We stopped by to see inventory we had spotted online. We decided to go ahead and buy, and Tony, Arnold, Crystal, and the cookie lady took great care of us, answered all of our questions, and were ONLY helpful and sincere. Everyone at Dodd is calm and competent and they really seem to enjoy interacting with customers. I asked Caleb dumb questions while he set up our hitch and he took the time to patiently explain everything he was doing. I really can’t think of anything negative to say about the experience

We cant rave enough about the customer service and sense of family you will receive when partnering with Dodd RV to find your perfect home away from home.. From start to finish, it really was white glove.We did a ton of research ahead of time and generally knew what we wanted upon arriving, so it didn’t take long to find our perfect fit. When it came time for what is usually viewed as the most dreaded part - financing - Arnold’s quick wit and great personality put us at ease and made it enjoyable. We left feeling comfortable and knowledgeable, as opposed to many other places around that are focused on rushing you through that part of the process.We are so happy with our purchase of the 2024 Grand Design Momentum toy hauler and will absolutely be back!

I just picked up my first Keystone Bullet Crossfire today. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with first timers (me) when it comes to learning components, setup, and accessories advice. Big shout out to Corey who was extremely helpful since day one! He's about making sure customer's come first and will offer you the best advice on what camping setup best suits you.

We just completed our purchase of a brand new Forest River FR3 30DS from Dodd RV and Marine. From ordering it to closing and the walk-through, Jamie, Scott, Arnold, Trent, and Crystal took great care to make sure our buying experience was enjoyable. We bought our Forest River Signature 11 months ago and have really enjoyed it. We took it in for some warranty work last week to get a few things looked at and fixed. Working with Crystal, in service, was a great experience. I appreciated her quick response to my questions and when a part needed to be ordered and a new appointment made she was able to do that quickly and planned our return when it is good for us. (we are full-time RVers).

I did not purchase my Rockwood from Dodd as I was looking for a specific floorplan that was very hard to find. But I have interacted with the sales team in the process of looking, and most recently the parts and service department. The location in Yorktown is well organized and has anything you need for your RV (even a clearance rack!). I had my travel trailer serviced there recently to replace a wind-damaged awning. They did a great job. Suzanne knows campers better than anyone I have ever met. She was very helpful and I appreciate meeting her. They will even do one-off projects like install a water port and it will look factory! She even explained/showed me all the weak points on the roof and how to stay ahead of them. Thanks Suzanne and Dodd!

I don’t know where to start. Purchased a brand new rv from here and it has been nothing but problems. The gas lines broke and lost all the propane. Contacted dodds and they told me they would order new lines and then told me I had to drive up to get them. Then the camper flooded because the water valve didn’t close all the way and the floor is starting to swell. I reach out to them and they informed me that I would have to make an insurance claim with my insurance company to fix the issue. It’s under 10 months old. The thermostat for the ac went out and I called and I was told it would be months before they could look at it. I reached out to furrion and they sent me the parts for free and then I had to install them because dodds could not get to it for months. Then I lost the second set of gas lines and I didn’t even bother calling. I ask to speak to the manager there and all he did was tell me to tow it back 3 hours each time and like I told him that gets costly each time and they should help because of all the problems I have had with this thing. Now the problem I have had is the roof is leaking and can’t get anyone on the phone. I don’t know how this place has good reviews because I would stay away from here. The sales person was awesome to deal with but the manger and the service here stinks so bad and they don’t stand by there products

Just picked up a new boat from Dodd’s. They met and definitely exceeded my expectations. Shane was my salesman and did a great job walking me through the process, and Arnold was a big help as well. Dodd’s carries some great product with great customer service. Give this York County business a look, I recommend it.

Bought new 2018 Great Wolf. Had problem with slide out leaking. Took back 3 or 4 times couldn’t find leak. They finally got it to stop leaking then. AC unit wasn’t cooling, dropping ice. Said there was not a problem. Three or four times taking it back still not fixed. Took to a different dealer got AC unit replaced. Everything good with AC. Sold unit a month ago. Guy that bought camper called and said slide out leaking again and has other leaks under tub floor needs replacing. Dodds gave me poor, poor service and very rude!! They just don’t want to bothered. Will not buy from them again!!! Would recommend going else where for whatever needed whether purchasing or service for sure!!!

We regretfully bought our RV from a large dealership near Richmond VA in 2020. We had a laundry list of repairs that needed to get done with our Brand New unit. My wife & I weren't getting anywhere with them. It was clear after we took delivery of our unit from them, we were not a priority.A friend of mine put me in contact with Suzanne at Dodd RV who is the service manager. After speaking with Suzanne, I had my unit on their lot in a matter of a week where Crystal was expecting me and had my unit looked at promptly. We just picked up our unit and Eric who did all the work did an amazing job. I rarely every write reviews, but the customer service, respect and attention to detail warranted this post.Highly recommend Dodd RV in Yorktown for your trailers service work.

Scott and Mike were so welcoming, friendly, and patient with us as we made the decision. They were there for us when we had questions or needed help, but were not pushy at all. I purchased my first RV from Dodd RV and the experience was excellent. The staff was knowledgeable and well prepared to answer all the questions I had. It seems rare nowadays that a salesman actually really knows the product he is selling. After the sale support has been fantastic. There was a small issue but an entire knew assembly was provided quickly without complaint or argument. If you want a quality experience go here to a family business instead of the giant conglomerates that rip you off with crazy contracts and hidden fees.

Wonderfully friendly people on staff here. Everyone is happy to answer questions and help in any way they can. We have spent quite a bit of time going through the extensive inventory at Dodd RV and have custom ordered a travel trailer. Robin Crane has been so patient, helpful, and understanding through the whole process. Scott, Greg, and the very sweet receptionist (I forgot her name, sorry!) have all provided a lot of assistance. I definitely understand why Dodd RV has won awards for its terrific customer service. I highly recommend this business.

Purchased a travel trailer from Dodd last year. A couple of issues at pick up that were addressed & fixed immediately. Walk thru was a bit quick but we all learn a few things as we go -so don't sweat it.Purchasing anything with all the addon's you are not sure if you need or not is stressful -Dodd did their job and we did our research. Service takes a while but ,my opinion, is there are a lot of dealers but few RV mechanics. Don't be afraid to do some of your own footwork & be patient. Everyone here has been very kind and a pleasure to work with -although Crystal is my favorite (smile). I would recommend Dodd RV.

The sales crew was very rude. The woman at the front desk was very helpful, and was clearly the only person who was interested in providing customer service. We are customers of the Portsmouth store, and they have been wonderful. There's a lot of inventory but customer service is lacking.

We found our 5th wheel online and gave Dodd RV a call. We made arrangements to come see it with Shane. He was so easy to work with as he explained everything to us. The moment we walked in and were greeted by the receptionist we were treated like a friend or a family member. They made us comfortable and relaxed and the manager was able to give us a great deal. During our pick up appointment, Arnold reviewed all the financial details with us and was very personable throughout the entire transaction. Each person we interacted with during the walk thru and purchasing of parts was so friendly and knowledgeable. We never felt rushed and had all our questions answered. Nice RV dealer, but apparently very busy. Made an appointment with Greg, but never actually saw him, or any other sales person, during our visit. Have us the freedom to roam as we pleased, but would have been nice to have questions answered regarding several models we were interested in. Will go back to view updated inventory, as they are conveniently located.

We drove an hour today to look at and probably purchase a new toy hauler. Complete waste of time. The salesman Shane had more important things to do and blew us off. We will spend our money elsewhere.
