Worst customer service. I called about my child's prescription that CVS says is not covered by insurance in their app. 3 mins on hold someone picks up the phone says can you hold a minute and immediately puts me back on hold! I waited another 17 mins in the hope they would answer! It would have took 2-5 mins to help me and they could NOT care less. I check my insurance and it's covered... so ...

Walked in to receive a new COVID-19 shot, as the website says we could. The woman who was at the front was nothing but rude and short with us and told us we’d have to speak to the pharmacist. The pharmacist was not much better at speaking to us and listening to our concerns. While the pharmacist was talking to us, the other employee continue to mutter and grumble in the background about us. The issue was not that they were not able to give the vaccine until later in the day, but their overall attitude. Will not be returning!

I entered the store at approximately 8pm. I was the only customer in the entire store and at the pharmacy pickup window. There were 3 pharmacy employees behind the pharmacy counter congregating together. Two of the employees did not look in my direction. The third employee (L*****a) glanced at me from the corner of her as she opened a sandwich and began to eat. She then hid herself down one of the pharmaceutical aisles to finish her sandwich. When done she came to the register to help me. In the mean time, the other two employees still did not look in my direction. As L*******ia approached the register she asked if I was there to pickup, I replied yes, at which point she gave me a half an eye roll which was very rude. Not exactly a pleasant person...and definitely not someone you want help customers. Bottom line is there is one customer and 3 employees...someone should have provided immediate assistance. I finally got out of there at 8:22pm. I will NOT return to CVS. Please advise your employees to treat customers kindly.

On 8/26/2022 I drove from Newport News VA to Richmond VA on hold waiting for the pharmacy only to be cut off after 50 minutes of holding. I called the store back and reached out to the front of the store and the customer service was great. She took my name and number to pass to the pharmacy letting them know what happened and to have them call me back. They never did,Later that day I went in to have my prescriptions filled and I informed the pharmacist as to what had happened and received a blank stare as if I wasn't even there. On one of my prescriptions, they only had 11 pills of the medication I needed. They filled it with 11 out of 90 pills and I was told to come in on Monday to pick up the balance of the prescription.I went in on Tuesday to pick up the remainder of the prescription and to pick up additional prescriptions only to be told I could not get them until Saturday as they had billed the insurance and it was too soon to pick up that prescription. Another prescription was there but the pharmacists had to check it and to please wait.I waited only to have the pharmacists tell me to come back after 2:00 PM because she was going to lunch and closed the gate in my face. All this was after I was told to wait and stuck around in the store. She may have a Doctorate degree but as for her personal skills, they are sorely lacking.I will be transferring all my prescriptions to another pharmacy.

I have been using this location for over 2 yrs & I'm still just as happy as the day I first came here. Josh, pharmacy mgr runs a smooth operation. One thing that really impressed me was the day a script was sent in from M.D. Express & by the time I left the clinic & arrived at the store my script had been filled. VERY IMPRESSED with the kindness each tech & pharmacist has every time I come in. THANK YOU JOSH & today THANK YOU Erinfor your kindness & your patience...YOU ALL ARE AWESOME!

Ok. They have communication issues. At times my prescription is sent and they dont process it and dont text to let me know. Other times they get the prescription and let me know it's ready. Being that said, the employees are courteous even when you know they are lying. Just stating my observations. Would still go there.

Had to pick up a prescription for my elderly parents, that was sent the day before. I showed up after 1pm and they only one of the prescriptions ready. I was advised they didn’t have it in stock but it would be there after 2 and I could pick it up after 3pm. I arrived after 5:30pm and they still only had one ready and the other one was at the Target CVS in Hampton! Nobody asked it that was okay with us. It wouldn’t be bad for me put older people who only drive locally would have had a hard time getting their prescription. We will be moving their prescriptions elsewhere!

Not sure how friendly the staff is in the pharmacy because when I called to refill a prescription I was on hold for 45+ minutes with no answer. I called the front of the store and the employee was so kind to check and said they were busy and answering calls in the order they were received. This is not the first time I’ve tried to call and had no answer after waiting forever.

Pharmacy has been setting new lows year after year even before the pandemic. Last time I was in there I had been waiting two days for an rx, no calls ever answered so I went in. They inform me that they were 4 days behind in filling scripts. While I waited I heard an old lady complaining in the drive through that she had run out of her meds. The attendant somewhat rudely told her never to 'just run out' and to call and they would expedite it. On a whim, I then called the pharmacy. While I was standing there, letting it ring while they attended the woman, there was not so much as a beep - they had the ringers off.

