The Yorktown location has always had a great selection of women's clothes. I walk out with a big bag or two when I go with the intention of looking through all of the racks. I have always wished that Goodwill organized by size instead of color so that the time I spend looking wouldn't take as long. I am always impressed with the amount of brand name items, often with tags still attached, that I find. The housewares and book section has been lacking during the past few years. I used to find lots of books, especially cookbooks, and now there's only a few small shelves worth with typically no cookbooks.

I have been shopping and dropping off donations at this Goodwill location for years and more frequently over the past year/continuing into this year - I have been doing more drop offs at the donation site than any actual shopping inside (though that’s always been a great place for finding some good deals on awesome stuff so I def recommend checking them out too!) but just due to the fact we are trying to downsize and make some space - donations only of late 😂That said - I would like to comment that every time I stop by with more donations out front of the donation center - I am always pleasantly greeted and assisted with unloading my donations.Martinez in particular is often there when I chance to drop by with more donations and I’d like to share that he is always so very kind and helpful! Thank you so much!

One of our recurring stops in the way to Virginia Beach. Always something new on the shelves. This time we found wall decor, clothes and a unique tea pot. Well organized and clean store. Easy access from Route 17.

A little pricey for second hand stuff. Things from the Dollar Tree are priced at $3.75! Plenty to look at and if your item is tagged the color of the day, you might actually get a good deal. Edit: today's visit shows that prices have gone up again! Fortunately we did score a pair of shoes for half the price expected. So, it's always worth a look ... on the chance you'll find a hidden treasure.

Coming back to give a shout-out to Jeri and Andrew! I came up to ask a "special case" kind of question and Andrew expressed genuine interest as he paged Jeri over and then SHE expressed genuine interest too as she answered my question. Then later Andrew saw me browsing and asked how the thing ended up getting resolved.--------Loretta is one of those kind, authentic cashiers that make you remember that cashiering used to be a white collar job!Also the clothes selection/variety is especially good compared to other locations.

After having a huge garage sale we took 2 loads of things to the store. These were items that were in great shape - including some beautiful handmade wreaths and delicate glass. Upon arrival we found the employee sitting inside very reluctant to even help unload. We were told to "drop all your stuff into the big cardboard bins so that we can sort through it". He had little to no regard to trying to see that the things we donated remained in sellable shape. Given this we won't be donating to them in the future. Very disappointing. Made us feel as if what we were donating was trash.......

Good clean place. I go in to browse lamps, lighting, and all things electrical. I find pretty good things. Tho some r dirty or cracked (like power strips) or missing pieces. They need to be reduced as these r priced the same as the similar "intact and clean" items. Take your time and u will find nice-taken-care of-items and cash out.

Prices are about average for a goodwill. Slightly higher than the ones in Kentucky. Clothes have a set price and other items are priced individually or as a set. They have discounts some days based on the color or the sticker so you could potentially get a really good deal. Overall the quality of clothes and items was great (better than the other thrifts I've been to) and everything is organized by color for those who get a sense of satisfaction from that. And I mean everything, not just clothes.

Absolutely the worst Goodwill I have gone to in my entire life! It's not even a real goodwill to begin with, they aren't even associated with the real company! The store is super unclean, dirty, messy and just disgusting! Everything was extremely overpriced and nothing is under $2.50. In NE you could buy things for $0.49 and $0.99 easily. And every day there would be colored clothing on sale like, the things with purple tags were $0.49 and the blue tags were $0.99. I found a prom dresses for $0.99 once at my NE location! I will absolutely never come back to this store, or give it my stuff! This store relies on people's donations to stay open and the fact that everything is overpriced is ridiculous. The only reason why I don't give it a one star is because my cashier was nice. Other than that, never again.

The store is well laid out. The staff seems to be paying attention since it doesn't look like the stock has been rummaged through. It's a clean store.One thing to keep in mind about Goodwill is that it is not a true non-profit organization as the name might imply. Research the business model on the internet before "donating" to the organization. It is a place where you can find a bargain however.

Items are marked wrong and they will charge you a different price at checkout. They have a sheet of paper at the front counter they go by and not what the signs say in the aisles. They will just say the aisles are marked wrong. At least that's what the blond girl that was working the registers at 6:20 on October 14, 2019 said..
