have a donation box for those giv and take for those budgeting for pet products at no cost. Go see Ginnie!

While I thought they did a great job grooming my dog, a day later and for the next week, my dog couldn't stand me to touch him on his back. He lost his appetite, wouldn't drink, and was in obvious pain. My vet told me it appeared as though they burned him with the water or brushed him to hard with a metal brush. Not okay! Animal control, and the authorities will be involved.

My dogs testicles were singed while receiving a haircut here. It was yellow and scabbed over and we are lucky it didn't get infected. He has also been traumatized from baths! He never use to be scared and shaken from bath time but he is now. He had issues going to the bathroom for at least a week and was in obvious pain that was effecting his daily life. I'm not sure what happened because I took my other dog here as well and he was fine. If you have a dog who hasn't been neutered I wouldn't recommend bringing him here. That being said the haircuts turned out neat and trimmed and the owner seemed to be conversant, but it isn't worth the risk for my dog to come here again.

We have a 8 year old maltese that we rescued. She was afraid at first. The people there were so nice and kind. We explained what we wanted since this was her first cut. We were told that she should be done by 4 but we got the call at 3:30. When we got there she looked amazing. Thank you Ginnie and everyone there. We will go there again :D

We struggled to find a groomer who was well suited for our very anxious Mini Schnauzer, Abby. Thankfully, we found Ginnie. Even before she had her own shop, we made sure only Ginnie groomed our pup. Abby went to Ginnie until she passed a few years ago. I moved home with my own pups that same year, and they've been seeing Ginnie ever since! Nothing but happy wags and goofy dogs at GinnieO's 🐶❤🐶

I showed up for an appointment I had but there was no one there. I figure there must've been a personal emergency but I left a message checking in that day and i still haven't heard back. Would love to have my dog groomed there as it is a highly rated business!
