I don’t even know how to start this. But here we go, this foodlion has the worst customer service I had an interaction with almost everyone in that store. The worst one I would say is Donna super rude disrespectful and racist. The first time I had a transaction with her she checking my things out she didn’t acknowledge that I was standing there didn’t even greet me I said good morning and she didn’t reply back and she started to talk to the next customer while she is checking my things out she ringed one of my items twice and I asked her nicely if she can go back and check she rolled her Eyes and stated “where I don’t see it” and argued with me that I’m wrong and I have a problem with the pricing I told her I see you rang it twice she wasn’t paying attention and when she looked deeper into her screen she seen it and was super rude about it didn’t apologise and blamed me. The next time I was in there I tried to avoid her but she was the only register open I had no choice didn’t greet me was super rude to me again and when I asked about the doughnuts if they were buy one free instead of answering again she was rude and stated you always have a problem with the pricing and whatever I don’t care. I’m telling you the worst worst customer service. Someone has to do something with her a coaching a class on customer services. All employees work there have really bad customer services. Even the quality of the fresh fruits are rotten and not fresh nothing ever stocked right and they don’t have the sale prices correct. Overall experience there is the worst if I can give it zero stars I would.

Clean and well stocked Food Lion. Still a great place to shop with good customer service. Picked up a few grap and go Italian subs this time for $3.99, a great bargain and very delicious 😋

I go here on my Dr Visits once a week I met and remembered every cashier and stocker. I love this store shelves always fully stocked. Excellent service all around.

Decent store, but the lines are always long because they never have enough checkstands open, and there are no self-checkout options. Honestly, we avoid this location now because of it.

Edited: Unfortunately I had an interaction with a new manger 10/20/2023 around 9:30 pm when my sister and I were harassed by a female manger threatening to not sell us alcohol because we look young. I'm 24 my sister 21 and my boyfriend 26 were yelled at from across the isle that we would be ID checked at check out while we were shopping for wine. Our roommate drove us because we already had some drinks that night and was waiting in the car for us. This manager claimed she would refuse to sell to us the next time we come in the store based on her personal power trip. There is no law or store policy that says every person in our vehicle must be 21 for us to purchase alcohol. When we questioned why she was yelling this at us, she simply states she can refuse to sell to us. Even the cashier, a sweet older lady whom I see everytime I come in, was visibly uncomfortable. At no point did our roommate even touch alcohol she simply walked us in then said she wanted to wait for us in the car since we needed to get some other grocery items and she wanted to call her boyfriend. Either way, we do not need to explain ourselves. Horrible experience being harassed by a manger because of our appearance is ridiculous and uncalled for! We were clearly targeted, discriminated against and harassed on a Friday night in our local grocery store we go to constantly. This store needs to seriously consider who they hire to manage. You would think with the nice area we are in you wouldn't have to deal with trashy behavior displayed by this manager.

Wow! Been ordering online,for lil over a year but got to stop in,this time-- staff/ cashiers awesome, cordial, helpful!! Shocked!! Haven' t seen that in a while or the MVP glazed donuts on sale, 2/$5.00 a dozen!Ate 6 by the time I got home!! Tasted Just like when I was a kid-- ate them like that too.I love Food Lion!! Keep up great work!!

Very busy and often understaffed. Employees should be better compensated and given more hours so they're not spread so thin. Store is great tho. Employees are nice, cashiers are fast, stockers are helpful and knowledgeable and the people getting carts are definitely working their butts off in this heat. Good store

I needed 40 pounds of ground beef on the fly. I called and talked to Lisa at the patriots square location in Yorktown Virginia. I needed 40 pounds of ground beif she was able to get it ready for me and then called to follow up to see if I was happy. Everyone needs to go here. She needs to be promoted.

Ordering and supply issues continue to plague these stores. Some items, like regular milk, either no one buys or they have no supply issues since there is never a vacancy on the shelf; where as others, like organic milk, have hardly any stock, regardless of brand. Their purchasing restrictions don't do them any favors either. Otherwise, clean and pleasant, both store an employees.

The store is clean and organized. The prices are average. Like any store that uses a shopper's card, the prices are high if you do not use the card. They run fairly decent sales. There are no self-service checkouts, but there are typically adequate registers open.

Newly remodeled store. Clean stock and organized. If you're used to shopping there they've moved a lot of stuff around. Seems like they got a new manager staff is somewhat friendlier. Seems like they made the produce department little bit smaller with less of a selection more less like your standard items. They've expanded the Health and Beauty Department. Meat department looks okay. Overall a good shopping experience.

DELI IS ALWAYS CLOSED. We have visited the Deli 10 times - YES 10 times in the past 2 months and it is ALWAYS CLOSED. Staff is not consistent with their hours and they close whenever they want. THE STORE MANAGER NEEDS TO POST DELI HOURS AND MAKE THEIR STAFF RESPECT THEM! Otherwise neighbors will find another store to buy from. This is something we are having conversations about. We are EXHAUSTED ABOUT the inconsistency and lazy staff in the DELI. FIX THIS!

This store definitely needs to work on customer service training of its younger employees. The young caucasian (male) clerk at register 3 on Christmas Eve, rung up my items without acknowledging myself or any of the other customers in front of me, kept his airpods on the entire time, and handed me my receipt without saying thank you, have a nice day or anything. He came across as extremely rude. I am strongly considering not spending my money here. Some people still value manners, courtesy and customer service while shopping.

Food Lion is good depending on the area. Lots of grocery stores cater to the target demographics taste in the area. If you are outta town and your are looking for a fresh refreshing bite of something then I would try wholefoods.

Great store. Good selection of groceries. Newly renovated, very clean. If you have the MVP card, your total could be much lover, as they constantly run the MVP promotions. They also accept coupons and have an app where they have more coupons and rewards programs

It's a nice food lion. That's why I go all the way there from where I live to buy groceries instead of the food lion near me on warwick blvd. It's a better ran storem it's got cleaner fresher produce, the staff is friendly always willing to help and their meat is freshIt's now Nov 29 2022We no longer shop at that food lion. It's bad..high prices picked over veggiesFrozen food isn't great and if you by your meat and poultry there you better use it in the same night you buy it or freeze it because it will go bad before the expiration date. Their lunchmeat..I won't ever buy it again from the deli. It's slimy and goes bad fast.It's a shame too because when I moved back home here in 2020 it was such a nice kept clean well stocked store. We now shop only at Kroger

We are on vacation and I have never shopped at Food Lion before. The prices seemed competitive, items were easy to find, staff were friendly and helpful, and COVID guidelines were followed with masks required and extra cart cleaning.

Ugh! Ordered on the app. Delivery. Missing 2 items and had an item I did not order. Called the store and they said. “We don’t deliver” I don’t have paper to write anything down, hold on” I said I got delivery, they said who did you order from? I said “The Foodlion App” they said “maybe the other store?” After calling 2 stores, I was given an Instagram # for refund and had to go to store to buy missing items.