I agree with pretty much every other review the store is fine the pharmacy however is rude and never fill meds on time they have been so late I used to get my script the day I see my doctor each month now I see my doctor and he calls my script in but it can't be filled until 2 weeks later now because they are ALWAYS behind and now because they can't fill the day my doc calls them in I have to personally drive up there normally it takes 2 or 3 times for them to get it filled I would call but everybody knows they won't answer the phone. Worst pharmacy I've ever been to

In my 52 years of living this pharmacy provides by far the worst customer service that I've ever seen anywhere by any company. If I never have another prescription filled by them it will be too soon. It's really sad that they are no more professional than that. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STUFF SITES TO ANYONE!

Pharmacy is extremely busy but the pharmacist and staff always have time to be helpful. They will take the time to review your medications, check on better pricing, and patiently assist in any way they can. I have found that both the pharmacist and staff have been knowledgeable, patient, caring and professional.One very important fact about CVS is that THEY DO NOT take Tricare.

The store is fine. If I could have rated the pharmacy a 0 I would have. They never have my prescription ready. I have a prescription on auto-fill and they couldn’t even manage to fill that on time. The only way I’m able to get my prescription is to go there in person so the can “expedite” my order (that should have been ready days ago) then I have to sit and wait 15+ minutes. I’m switching pharmacies, I’ve been euro CVS for years but I’m done.

I don’t usually shop here due to their prices being so high but twice this pharmacy hadThe medication mine did not. Today the pharmacist and assistants were exemplary and helped fill a desperately needed antibiotic and worked to fill it for me with a transfer from my pharmacy in spite of a national shortage. This pharmacy doesn’t have the best reviews but saved me twice so far. I appreciate that

I’m only giving two stars because the last 2 times I’ve picked up my prescriptions was surprisingly too easy. So hopefully it stays like this but I won’t hold my breath. It’s usually a complete nightmare to do anything with them. And the only reason I think the last two times were easy is because I called ahead of time and made sure they filled it. Otherwise they don’t. You basically have to bug them to fill your prescription I’ve found. They always tell you they have something and then you go and wait in line to pick it up just for them to say “oh we won’t have more till Wednesday”. So then you wait till Wednesday and go back and they say they still don’t have it. So many times I’ve gone a week or two without my meds because they can’t give a straight answer and make you run around back and forth. Or they say it’s ready and you get there and they say you have to wait 30 min, then after you wait and go back they still haven’t even filled it. Really if you want you stuff filled on time you just have to call them and bug them and make sure they have exactly what you need and when.

The pharmacists and pharmacy techs who work here are absolute idiots, they can't get even one of my prescriptions right. Do not even bother with sending your prescriptions here.

The pharmacy is very slow at filling prescriptions, the staff misses some prescriptions when picking up more than one, and the pickup/payment line is always long and slow. I gave them 3 stars due to current hiring difficulties, but the pharmacy wasn't much better before the pandemic.

Worst pharmacy experience I've had in my life. 2 different pharmacy techs told me they are 10 days behind in filling prescriptions. My scripts were sent over Tuesday. Still hadn't gotten text saying they were filled, so I called them Saturday, and had to wait on hold 18 minutes before anyone answered the phone. Tech told me that "they are in processing" and that it would still be another 3 hours before they could get them ready. Waited at the register 10 minutes, with no one else in front of me, before anyone even acknowledged I was standing there. Was able to pick up all but one prescription yesterday, but tech couldnt tell me why it had been placed on hold, and said it would "be 45 minutes" before they could get it filled and to me. I told them to fill it, and I left. I still havent heard from them to say it was filled and it's been 16 hours.

Didn't refill my prescription. Told me they would expedite. They told me to wait15 mins. Fine. Afterwards, told me they would call doctor. Next day, they were not able to fill prescription. Guess they never called. I called doctor and they called pharmacy. Day Three, no record of prescription or phone call from doctor. I called doctor again. They were incredulous. CVS told to wait me to wait as they expedited the order. This is now three days after running out. Needless to say, I'm changing my pharmacy.

I went in specifically for one particular item—Contact Lens Cleaner. Shelves were fairly bare for these items. The item I came in for was not available. So I purchased a comparable brand that I don’t usually use. I also purchased some very nice sympathy thank you cards and CVS spearmint candies. Then I used the “customer restroom”. This is when my experience shopping there at CVS in Yorktown at went bad. The bathroom was in bad shape. Debris was on the floor behind the toilet and around the perimeter of the room. The toilet, sink, and floor looked like they had not been cleaned in quite awhile(several days). Even the extra toilet paper in the bathroom was dusty from sitting in a dirty bathroom too long on the floor. Strangely the bathroom inspection report had been signed at 9:45 am that morning and it was 12:45 pm. So it is highly unlikely that it was trashed by previous customers that day. I do not expect an immaculate bathroom in a busy retail pharmacy like this one but I do expect it to be fairly clean and hygienic especially during the flu season and COVID-19 epidemic. I am thankful that a bathroom was available for customer use but disappointed that it was not clean.

