Service department is spotty. Made multiple appointments for various jobs and they were no-shows. When called to inquire on when they would arrive the mailbox was full. When I called the retail store to talk to a human being no action. Recommend other companies for your pool servicing needs.

Used to be a quality place. What happened? No one answers the phones - mailbox is full. Even went into store and requested callback for service. Nothing! Don’t waste your time or money here! (And I have been a client for several years until now!)

Not good service and ZERO customer service. I Spoke with Susan and she was so rude. I came to pay a bill that I was charge for a service that I never received! & she was so rude and had no civil service or even nice way to talk. I was explaining how they never cleaned my pool and had a proof with pictures and her response was getting up and yelling that if I don’t pay it she will take me to COURT ! Like is that even legal to talk to a customer like that??? that was not nice at all because I came all the way to pay but as customer who is upset for her service I have the right to talk about it. & apparently everyone was complaining about the guys who came and did my service and they ended up leaving so I was not the only person who received a bad service. Overall I’m not happy with the service and the customer service.

Frankie did and awesome job installing my pool cover with the closing of the pool and the hot tube. He explained everything to me and even took the time out to show me how to remove the cover with the tool. OUTSTANDING JOB FRANKIE. ANCHOR POOL YOU ARE THE BEST.

I visited Anchor Pools about 20 mins before they closed. I wanted to get my water tested because my pool had turned green and no matter how many times I shocked it and used algecide, it was not turning clear. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, hello, how can we help you. I explained my situation and the employees didn't pass judgement. He stated it happens often, but let's test your water and see how WE can fix it. It immediately became our problem and not just my problem. I definitely appreciated that! When I didn't have the dimensions and gallons of water in my pool, they still tried to help me. They didn't try to upsell me and weren't pushy. While the water was being tested, the employee made casual conversation and even gave me an estimated timeline for when I could see results for my pool. The best part is that they made me feel comfortable and not embarrassed. The whole experience with Anchor Pools was amazing, if I could give more stars, I would. I highly recommend to my friends and co-workers!

Don't know if they have changed managers or not, last year we used anchor pool with no problem, opened and closed the pool, did replaced our pump and the gasket on our filter, all in a timely matter. This year however, pool was opened on a Tuesday , by Friday afternoon the salt cell union nut had busted, water spurting out. I turned off the pump and proceeded to fill out an online service request (it was after 3:30). I called early the next open business day, left a vm detailing the problem, did so again twice that day and again twice the following day. On the third day I made 1 more attempt (never got a reply) and decided to go with another company when I got an email that service had been done. Not the correct service I had requested (a smaller detail that the pool guy requested) but was then assured someone would be there either Thursday or Friday to fix our salt cell. Never happened, called Friday afternoon to find out it had never been scheduled but someone would be out today, You guessed it, no one ever showed up. It has been 8 days since the water has been filtered, can't vacuum the leaves etc. from the bottom, can't let the water down (thunder storms) it looks awful. Monday I will call another company as I should have done last week.Update... don't know if this review had anything to do with it, but about 30 minutes after posting, I received a phone call saying someone was on their way....they are here now so hopefully the repair will be done and the pump will be running and the pool can get back in shape to use, they have always been a good business in the past.Pump is up and running, water flow is good, added a few bags of shock, hope it is clear enough tomorrow to see what I am vacuuming.

To the complaints... Walk in there, talk face to face with someone. I constantly see 3-5 people in there shopping. They are busy because you know they’re good. Anyway, they do everything and anything for your pool. Chemicals, tests, plans, cleaners, toys, etc. I enjoy their help and advice as a first time pool owner. A pool is a luxury, not a necessity, so enjoy it and put your money where your mouth is. It’s your investment, take the time and the money to make it well for you and yours.

Great staff and service! They were available very quickly to install my new pool filter and open it. They also stood by their price when they had quoted me $100 less than what the cost of the filter was. I will definitely use them again!

Anchor Pool Inc was told several times via verbal communication, text messaging, and email that we were requesting services for a NEW saltwater pool that required the use of salt and other chemicals. They proceeded to not only use the wrong chemicals but failed to put salt in the pool. After voicing the issue with the company, they still charge almost $300 for the incorrect services. I would not recommend this company to anyone for failing to correct the wrongdoing and still charge for the services.

If I could give zero stars to Anchor Pools to discourage anyone from choosing to do business with them, I would. From the lack of communication of service cost during an initial call to the owner's lack of professionalism or accountability for her service department's shortcomings and rude customer service representatives, I've never been more disappointed in 20 years of home ownership in a service provider. If you are comfortable with a company that bills for services you don't agree to but then threatens legal action for non-payment without even offering a simple apology for a misunderstanding, then this is the pool/hot tub company for you.

Anchor Pools isn't just a pool company, they sell and service Hot Tubs too!.My hot tub had a pump that wasn't working and my existing dealer couldn't fix it right away. So I went on-line and Steve Fox the service manager at Anchor Pools was able to send Juan out to fix my problem fairly quickly. Juan was very professional and courteous. Anchor Pools is now my go to company when I need service on my hot tub or Pool!

After six weeks of frustrating calls and lack of response from the Sundance Spa warranty dealer(Great Atlantic), I turned to Anchor Pools for help. They promptly sent out their technician who was knowledgeable, professional and fixed the spa that day. Their customer service is outstanding with great people and I highly recommend Anchor Pools.

Less than happy with their service of our Caldera hot tub. Paid $90 for the tech to come out for 10 minutes and say that we needed a new circuit board that came with a heater unit as a $700 package. In shock at that price, we called the place we bought the unit from in Richmond. The gentleman said to try a new heater unit that we could order for $100, which we did and that indeed fixed it. Of course the Anchor tech would have fixed it with the new heater unit being part of the package but there was no need to spend $700 for a package that included parts we did not need. Have to say the Anchor tech made a lousy call.

Never returned phone call or email regarding hot tub service. They may be a great company but they never gave me a chance to discover that and for that reason I would never buy from them.

To expensive. Recommend online orders on pumps and filters and equipment if you don't mind wait. Service is to expensive. Get your salt and other chemicals from home depot and Walmart. Although all local pool supply stores are not any better. Visit only if you can not wait for online orders. Expect to pay almost double on Hayworth pumps.

Came in, showed them a video of my sand filter acting crazy. 5 minutes had the parts, great price comparable to Amazon.
