🗣️⚠️ ALERT 🚨 PLEASE READ‼️ Decided to have a sweet treat after church with my kiddo. Ordered the Avalanche Slushie. It was a nice day so we played while waiting. When order was ready I immediately noticed there was a small FLY-LIKE BUG 🐜 on the rim of the cup 🚩 I figured because we were outside it may have just landed there. Because it wasn’t directly on the drink I got it off and thought nothing more of it. As I ate my slushie I kept noticing these little BLACK SPECKS 🧐 but couldn’t make out what it was. ⚠️ When the drink melted and just liquid remained in the cup there WERE A BUNCH OF FRUIT FLIES FLOATING IN THE JUICE‼️ Then I realized 😵 EXACTLY what those lil black specks 🐜🐜🐜 were 🤮 I had been LITERALLY DRINKING LITTLE PIECES OF BUGS‼️ 🤢 I ordered two different flavors and tried calling to warn the staff but no answer. This business is in IMMEDIATE NEED OF A ❌ HEALTH INSPECTION‼️ I strongly question the cleanliness and storage methods used at this establishment 🛑 Hopefully this matter is addressed and resolved IMMEDIATELY 🤞 Until then get your cold treats 🍧🍦 from WAWAs or Cold Stone✨

I have always loved pelicans! Not only do they have an excellent selection of flavors and toppings but they also have a wonderful owner. Ms. Lisa and her team have always greeted myself and every customer with a smile. They are willing to take the time to explain flavors and even allow you to have samples. This place is very family friendly, clean and a wonderful small business that fits perfectly here in Yorktown. If you're ever passing by please stop in and experience this for yourself! This is probably my favorite place in Yorktown. I come here at least 2 a week. And because of my unique order (EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA marshmallows) the owner calls me the marshmallow girl.What I love about this location, is that regardless of how busy they are, they are extremely pleasant. They work fast to get the line down and just have amazing customer service.Outside of New Orleans, these are the best snow cones I’ve ever had. They have so many flavors… the combinations are literally endless. Not to mention the numerous toppings. I try a new flavor every single time I go.If you’re in the area, it’s worth the visit.

I usually don't care for Shaved ice/ snow cones/ snoballs because the syrup is so sweet. However, this place has something for everyone....some are sweet, some sour, some less sweet. Really good stuff. I got the Bahama Mama, while the husband and kids got Tigers Blood and Sour Tsunami (which strangely tastes exactly like I had thought it would). We will be going again!

Snow cone is great! Try the stuffed strawberry cheesecake with condensed milk on top!… only thing that I don’t like about the experience is the wait. I waited 30 minutes to order with only 2 people infront of me. Both times I had to wait a very long time.

This place is great I'm not a real big snowcone eater but my wife is we go here almost every day. I can't say enough about the owner she is doing a great job and I have owned a snowcone stand so I know what I'm saying.To the owner you are do great keep up the good work.

Awful service we were in line for over 30 minutes. Once we finnaly got served the "snow cone" was flat and without any gummy. This visit was not pleaserable and was very overpriced. One worker was yelling at the others because they are not trained and are making them incorrectly. This saddens me that this business has gone downhill so badly. Do not go you will end up with some flavored water.

Went and they were closed despite being during business hours and commented my concerns that are now deleted. I was not the only person who had this complaint. A notice or posting would’ve been nice to not inconvenience people

Such a great local treat in Yorktown. Perfect for a quick evening outing. There is no indoor seating, but plenty of picnic tables and benches outside. Sometimes the line looks s little longer, but I've never waited more than five minutes or so. It's not about how fast you get your sboball, it's about the whole experience of waiting for it. Talking to your neighbors while waiting in line, letting your kids run around the seating area. It's a great place, you should go!

So many flavor options! Part of our summer tradition now is to go to the beach or trampoline park and then come get a snow cone. My oldest always wants to try the weirdest combo's dill pickle and dragons' blood for example. If the flavors have a name, they also include a description of what it will taste like. They are super nice there are picnic tables, and chairs to sit on. You can also ask them to make it for you to take to go. My kids love it and we can make it a regular thing because the prices are fair.

5 star rating for everything but overall the wait is less then desirable, especially in the evenings. They are a perfect treat and more flavors then one could imagine. They even have Dill Pickle flavor!!?!? If that floats your boat 😉 our favorite is watermelon, grape, banana, and the kids love Superman flavor which reminds me of tuti fruity, quite good.

Amazing seasonal crushed ice/ice cream place. So many flavors and flavor combinations to choose from, you could come here for years and never get the same thing twice! Great on a hot summer day. I definitely recommend 👌🏼

I absolutely love the snowballs here they’re so fluffy and have great flavor! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of the music. They play extremely loud christian music. It really ruins the experience of a great snowball. Please consider putting on some other type of music

I have family that lives somewhat close to one of your locations. I was a newbie. The line was kinda long but moved quickly. It is the best I have ever had. Flavor texture.... and over 100 flavors. My granddaughter counted I believe she said 112. Something to keep us entertained as we waited in line. Can't wait to come again. Hopefully yet this year.

Fun atmosphere and a ton of flavors! You can even mix them. Blueberry cheesecake anyone? My favorite has to be dill pickle though. Don't knock it until you try it. They also have the perfect syrup to ice ratio so it isn't too sweet but just right. 👍🏼👍🏼

We've been to multiple Pelican's SnoBalls across several states, so we were excited to see this location when we've moved here, thinking we would visit regularly. This is by far the worst location. Service is slow and the taste/ice to syrup ratio is off. Attempted to visit today to see if things had turned around and no one was there to open the store at the time posted. We will not be returning.

Missed this place when the moved out of Gloucester. Now they're bigger and better. My daughter was in snowcone and ice cream heaven. We watched another customer's dog also thoroughly enjoying his pup cone. They thought of everything.

The best part (for my family) is they are DIABETIC FRIENDLY! Low carb (sugar free!) snowballs are available! And they can add ice cream to a snowball, that's an option I've never seen before! Great place for the whole family, for a quick stop in the SHADE for the best snowballs!

The liquid juice for the snowball tasted very cheap an artificial. Very cheap tasting snowball. I’m from down south, I know a good snowball, these aren’t it. Sorry.

Never had a snowball before, but....OMG !!! I would have posted a picture but we ate it so fast because it was that good. We are going back again tomorrow! !! They have tons of flavors to choose from and it just melts in your mouth. Oh so good. It isn't like a snow cone with ice crystals, it's WAY better. You have to try it, you won't be disappointed.
