Pharmacists went way out of their way to phone the ER several times to get a prescription for my granddaughter. It took four hours to finally succeed but they got it worked out for me. I’m so appreciative of their help and concern. The entire pharmacy was cheerful and helpful!

I called at 12:53 pm on 04/06/2024 to ask if there was a prescription ready for me to pick up. The pharmacist, a lady, whom I spoke to on the phone, was rude. It sounded like she was rushing me to get off the phone, and the way she handled the call was extremely unprofessional. I might have to pick up my prescription somewhere else. In my opinion, she shouldn’t answer the phone if she is going to be rude to customers. She has her job because of customers, so she should be nice enough to at least answer the phone. Very disappointed!!!

This store has provided me with the absolute worst customer service experience I've ever had in my life. I had some time to kill while my husband was at an appointment so I decided to spend the time at rite aid looking through their makeup selection. First of all, the makeup selection is absolutely pathetic. It was so picked over in many brands there wasn't any selection of concealer or foundation for white women (which is the vast majority in the area). As soon as I entered the store an employee posted herself right next to me acting like she was working but she must have had suspected me of stealing due to the way I look (I choose to color my hair bright, fun colors & have visible tattoos). In my opinion, & I would think most would agree, this is completely inappropriate & wrong. There should be no bias in dealing with customers due to their outward appearance. After about a half hour of this harassment (remember I was killing time) a second, even ruder employee came over and actually stood in my way of viewing the products. She began to make judgemental remarks under her breath until she finally said she was going to call the police department because I had spent what she viewed as too much time in the store. She never asked the reason for my long visit (although it would have been none of her business.) I would have liked to stay to address the police & this completely unfair, humiliating treatment but it was extremely humiliating & I couldn't subject myself to any more abuse. I plan on going back to the store today to get the employees name & if the situation is handled as it should her job as well. I am very aware there is a shoplifting issue in Aberdeen, as there is most places, but that doesn't give anyone an excuse to be abusive & rude to customers. I will never visit this store again except to take action about this issue & I recommend everyone do the same. The customer service is the absolute worst I've ever received in my life & the store should be closed down & the employee shouldn't be allowed to interact with anyone until she learns common decency & respect. Honestly, if it was an option to give zero stars or even negative stars I would in a heartbeat. I will also be following up on my concerns with corporate as I want to do anything I can to prevent another customer from having a horrible experience like I did.

Always short staffed, not exactly their fault although they don’t treat their employees well enough for them to want to work or stay at work. They’re always backed up, and even if they aren’t the service is slow. They are always INCREDIBLY rude for no reason, and will cut you off when you speak or even hang up on you on the phone at any moment.The older female pharmacist here is extremely rude and demeaning to everyone; I’ve even witnessed her talking down to staff.TO ALL OF THE POLITE WORKERS at Rite Aid. You guys rock. I don’t know how you continue to do well in this environment, but Godspeed to you for that. Keep doing your thing, but screw your boss.

I wrote a review prior but I deleted it because it wasn’t too nice and it’s not fair to the good ones working there. I’ve been with RiteAid for many, many, many years and even though I’ve been through some not so great experiences lately, there are many good people who work there that deserve credit for the great things that they do on a daily basis, such as always treating the customers with respect.I can tell RiteAid has struggled since COVID but they are still my pharmacy and I am sticking with them. They just need to weed out the bad seeds and commend the ones who are trying to make the customers experience a pleasant one! They have many people who really care. A little weeding out needs to be done, but overall I like this pharmacy and they have done a lot for me!Thank you very much to the great people who work here and make the customers happy on a daily basis! Get your prescription anywhere but here. Three times now, I've gone to the drive thru for Rx pickup and sat there for 20 minutes and was never greeted. This last time, I called the store and asked why no one had helped me or the other four cars waiting in line. I was told they didn't have the staffing currently to run the drive thru so to come inside. There were no signs or cones put out, indicating the drive thru was closed. I went inside and observed five employees in the pharmacy and nobody standing in line (doesnt seem under staffed to me). One week later, I selected online to have a different medication shipped to my house. I repeatedly got text messages to pickup my prescription or it would be put back on the shelf. After 5 days, I called and asked if it had been shipped. I was told it had not and to come pick it up in store. Finally, with my most recent medication, my doctor prescribed the name brand version. Rite Aid sent me a text saying it was out of stock and they were ordering it. After 2 weeks passed, I called in to check the status and was told it was still unavailable. Another week went by. I called again and asked what the status was. I was told the generic brand was unavailable anywhere on their ordering system. I asked about the name brand option and mysteriously, it was available! Considering this is only a $20 difference on my co pay, I'm pretty irritated I wasn't given all my options for a medication I really needed.

Rude & no customer service what’s so ever! City Drug never gave rude answers and if they needed a doctors confirmation they didn’t say Sorry not our problem it’s your doctors! That’s not an acceptable Your Pharmacy is rude & needs to have a Sensitivity Training.

Pharmacy calls and tells me my rx are ready. I've been sitting at the window for 20 minutes and still no rx. They actually told me to get out of line and go the end so it will be ready after the line.