My insurance requires me to use CVS, otherwise I would never use this pharmacy. The staff is rude, medications are not in stock and take days to be ordered and then days to be filled. This isn't one of those, waiting for the doctor's office issues, this is paper prescription in hand and the pharmacy still does not order the medications. Other pharmacies track prescription cards and apply them to each transaction. This CVS does not, even though they keep it on file, which means that anyone in your family that might pick up a prescription has to know to ask if the prescription card ON FILE was applied to the prescription before paying for the prescription. The female pharmacist can't be bothered to speak and uses the poor techs as messengers when they could actually look up and interact with customers. Overall, in the year that I've been forced to use this pharmacy I have yet to have a pleasant experience. If you have a choice as to which pharmacy to use, go anywhere else.

4 stars for the store, 1 star for the pharmacy. The manager/person running the pharmacy needs to get his/her act together. They're constantly days behind. Call in your prescription, get told it would be ready later that day. Arrive and find out that it will not be ready for "another 3 hours". You'll constantly here "we're behind 3 days." CVS pharmacies are an absolute circus.

Continue to have bad experiences here. Lost packages. The store is quite dirty. Perscriptions are not there even when told to come pick them up.. Front checkout is always piled high with random junk. Staff is a bit short, no rude, with customers. Dunno what's up?

I normally don't do this but today... It was just disappointing. I have gone to this CVS for a while and I never felt like they didn't care as I did this week. I dropped off my daughters script on Tuesday morning. The guy at the window clearly asks me "When would you like to pick this up", they usually ask. I tell him, I can pick it up tomorrow (Wednesday) since my daughter had 2 pills left. I go back there the next day, the prescription is not ready. They tell me that it would not be ready till Friday. I go back today (Friday) at 8:42 am and they tell me the prescription is STILL not ready. To top it off, both on Wed and today the head pharmacist which was a female, did not acknowledge me, didn't even bother looking at the window... the other pharmacists had to deal with my complaints. This is ridiculous. If they are going to ask when a customer would like to pick their meds, they should be ready on the day asked, not whenever the pharmacists feel like it. I'm done with this CVS. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

most unprofessional experience i've had at a pharmacy in a long time. Sick kid - needed a prescription about 5 minutes before closing & they didn't want "to stay late". Really?? Come on - 10 minutes to fill a prescription for a sick kid is going to ruin your night? wanted to send me 30 minutes away to a 24 hour. Wonder why people like this are actually in the business to fill prescriptions for sick people anyway. I won't be back.

Drive thru is terrible. Lady at the window was very rude when I came early for my covid test (by 20 mins and there was no one there) and told me to come back at the scheduled time. Parked my car and waited, came on the dot and had to wait 5 mins before I was greeted, and then 20 before she got the test started. They seemed very confused with the whole process. I’ve gotten this done at the CVS in Williamsburg and they were very polite and efficient. Not worth the early time slots if they aren’t going to take you at that time anyways.

this place has been going down hill in the last year and a half....never the same pharmacist and the perscriptions are screwed up and the drive thru people are rude! just ride thru and look at the building and land scape and you can see there is no care taking!

NEW REVIEW AS OF APRIL 18, 2016:If you have the misfortune of having to take ANY type of #PainMeds (Schedule II drug) for a chronic illness, DO NOT USE this pharmacy. Though the Pharmacist, Ryan Monfils, is great, the FEMALE pharmacy techs will lie right to your face, not passing along information that is necessary to your Quality of Life. They appear to believe that THEY get to decide whether and/or when you can actually fill a Legally Prescribed Medication. And they do NOT seem to think you have that right.They will "forget" to tell the Pharmacist you called, they will tell you they have medication when they do not. They will say whatever they need to say in order to get you off the phone, then deliberately do the EXACT OPPOSITE. This is called "playing with people's lives" and if CVS knew the difference between "right" and "wrong", they'd fire every single one of them (the female techs).But they won't. Because CVS doesn't give a damn about people like me, who jump through unimaginable hoops when it comes to these prescriptions. They only care about their bottom line. Us?? We're nothing but a number.

At my old pharmacy(no longer takes my insurance) I could ALWAYS sit and wait for them to fill it so I wouldn't have to drive back. Three out of the four times I've had to fill my daughter's script there was no pharmacist present so it could not be filled/approved whatever so I've had to come back (this is about 5 miles from my house,totally inconvenient. Also the one time I DID wait, it took so long I went and asked if it was ready yet... they had already stocked it forgetting to call me over the speaker. Worst I've ever seen
