Had the best experience at the Yorktown, VA Big Lots store. Assistant Manager Lilliam was incredibly helpful in reprinting a receipt I had lost. She went above and beyond to help me and was super responsive. Thanks to all of their staff!

I was very impressed walking into this Big Lots. Very clean, organized and had everything I was looking for and more. This is now my family's goto for Big Lots locations. Cashier was also welcoming and friendly

This is a very gross place to try to shop, if you can get to the door of a establishment while stepping over all type of garbage and beer bottles they should pay you fir shopping there JBH. Please watch out for speeding trucks and Hondas they blind you with headlights at night if your not speeding.

Prices aren't bad and with their rewards card, the deals are even better. Plenty of parking. You can order online and pick up in the store. They'll call another cashier up if the line starts to build up. Worth stopping by.

I just left this store and the lady followed me around, now I bought Two bedrooms just four months ago and always shop every other week I’m getting something but today I GET FOLLOWED,, THE LOOK I GAVE HER SHE THEN LEFT ME ALONE!!!!! SMH!! I’m pissst!!!UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!That person is no longer with the Company mmmmmm I wonder WHY? I KNOW WHY SMH, LET'S JUST SAY SHE WAS LOOKING AT ME BUT SOMEONE WAS LOOKING AT HER LOL!!!!

The BigLots in Yorktown is fabulous!! I was so surprised, I'm used to the one in Hampton and Newport News.Everything was neat, stocked, and clean. People were friendly!! I hate to say it but the store in Hampton almost made me quit Big Lots altogether. RATS are everywhere. Dirty, unfriendly associates... Yorktown Big Lots, you amaze me. You corporate should give you all a Hi 5! They really need to look at the Hampton store and get a new manager and associates! Get it cleaned up or close it. Wish I had taken photos.

If you are looking for work avoid at all cost, co-workers will single you out, for personal feelings and it's a lot of work for such low pay, doesn't reward loyalty someone has been there for 13 years still only getting 50cent more than minimum wage, which is what new people get offered, so much petty drama smh.

I literally love this store so much! There is so much stuff on sale, marked down, and just cheap! My friend was with me when I went to this store a few weeks ago and she found the mascara she loves for $3 cheaper than what she normally buys it for! My cashier was also SUPER NICE and friendly! I found awesome deals on makeup and beauty products and I am 100% coming back to this location!

The exchange policy is ridiculous. I wish I would pay on top of what I already paid, to exchange something with tags intact unworn that I have ALREADY exchanged with receipt but your employee gave me the same product I came to exchange back again. Of course by the time I realized she gave me the wrong item back I didn't remember where the receipt was anymore.That dear Big Lots is not my fault nor my responsibility to fix.However, I digress this specific big lots did not make the policy up.However you have one of the rudest employees I have ever come across. She has absolutely no business being anywhere near customer's. She just barked at me that it's policy like she had been waiting to say that to somebody all day long and her moment had finally arrived. And no, I wasn't confrontational or argumentative before you try to disvalue my statement using those tired excuses.But I went home and dug it out of the trash in the back yard just for her so she could have her beloved receipt.She knew I had been there to exchange it before because she was standing right next to the girl the last time I was there, staring right at her as if she were training her or something. When I mentioned it she tripped up in her lie, because she started off by saying she wasn't there and switched it to she wouldn't remember. Really?Do better Big Lots.

The store is always clean with a variety of items we need. You never know just what you might find there and if you're on a tight budget, you'll save a few bucks buying stuff here. The staff are nice and helpful.