Always friendly for the front end staff. Short staffed but definitely friendly.Edit.... I take it back. Front end gal wouldnt get off her cellphone from sharing lovey lovey comments long enough to help me. Didnt talk to me once. Store is in chaos. Sone of the Pharmacy people are rude and inconsiderate. (Heard them talking/giggling about another patients (by name) meds and how stupid the patient was. ) I'll never go back there again. Sad considering I spend quite a bit there every month.

The pharmacist and pharmacy techs at Aberdeen Rite-Aid should be ashamed at how garbage they are.Me and my family have (these last few years) constantly had issues when our Dr.s have called in meds to the pharmacy, including life saving meds like insulin.7 times a Dr. called in insulin to the Aberdeen Rite-aid pharmacy and this last time we were actually accused by the pharmacist over the phone of lying.It’s really sad when Walmarts pharmacy is 1000% better. Hoquiam Rite-aid is just as equally bad. I wouldn’t buy a penny candy from that place. The employees are trash humanbeings.

I have been going here for a year. I had an authorization in progress for a medication I need. I called 3 days later the pharmcy said it was in que and will be ready later.I show up 3 hours later and its not ready, "come back in 45 min". The next day I called to see if its ready and they said "no, the medication is not available." I said what does unavailable mean? It was said that their distributer doesnt carry that medication snd that is the only one they use. I said I guess I need to go to another pharmacy that will. She said, "I guess so." So my big complaint is why didnt they tell me they dont carry the medication in the first place? It is 5 days now I dont have my medication and have to start my paperwork all over again with another pharmacy.Good customer relations? Then today my daughter came home and she told me she asked the pharmacy where an item is located. The pharmacist said go ask a floor clerk Im not available. The store clerk didnt know either she was new. So she goes back to the pharmacist to see again and the skinny short hair blond lady put her hand up and rudely said unh uhn uhn go ask the floor clerk. My daughter said she has to help her and the pharmacist said no I dont I work for a contracted company not Rite Aid.You lost 2 customers today, never again

Worst. Pharmacy. Ever. They run the wrong insurance CONSTANTLY for my son's MUCH NEEDED medication. Then they don't tell me until it's right before closing. Even if I call to inquire about it, they tell me to check back an hour prior to closing. Then won't run the proper insurance information until after these incidents. 5 times now this has happened. I have given them the updated information EVERY TIME.And to top it all off, when we DO get to go in to pick them up, the lady running the drive up pharmacy pick up loves to hop on the wrong computer screen 6+ times, sharing very personal & private information with the wrong people.This is going to be a very stressful & long night for everyone in my home with my son not having his medication.

Been trying to pick up my pills for about 2 weeks then going in every couple of days for them to tell me it might be in in a couple of days. And then today they told me they have to get ahold off my doctor to see if I will get some more after waiting almost a month. As a fisherman I can't make it in everyday to make sure they don't give them to the next guy if I had other choices I would go with them for sure...Finally got an update bout them had someone pick them up because I was fishing got home and it's the same ones I already had I really need you guys to get this right I'm in pain

This pharmacy is the worst, I have to go here to pick up medication for my grandmother who is battling stage 4 breast cancer for the third time and she also recently and suddenly lost her daughter- only a few months ago- and almost lost her other daughter just the next month as it turns out she is battling a rare cancer as well-among other curveballs 2022 has thrown at our family- and one of these ladies that we deal with always messes up her prescriptions- but what makes it worse is we were trying to pick up her lorazepam and for whatever reason we weren’t able to get it, it was the weekend, etc- that’s fine. We’ll deal with it. But the lady in the pharmacy has the nerve to say, “Well, I guess she’ll just have to worry this weekend.”I would love for that lady to come look my grandmother in her eyes and tell her those words.

Pharmacy…Waited over an hour in line only to be told they still didn’t have my prescription (that was renewed by phone, the day before) ready and I would need to come back the next day, a 50 minute drive (each way). They said, well, it will be at least another hour. I said I needed the prescription so I would come back in an hour. Came back…waited another hour, standing…to be told the same thing…. now I have been in line for 45 minutes and there are still 2 people ahead of me. Sad state of affairs… hate to leave Rite Aid but…oh great just got to the counter, now they say it still hasn’t even been processed. They again, tell me to come back tomorrow… I can’t, I need the pills today! So now they say that if I can wait for another hour they will do it. Really? It doesn’t matter how busy they are, process improvement is greatly needed. it is now 5:15 and I have been waiting for my prescription all afternoon.. Okay I got a call that my prescription is ready. Went to the window and finally I have it. The one plus… Christine was as helpful as she could be. So sorry she has to deal with this. Just as an aside, I work with colleges across the nation to eliminate long waiting lines for students. Rite Aid needs to hire someone to help improve their process!

