Pharmacy cancelled a prescription when I have CLEARLY told the lady not to! Now, I’m having to deal with her mess to clean up.

A year and a half of issues with their computer system. I have talked to the techs, the pharmacist, the 800 number, and even their internal tech support. I have emailed corporate. No one local wants to call tech support, which is what tech support told me needed to happen. I was just told that my issue is "one prescription in hundreds" and they don't see an issue or "I'm not going to argue with you" when I tell them there are problems with their system that need to be handled locally. Submitting for refill online does not work, even if prior authorization was processed days before. Alert messages are not being sent. Auto refills are not processing. The system is suppsoed to automatically convert 90 day prescription to 30 day and does not. Filling auto refills that have been cancelled. If you spend 20 mins on hold you will get dropped at 130 when they go on lunch. Somehow worse than CVS.

The wait at this pharmacy is ridiculous. It has been TERRIBLE ever since the previous pharmacist, Raj, left. I am hoping another pharmacy is going in next door so I can switch

We walked in and the cashier ignored us as we waited in at the register no one was in line it was not busy at all and he finally walked up and asked us "what?" My mom asked him to put cash on her chime card and he said ok. We were counting our money and he said UNFORTUNATLEY I NEED THE MONEY and i wltold him im counting it PLEASE DO NOT RUSH ME. Gave him the cash and NOW HE HAS AN ATTITUDE AND SLAMMING THINGS AROUND. We go shop and come back now we waited patiently and after he helped a customer he turned his back on us and ignored us and the other employee was staring at me but never spoke to us. A customer comes up and she walks away and he was just unprofessional too.

Worst pharmacy ever. I pick up half of my daughters prescriptions and ask when the rest will ready. The tech consults the pharmacist and then tells me the rest will be ready in about 20 minutes, I show back up 30 minutes later and they tell me the pharmacist stepped out for a while. Another 20 hrs later and it's still not ready so I call and get someone on the phone and am told they are still working on it. Good thing it was only a severe ear infection and not something life threatening. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I have been shopping at various Walgreens for 18 years and I have never experienced anything bad, but on 8-4-2022 at the Walgreens on 2400 George Washington Memorial Highway Yorktown, VA store number 10453; that all changed.Police were called by the shift leader Shelby Joyner. He exaggerated the situation and wasted the police time.I also called 911 and let them know I was waiting outside and I was not leaving and was not armed.Police were very nice and stated that he might be having a bad day. That does not give someone the liberty to mistreat anyone! The officers told me to call cooperate and the BBB.Cashier Charlie Chance needs to be promoted! Charlie even told Shelby he didn't need to call the police twice. Charlie did his best to defuse the situation and even suggested to him an alternative. He still was determined to be irate and disrespectful to me. It is a shame how people act when they assume or feel that they have some authority.All of this happened because Charlie was honoring a price that was posted. Charlie never asked Shelby for any assistance Shelby inserted himself into my transaction for no reason.

I continue to be impressed by this Walgreens pharmacy staff and lead male pharmacist. After a bad incident with a Rite Aid pharmacy off J. Clyde regarding a child COVID series mistake we switched our vaccination shots to this Walgreens for our children. Both times (one for my son's COVID booster and again today for his and my flu shots) the staff were wonderful. Great customer service, it's clear they enjoy their job and each other. Most of all, the male pharmacist who gave my son his shots both times is VERY patient, professional and accommodating to my son's fear of shots. I highly recommend this Walgreens location for your vaccination needs.

Sadly it seems a continual problem with the pharmacy failing to follow through on what they say. At least 3x now, I call, they give me a pu time, I then arrive at the states time only to be told that it’s not ready - and the pharmacist is out for one reason or another.Then I wait in the parking lot with a promise to move my script to the front and contact me when ready…& every time I have to get back in line (after waiting in the parking lot for 30 minutes) because the call never comes. This is the closest Walgreens to my home or I would’ve left ages ago.

I previously wrote the review below because of long wait times for vaccines. However want to add this review because of service today and change to 5 stars. We had Covid tests today. It couldn’t have gone better. Thank you!Previous visits: Do not comes here for vaccinations! For first vaccine in early Feb 2022, although we were 15 minutes early, we didn’t get called till 30 minutes after our appointment time. Now today we’ve been waiting almost an hour past our appointment time and still haven’t been called. Why make patients make an appointment if you’re not going to keep them!!!

I had an appointment for vaccines. Waited more than 40 minutes past my scheduled time. Pharmacist wouldn't provide tech with vaccines/paperwork even though she asked three times and 5 people were waiting. I can't believe his attitude guess he doesn't care about patients, appointments or business at this location.

I had my prescription sent here on 31 May 2022 at 2:30 PM. I showed up at 5 PM at the drive thru only to find 5 cars waiting in line. I decided to wait, but the car at the window took 10 minutes to complete it's order. So I got out of line and went inside only to find 10 people waiting in line. There was only one attendant splitting her time between the drive thru and the people inside. They finally called another attendant in to help out, which did help. After 40 minutes of waiting, I got to the attendant and was told my prescription was not ready (time was 5:40 PM). I was shocked and furious. I left in disgust.I come back after work on 1 June 2022 at 5:00 PM, at the drive thru, and was told I had to wait for the pharmacist to come back, but could not wait at the window, and was told I had to drive around and get back in line. This infuriated me even more. When I got back to the window, the attendant handed me my prescription and I didn't need to talk to the pharmacist after all. I will never have my prescriptions delivered to this pharmacy again due to extremely poor customer service and super long wait times.

