Is it legal for the self checkout people to stare you down while you’re checking out? I don’t mean watching like they’re suppose to. I mean stare in your face as you check out like they’re trying to be intimidating. It’s not the older attendees it’s the young ones thinking they’re Top Flight Security Of The World or something haha be fr. Several times now I’ve gone in that store and gotten a weird stare down by young attendants. One silly girl literally stood in front of me and stared as I checked out. I smiled uncomfortably and she continued to meanmug like a lunatic. I’m sure it’s discrimination because there were other people checking out all around me every single time this happened. Maybe I’ll record next time. Get it together Walmart. All those cameras you don’t need to risk a lawsuit by singling people out to harass.

This Walmart was recently remodeled especially the clothing area turned out really nice. Everybody always hating on Walmart but in the end we all love the convenience of having everything what we need in one spot.It shows in the many customers this store has. The people that work at Walmart do an awesome job and I know before I started working in retail and grocery departments I undervalued what people in this industry do.I never thought how much hard work goes in this place or stocking our daily Foods next time you go visit a supermarket take a look and don't take it for granted.It is great that we have this opportunity to be able to just walk into a store and find what we like if it is food or anything else.And I'm speaking now in general I'm not a particular Walmart lover when it comes to their politics I want to make that clear but the people that work there.Thank You!!!

Visited this “ Walmart Superstore “ while on vacation in the area. It was a very well stocked store. During my visit the staff was very friendly and polite. There was lots of free parking. I was in and out with out any problems. However I will say Walmart is Walmart no matter where you are. Thanks for reading my review and a helpful thumbs 👍🏻 up would let me know others read these comments. Have a great day.

This is one of my least favorite WMs. It's always super messy and nothing is in order. I'd recommend going to the one on Victory Blvd if you need something you can't find here. The clothing, the produce, the children's sections are all so much better here. The customer service isn't bad though. I can say that they have some nice people at this one. It's just very unorganized in some areas.

The staff is friendly but. You have to pay in advance for product and make an appointment. If you can't wait hours for your car don't do Walmart in Yorktown. I made a 6PM appointment to install 2 front tires. It's 7:30pmand my car is not ready. So my car was to be worked on at 6pm it didn't go into the shop until 6:45 and they didn't startwprk until 7:25.

For the most part this store is good, they added more self checkouts and it’s pretty clean and the restrooms as well. I just have one issue with this location. The website is not accurate when saying an item is in stock. I’ve wasted my time and gas coming here multiple times because it says item is in stock and when I get there it’s not and the shelf is empty. Also I’ve wasted my time again trying to get my car serviced at their auto center it’s always they are out stock on the part they need to work on my car, it’s frustrating to say the least.

The store had been remodeled recently and it looks good. The problem is that they don't honor the posted prices. I saw Bud Light posted for $19.98 for 24 bottles. It rang up at $20.98. When I went to the service desk to get it fixed, they told me "we can't by law adjust beer prices" if the price is wrong, it's wrong!Another disgusted Walmart shopper!

I would give Walmart 5 stars at times but I can't do that because they won't hire a nightshift to do their stock then so customers don't have to shop around their employees! This probably wouldn't be as bad but there is an employee usually on every aisle and I get it it's their job! But where does that leave customers? And on days when it's crowded? Forget it! Then you have to dodge and weave around employees as well as other customers and if you have never inexperienced this there's no need for me to try and tell you, you'd have to be there to really understand it!

What can I say? It's Walmart. I've always hated going in when it's crazy busy, so usually I go first thing in the am when they open at 6 am. It's a literal one-stop shop. You can get EVERTHING you need all in one place. Whether it be for your car, furniture for your home, groceries, or toiletries. Some of the Walmarts even have a nail shop or hair place. Not to mention, all of the super cute clothes they always have, and also the shoes and sandels. All of them have a garden center as well. The only thing that I don't like is that within the past year or so, they changed their exchange/return policy. They don't do exchanges at all anymore. It's strictly returns. You still get your money back, but if you pay with credit or debit you have to wait until it goes back on your card, which is always 3-5 business days and then go back and get what you wanted. Some people don't have that extra money to be able to buy what they wanted before the refund money goes back on their card.... but other than that, I will always be a customer.

This Walmart is a nice one, clean and helpful staff for the most part.My GF lost her wallet on the excursion and someone actually turned it into customer service. I wish they contacted us, called and left name & number and were running around shutting down accounts and replacing cards.While at registry for replacement license we took a chance & called back to see if it was returned. Was told 10 min after we left someone turned it in.Could have saved us a lot of aggravation and running around.Customer Service could step it up a little and change the attitudes, after all it’s the CS desk!!

This is the first "good" Walmart on the peninsula if you're traveling north. The staff actually take some pride in their work and will assist you when needed vs other stores where they are disrespectful and act like you're a burden. The customers are also not obnoxious and rude like at other stores in the area.

I can only rate the receiving department. I parked under the canopy for a wall board delivery and was unloaded at 4:30AM. Just be ready to go and they will unload you fast.

Friendly staff, the best products, I'm not too excited about the women clothing section because I'm a Walmart fashionista lol but I'm sure they'll have some more great pieces to choose from soon

I shop this Walmart frequently. Everyone is always friendly, the shelves are always stocked, and the bakery is great. This store does get really busy, but they do a great job to have lines open, and there is self-checkout on both ends.We recently got my son's birthday cake from there and it was great.This location also has a gas station. The gas price is always lower than the stations you can get an oil change and tire issues done also.

Got new tires on my daughter's Chevy. If you have an appointment, everything goes smooth as silk. Strolled over to McDonald's next door for a 1 hour breakfast, went back to Walmart and the deal was done.

New to this Walmart, but love it. Never very crowded, great self check outs, the store is clean, and parking has been good so far. I love the gas station there, it's so convenient.Continues to be my fav Walmart. Never over crowded on week days, parking is great. The food is stocked, produce is fresh, and usually friendly staff

Really great selections on fresh fruits and veggies. Always stocked but the employees are less than friendly. I understand that Walmart probably isn’t a great employer but acting like the public is a burden for shopping because you don’t like your job is not necessary.

Store is okay. Staff is usually nice.However.The bathrooms are always having issues. Four stalls total, but today one is out of order, another is missing the toilet seat, and the accessible stall is out of paper. Kind of crazy to tell folks to just use the ones at the other end of the store 🙃 there is also only one hand soap dispenser and it is empty. Gross.

Been using grocery pickup service every two weeks since start of Covid. Order is always out to car within 15 minutes and service is always courteous. I always use the surprise substitutes method and have never been let down. On average one or two items get substituted. The pick up area is on the side of the building where all the freight containers are parked. It's the entrance by McDonalds off highway 17.

The automotive department is the absolute worst. I got the biggest run around trying to get service...THE WORST!...NEVER AGAIN!!!!!...I purchased a warranty for my tires that I brought there. I was having a slow leak in one of my tires. I went all the way up there(I live in Hpt) needless to say, I wasted my time & gas. They didn't even try to help. I was given the run around big time. Thank goodness for the tire company on Mercury J & M TIRES...TOP NOTCH AND PROFESSIONAL

Been at the outdoor services counter for 20 minutes trying to get a fishing license and no one has helped. Employees will walk past and see me but just keep walking. Doesn’t seem like anyone cares.

Our Harley Group holds our annual Toys for Tots ride at this Walmart. We do our shopping there. They are always so accommodating. They really go all out. And when we have our event, they are Amazing !!!