The store itself for shopping is excellent. The cashier's always greet you with a smile when you walk in. Always ready to help you find that obscure drugstore item.The pharmacy on the other hand has been a disaster since Covid hit. Has not gone back to pre-covid competence. For the better part of a year they would not even answer the phone. An employee explained to me that they could not get warm bodies to work for the wages cooperate was offering. The ones they did get were undertrained if any training at all.The prescription assistance program is a joke. The online to store prices if paying out of pocket is a scam. Quote a price online but in-store that quantity or brand will not be available and the price is increased exponentially.Do yourself a favor and use a pharmacy locally ran. There are several in the Harbor that are not a big impersonal cooperate chain that care more about the customer than profits.

made an appointment for a specific vaccine and got multiple confirmation emails, drove all the way there for them to tell me they just gave their last vaccine away to someone with no appointment. lady was very dismissive, did not care how long i waited, so rude I heard her talking about me like I was an inconvenience to them, saying “we just need to move on” while i was still waiting. nasty people.

Pretty nice staff! The pharmacy is pretty good when they have issues they are pretty good at figuring out what the cause is and direct me in the right direction if it is something that I need to handle. The only downside is the waits for medications. Besides that I enjoy shopping there and getting my medications filled there after my insurance refused Safeway.

Pharmacist, Janice, was dismissive and rude, the ER sent my medication here on Sunday because all other pharmacies were closed.I’d rather wait longer at Safeway than deal with the disrespect shown here.

Pharmacy and staff almost act as if they don't want your business. They are rude and out right lie telling you they did not receive fax orders when they did. The ER told us they got an electronic confirmation - Rite aid said they received nothing. Needless to say, they lost our business.

Best service i've ever seen in the pharmacy the pharmacist Janice really goes out of her way to help you the drive-through is awesome! One time in two years I was shorted on a medication and they cleared it right up no questions asked but they always check to see if The new med you're on will have a drug interaction with the ones your already on. There just like a family to me they're great! After only a few times of going they knew my name, truly making you feel like you matter! Nobody enjoys being on medication but it helps to have a great pharmacy to help in your time of need!

They never have your prescriptions ready even though they call you and tell you they are or they say they never got the order even though I was charged and got an email saying it was ready to be picked up. They are rude. I was told by one of them to go somewhere else if I didn’t like it here.

Pack a lunch because you will be there all day. They have one person working the counter regardless of how long the line gets. Went to get a vaccine. Didn't get it. Waited here almost an hour for them to call me up and send me back waiting because they do not know how to do their jobs efficiently. Go to the one right down the road it'll be much less hassle

I called to ask if I could be issued a new Covid Vaccination Card because my card has my maiden name on it. I'm not sure if that would cause me hassle later if asked for vaccination verification. The pharmacist basically laughed about it as if my request was a waste of her time. She told me to just scratch off my maiden name and put my married name on there if I have room on the card. Very rude, horrible customer service. It would have taken her less that two minutes to issue me a new card. Especially since that is where I was vaccinated. I will be changing my pharmacy now.

Horrible! Had to complain to the district MG twice now! Most of the staff is out of line rude and just plain out of line. The pharmacist has several times tried to trump my doctor stating her opinion on how my RX MEDS shouldn't be prescribed to me in her opinion...or the mg amount and quantity is to high to be appropriate! A med I've been in for ten years with zero issues ever! HELLO? Your not a doctor and it's not your job to give people you personal opinion on doctors far more competent, how to prescribe!They never do their job, every single time I Refill they screw it up every time or can't bill the ins right! They even were billing the wrong insurance under my name of another customer and refused to accept they were wrong after telling them, and as a result refused to fill meds I desperately needed when I was PREGNANT! Sending me to the ER. It took telling the district gm that I may sue to get anywhere!And the last two times they despensed medications that were not mine! And I'm breastfeeding! The first time I caught their mistake before I left the store with another customers medications, the second time I didn't check and left with meds that weren't mine that they gave me! Thank god I never bothered to look at what I picked up or I could've hurt myself and my breast feed baby by god knows what kind of medicine I was despensed?! (If orally swallowed) I left it in its bag so I didn't take them thank god... A week later they called me and I realized I was given another persons meds. I dumped them, but they non chalantly asked me to just run it back by??? This was serious and not treated as such.Highly incompetent and rude! Especially the pharmacist... some staff such as the cashiers are nice. Other than that everything about this pharmacy is inappropriate!My doctors' personal assistant finally called them saying they are not doing their job, making me make phone calls to insurance and overrides I know nothing about. The asst personally called me back to say how absolutely rude and inappropriate they are after finally speaking with Janice. I guess they get nothing but complaints constantly!Lastly, meds have never been ready when they said, or I've been made to come back just to hear they don't have me in their system or they can't be filled for weeks... which again, was another mistake and not true. They mix peoples birthdays and names up and can't keep meds and customers stait!This is dangerous and I can't risk filling meds here anymore. And I tried chance after chance... transferring my meds tomorrow!!#not safe

Worst customer service in a 20 mile radius. The staff seems more interested in talking with each other than helping the customers. Especially the front end cashiers. I've had entire transactions there with not a single hello, eye contact, nothing. I'd rather drive to the Hoquium store.
