Today was my first time at the clinic, and I thought the vet was patient and kind to my pup, but the front desk experience was unprofessional. I arrived 30 minutes early, and she said to wait and would take me in around my appointment at 830. So my kiddos and I went to Dunkin’ Donuts, got a few things, and was going to stay in the car till 830. When I pulled up, it was around 817, and she was trying to call me inside. I pointed to my sandwich, and I said let me finish my sandwich, and I will be in before 830. She came out a second time to my window around 822 and said I needed to get inside the vet waiting. I told her that my appointment was at 8:30 and that I would be in once I was done with my sandwich, and she pretty much told me I needed to put my sandwich down and get inside the vet clinic because they were trying to get people in early so they can leave early. I looked at her with an OK expression, continued to finish my sandwich, and walked inside. It was such a weird experience to have someone tell me to put my food down before my scheduled appointment.

The interaction at this vet felt overly focused on sales. When I inquired about charges, I was deemed rude for asking direct questions. I ultimately sought care elsewhere and paid a quarter of the quoted price. Thankfully, the new vet identified the issue, but it was too late to save my pet. Had the initial vet diagnosed sooner, I might have been aware of my pet's limited time.

By proxy, my belief is the vet world should adopt a “Do no Harm” policy for their patients and owners. Gouging pet owners through poor diagnoses and delayed action is a sad way to do business with people who want the best for their four-legged family. Do Better.

Grafton Animal Hospital does such a good job taking care of my black-capped conure, Zorro. Besides being his excellent vets, providing regular checkups, nail trims, and er services for his mishaps, we have also boarded him there and he returns home happy and well-cared for.

I boarded Jasper there for the first time. I took a tour first and met the lead kennel tech and we discussed Jasper's needs. The morning I dropped him off she came out and got on the floor to meet him. I got his Camper card when I picked him up and he did very well for his first time. I was pleasantly surprised as he is a very nervous dog.

I took my 20 year old Timneh African Grey in to see Dr. Neuhaus. She came highly recommended and I can see why. She answered all of my questions, drew me a picture of my birds body to explain . Would 100% recommend.

I brought my pet Conure here for boarding as well as a wellness check, as she had just recently turned a year old. She stayed at Grafton Animal Hospital for 6 nights. I was very pleased with the care their team provided my bird. I was very very nervous about her being in anyone else’s care, especially since she can be difficult at times. The team was communicative with me while I was away, on labs I wanted done, her exam and overall well-being during her stay. Even got the cutest little camper card with some comments on her behavior and helped me carry her cage in and out to the car. Very happy that I can trust their team to take care of her if I ever need to travel again. Thank you for everything! :) Will absolutely be back.

We had to bring my sisters dog in this week to be put to sleep. The way the staff treated us was honestly amazing. They shut down their entire lobby just for us since the dog couldn't walk well. They did not rush us one bit and explained every step of the process with us so it didn't seem as scary. They even asked if we wanted a bit of her fur have as a keepsake item to remember her. I was so impressed by all of it. 10/10

They were very nice, the establishment was super organized and clean. My dog suffers anxiety and they were very alert to it and willing to work with her. They were also prompt, and gave us great advice on their wellness plans and future care for our sweet gal.

They are extremely professional and are handling everything everything appropriately during this pandemic. I am so glad that they took my hamster in. After calling every other exotic vet, this was the first place that asked,”What are her symptoms?” No other animal hospital asked about the condition of my pet even though they were booked. The vet was booked at Grafton, too, but was extremely kind enough to squeeze her into their schedule because of the declining health of my pet. I am so thankful for their help and would highly recommend this place. They were so kind and helpful. They broke the news to me professionally and kindly. Thank you, Grafton. I truly appreciate your kindness and professionalism.Though I do not recommend euthanasia here for your fur baby. The prices are ridiculous.. They gave me a sheet of the estimated costs after my pet’s visit and the prices are extremely high.

I could literally write a novel about Grafton Animal Hospital because everyone is so wonderful there! They were there for me and our sweet bird daughter when times were hard. They called me and sent cards....just genuinely cared and the staff means so much to me. Now we have another bird daughter and they are tending to her in the best of ways as well! The staff and doctors are VERY knowledgeable and helpful. My questions are ALWAYS answered. I have never felt rushed. I always feel comfortable there. Sadly, many places push for money on unnecessary tests and things of that nature. Grafton Animal Hospital does not do this and it's a relief. They explain the benefits of certain things and leave it in your hands. They also give very quick and accurate quotes. And honestly, their rates for exotic pets are much lower than I have seen online at other places in the past. I must say that the staff treats your pets like children so it's almost as if they are going to the pediatrician's office :)

Wonderful and knowledgeable staff. We can in for our appointment and were promptly helped into the exam room. Both my dogs loved the vet and all the assistants. They made sure my dogs felt comfortable being there and not stressed out. Neither dog minded getting updated with their shots. Would continue bringing my pets back.

