I do enjoy stopping in this lovely little general store. Unfortunately, I have not had a great experience with the coffee mugs that are sold there. I purchased two mugs in December and within 2-3 months both of them have hairline cracks in them. And this after normal use…hand washed and cared for very well. The coffee mugs are “The bowl maker” ones that are very beautiful in design, but very cheaply made.I went back to the store to ask what could be done and the manager said, “how do I know you didn’t bump them and that is what caused them to crack”.22 years in the military and I have learned what integrity is about, so I did not like that very much. And she said “that was a long time ago when you purchased them” and I said “it was only 2 to 3 ago”!! Needless to say, she told me she would have the owner contact me and they have not. One of the other ladies also said you’re supposed to pour hot water in them before you put your coffee in…. That’s new to me when using a coffee mug. Been drinking coffee for over 30 years.. Also very coincidental that both of them have cracked. Beware before purchasing if you wanna enjoy hot liquids. Maybe use them strictly for decoration? Or just avoid them entirely? They cost $20 each.Update:The message was passed on to the local artist, Cary Lane, the creator of the mugs. In quick fashion, Cary took care of the situation. She is a classy lady and stands by her product!Thank you Acme General Store for passing on the message to help rectify the situation.

For being off the beaten path, this place has the most amazing biscuits for sale!! And their selection of beers (hard to find ones too) is impressive!! Hit it up if you find yourself on 9 up towards Bellingham! 🤘😎

I needed gloves because my hands were aching from the cold air this morning, and I also needed to use the restroom to relieve my bladder before continuing to Nooksack on my bike. The woman at the counter was very friendly, helpful, and happy to let my girlfriend and I both use her restroom, even before I made my purchase. Friendly, very nice store and a great little town to explore the Nooksack River.

I grew up in Acme and it is great to see this store is basically untouched and unchanged. The wood floors remain as does the nostalgia when you walk in the front door. Love it! Has everything you need and want.

The people working there are so friendly, helpful, and accommodating! They even special ordered something for me since I just moved to the area and would be stopping in frequently for the item. They do have a little bit of everything, which is helpful when you live in such a remote area. They have homemade, locally sourced items too! They have jewelry made by a local artist which is pretty cool. The only negative thing I could say about the store is that the items are pricey ... but honestly not much more than any gas station charges for grocery store type items. The friendly and amazing people who work there make up for that! 10/10 recommend stopping here if you're driving through.

Small laundry facility available. Really good home made sandwiches in the cooler by the register. I but propane and had there. They are happy to help. The small laundry area has an inside camera thatthe glares down from over washing machines... Which, frank made me feel strangely uncomfortable. Maybe they have had trouble before or maybe they are just NOT trusting of their customers. Either way it did not sit well with me and it was practically looking down my shirt! Like I said. Strangely uncomfortable.Nice place. Old fashioned country store/ mercantile with all the basic must haves. A pricey option to driving all of the way to town which is okay in a pinch!

This is a great one stop shop right off Hwy 9 in Acme. Food, drinks, ice, Hardware section. This is great spot to stop in before "tubing " the river. Buy tubes and right out front has a great fill up station. Super nice owners and Staff. Small town Gem.

This is one of my favorite spots on the way to the mountains the customer service is excellent and the faces are always friendly highly recommend stoping in if not for gas then maybe to mark off something on your grocery list they have an excellent selection and they have a handy dandy Little hardware section or maybe just to have a friendly conversation cool spot

Surprised at the variety in this tiny shop. Hardware, fresh veggies, take and bake pizza and a bathroom that while smaller than most showers, was still very clean. Icy cold drinks and hot coffee. Uneaven, creaky wooden floors are part of the charm.

Best off the road beaten path general store ever. This place has tons of charm happy employees, and the best Ice Cream named after the tiny town it is located in. They even have a small fresh veggies selection.

Cool store, there's a hardware area to the back, with all types of cool stuff! The nice people that work there Always say hello when you enter and treat you like you live there. Even if you dont... I don't live there.

This place is awesome! They have a free station for blowing up floats, and are fully stocked with beverages and snacks. Great kombucha selection, which can be hard to find at stores like this.

Great food awesome sandwiches! They really take care of the tubers to to make sure that we have tubes and things that we need before we get on the river. I wish the other part of the town would embrace the tubing.

We have a tradition to stop here at least once on each of our many camping trips in the area. Everyone is always friendly and they have everything you need in a pinch as well as some great produce and specialty items.

Cool old store that has most anything you need to get you by. Friendly people,good coffee and a good pit stop if you need a quick break down Hwy 9. Pac Pride cardlock right next door for fueling needs and also a real,neat Bbq diner next door too.