I have had so many problems with this pharmacy. Prescriptions are NEVER ready, no matter if I wait 2-3 days to pick up. They don’t call if they are out of medication also, when you go to pick it up they will say they are out. I have had appointments for vaccinations and waited almost an hour, or more even though I set up an appointment. There is never enough help behind the counter. It is the worst Walgreens I have ever dealt with.

I was given what I thought was Bactrim for my mother Tues February 8th for her foot infection when I got back to her house I realized the bag said prilosec. When I got back to the store the girl acted like I some how magically switched the medicines and was lying. Took 3 freaking hours to finally get the medicine she needed after being treated like a thief. They had to go check their cameras to make sure that's what happened. I have never been treated with such disrespect and disconcern. When I went inside and asked to speak to a manager they said they would get her and I was completely ignored for the next 20 minutes. I apologized for being upset because I was called a thief AND GETTING UPSET ABOUT IT and somebody finally talked to me. Wow! So I'm gonna have to go back there because that is the only place my mother will get her meds. BUT BRAVO WALGREENS FOR BEING JERKS! Plus they gave me meds that we have to turn into her doctor because I already had picked those up!

Worst pharmacy experience ever. They wait forever to check their fax line from the night before and don’t have a sense of urgency when filling prescriptions. They made my daughter wait, who had a UTI, about 13 hours for her prescription. The staff, especially the young, short brunette pharmacist, is rude and they have no joy or excitement to their personalities. They do not care about their patients and seem quite jaded. I would recommend going somewhere else.

The store is great! The pharmacy could be better, the waiting time at window pick up was over 50 minutes and the cars kept on linning up. There was 2 young pharmacist manning the front, the window and the back, very nice and going as fast as possible. Most times in the evening seems to be a problem with waiting time, something needs to be done.

Google maps indicates the store opens at 8am. Having a sick grandson, I was there at 8 only to find the pharmacy doesn’t open until 9am. Really, a drug store opens at 8 but you can’t get drugs until 9. I guess pharmacist are like bankers, they need extra sleep. I will find another pharmacy immediately. The business owner’s should take a look at all of the one star reviews given to this store and address their problems that exist.

You have to wait extra extra long for your prescriptions because people signing up for Covid 19 shots take priority. This is a pharmacy not a doctors office. My prescription was called in by doctor one day earlier and they said I had to wait for pharmacist giving Covid 19 shots had to sign off on my medicine. If it's OK with my doctor to prescribe who gives the pharmacist a say in my healthcare? Excuse for their lack of time management. Six people working and people standing in line while they stand around talking. The Walgreens in NC blows these people out of the water!!! Home office needs to check out their work processes. Walmart is quicker.

Not usually one to leave negative reviews, but this Walgreens potentially jeopardized a very important flight. I was told my 24 hour Covid test results would be delivered via email by the end of the day. Still haven't gotten it and it's the next morning. Fortunately, I got a 72 hour covid test prior which arrived in 36 hours from a different Walgreens. Used those results to get into airport. Here's the difference between the 2 and the primary reason I'm writing this. The 24 hour covid test was supposed to be done ON SITE by this particular store. No sending to a lab in a different location and waiting for an email. No. These folks were supposed to do it themselves. If I didn't have foresight, I could've potentially missed my flight. End of the day, indeed.

Look, I know you're busy, I was happy to wait, but that was so rude, now in order to address an issue that requires human interaction I have to get back into the queue... So inconsiderate.

The head pharmacist is a jerk. I used CVS for years without problems. When my insurance switched to Walgreens I really was bummed. That was before the pharmacist decided to call my doctor for each and every prescription she wrote for me. I waited over two weeks once, calling back and forth between them trying to get things straight. When I'd had enough and switched to a different Walgreens, he called and said I was switching between pharmacies and so he was calling to check that. He basically assumed I was doing something wrong, even though she repeatedly told him I was doing exactly what I was told. She let me know he kept calling her office for nothing and she had never seen the like. I got tired of waiting for him to release the pharm tech's and give them permission to fill my prescriptions, even they would be confused and apologetic. The other location down toward Food Lion is much more professional and courteous.

Do not print photos here. The quality is garbage. Prints come out with lines and poor resolution even with high res images. Half price and better quality across the street.Pharmacy: I've been on hold for 40 minutes waiting to speak to a pharmacist.

One of the worse stores, rude pharmacy group, lack of knowledge. Several times it did happen that they called and said the medicine is ready, I went there after 30 min in the line, they said they do not even have the medicine and they are out of stock.

They always lie about how long prescriptions take to fill. Somehow they never get the escripts written by your doctor. They should recategorize this store as "circus" instead of pharmacy.

Came for passport photos. They answered their phone line, knew where to go. Also picked up some gift cards, looks like they normally have more but its the day before teacher appreciation.