Very grateful 🙏 to have found them! We lost one bird and needed to get our other bird assessed and they got us in quickly and were very informative and efficient. Glad we took her in because she definitely has something going on. They came out with our baby and gave us a quick show of how to administer medicine (with a stuffed birdie) which I thought was great. Doctor was thorough and took time explaining her diagnosis. Glad to know they are there with an exotic team. Thanks to everyone there from Roo-b and her humans.

I have been taking my German Shepherd to Grafton for about 4 years now. He isn't thrilled about going to the vet's office and therefore can be a big 90 pound baby! The staff at Grafton Animal Hospital is top notch. They are always patient and loving with him. They take the time to answer questions and discuss any concerns I have. I have seen several of the doctors here and they're all fantastic. I feel very confident that my dog is well cared for. While we have not used boarding services here, I would not hesitate to use them if needed. In addition, I appreciate the friendly manner in which we are always greeted. They also call to check on my dog after visits, sometimes more than once, and it is obvious they care about their patients. I wouldn't take my baby anywhere else.

My dog loves the entire staff. I literally mean LOVE. She gets excited to see them. They are welcoming, friendly, helpful, etc. They are so caring and take time to get to know the animals and really see what's going on with them. And then, they take the time to explain it all to the human. There's boarding available with a variety of options. They treat a wide array of animals and are knowledgeable about them. If you need a vet, this is the place to go.

Very impressed by my first visit to Grafton Animal Hospital!Just moved into area and brought my Caique for an exam and beak trim. Dr. Neuhaus and staff proved to be friendly, knowledgeable and caring! They took excellent care of my bird and gave me some thoughtful tips regarding diet and foraging for my parrots. Based on initial visit, I made appointments for my other birds as I’m confident that they will be in good hands!

If I could give this place 20 stars I would. Even with the madness of Covid, they were so prompt with everything with my fur baby. We had to make the most difficult decision to put her down and the kindness they treated us just went above and beyond. They allowed our family to come in and say goodbye to our family member and even allowed me to just stay and grieve our loss even after she was gone for as long as I wanted/needed. They never rushed me. They checked in often and made sure I knew that I made the right decision, even though it didn’t feel right.They told us it would take a week or 2 to get the ashes back and we got a call like 2 days later saying she was ready to come back home to us. She was put in a beautiful wood box and they even did a paw print in clay with her name on it!Even after all that, less then 2 weeks later, we received the sweetest card in the mail with a bunch a little sweet messages in it for our family even though they barely knew us and our baby.I will never see another vet in the area and will always recommend them. They go above and beyond and just their kindness and warmth really made the difficult time a little bit easier.Thank you so much to this staff for everything!

Grafton Animal Hospital is great. Their staff really cares about animals and treat mine like their own. Dr. Moore is an absolute professional and a skilled surgeon. She takes the time to study and stay up to date on new info in the medical field to ensure my dogs are getting top notch care. My dogs are always excited to go in. Would definitely recommend!

I took my bearded dragon here due to it not acting normal.i was greeted by a pleasant and courteous staff, who handed us the paperwork and quickly got us back into the room for our appointment which was quite easy to get. I was then spoken with by a very intelligent well versed in her field exotic veterinarian, she spoke with us about how we were treating and keeping our bearded dragon, and gave us much appreciated advice on how to improve the dragons upkeep. She then took him to the back did a preliminary check over, had her nurse come out and thoroughly explain a much cheaper bill than expected, we confirmed the bill and she took care of my dragon quickly and with much care. I was very impressed with this place and they will get my business from now on. Thank you for all you did to improve Lokis condition.

Seriously such an amazing vet. Just took my two ball pythons in and they were super thorough, and overall just amazing. Took the time to answer any question I had, and made sure I could give them the treatment before sending us home. 12/10 would recommend to anyone, reptiles or anything else. The staff was kind and caring. The doctor was polite and pleasant. My dogs were just getting rabie shots and are well otherwise. The thing I would like to emphasize is always get a price clarification and what will be done before the visit. I did not think about their are dogs that are to sick to get rabie shot and that a physical exam is always needed to see if they are strong enough.Having said this my price went up into almost $$.Although, I was give a courtesy reduction because one of my dogs had been there last of last year., which was great for me. But it can hurt your wallet not knowing a head of time what your cost will be when visit is over.Ask first the price, so you can pay after the visit.

The staff here is really awesome. I'm always able to secure an appointment either same day or next, and Dr. Neuhaus is absolutely wonderful. She's treated three of my birds, when issues have risen, and she's incredibly gentle, sympathetic, knowledgable and thorough with her examinations, and will lay out all options on the table, but let you decide the best course of action, without pressure, but with guidance.Not many places treat birds, and some that I have been to, don't seem to have the enthusiasm and interest in caring for my small budgies, as she does.Grafton is pricier than other vets I have gone to, but it's very worth it, and I won't go anywhere else.
