Very good store. Very helpful hard working employees. The team members are the nicest people around. Store is always clean and well organized. They have a colored tag system. So the color of the week is half price. Many good items and a great place to shop. They also carry furniture. Good place to donate your items. It helps people get training and jobs. They carry books if your passing through and looking for something to read. Bojangles is next door and they have good food.

On March 19th 2024 I stopped into the Christening Va location the staff was friendly and I purchased two pair of ladies jeans 8.00 dollars a piece I asked the sales clerk since I am not allowed to try them on can I exchange them at the Wytheville Va store because it’s close to where I live the jeans were to small so today 3-20-2024 I took them to exchange at the Wytheville store took them in with receipt in hand handed them to the manager then proceeded to shop for a larger size when I got up to check out I ask the clerk where are my jeans and receipt she called for the manager and the manager could not produce my receipt that I handed to her upon entering the store she took me for two pair of jeans at 8.00 dollars a piece plus tax she actually stole from me I’m a Christian my husband is in the ministry I’ve never stollen anything in my life that was a terrible experience if she is stealing from the customers she’s also stealing from the store. She yelled at me the young lady working in there felt so bad for me she seen it all what a horrible thing to do. My husband asked me if I had learned anything from the experience and my reply was never trust anyone and that I should pray before doing anythingIt really upset me she took my money I will never shop or donate to Goodwill ever again

I agree with a lot of comments on here about the prices on a lot of items being ridiculous. Goodwill responded that they have to sort and put items out. Every store has to do that. Prices are much cheaper at our Salvation Army store. They have to do the same thing. And they talked about job training. I dont think they train employees all that well. When i am in there a lot of items arent in the right place. My size clothes are rarely where they are suppose to be. Very disappointed in how they operate now. Once when i was in there a cashier was talking about people from another state. She was making fun of them. I listened for a while while waiting in line. I finally had enough. I told her i was from there. She got really embarrassed. But too bad. She shouldn't be taking about people like that. I was really angry. When I went out to parking lot there were several cars from that state.

Wytheville Goodwill this store needs to be shut down so it can actually be a place to help people including homeless people. I stopped donating years ago . The prices are ridiculous a person can go to Rose's or Burkes and buy new cheaper.

Since when do they go through the clothes and put higher prices on the name brand stuff? It’s not like this is donated to y’all for free or anything. I’m not paying 15 dollars for a used shirt. Corporate greed at its finest.

Shopped on Friday 2/3/23. Prices are about 25% to 30% higher than before on women's clothes. Jeans are now $8 instead of $6. Women's tops are now $5 instead of $4. So, one top & one pair of jeans costs $13 now instead of $10. Clothes are well-organized but not as many jeans as I have seen before. Lots of other clothes for women. Dressing rooms are available and clean, as is the whole store. Staff will not negotiate on an item that is stained, so check your clothes carefully, as I have often found stained tops and pants in this store. Returns are exchange only, within 7 days. Out of 8 tops & 7 jeans I only got one item at half price - the color for the day was orange. Still, this is a good store to shop.

Prices are higher than the average. You can go buy the same stuff at the retail store for a cheaper price than Goodwill. The stuff is donated to them but they are prices to make them a million dollars a year. I don’t donate anything to them anymore due to the cost of the merchandise. I use to shop Goodwill several times a week now I go to different Goodwills stores that sell better stuff and for lower prices than Wytheville Goodwill. I do not recommend donating to them.

I used to love shopping here but now the prices have went up and some things are just better bought elsewhere due to prices! Some Kids shirts they carry are better to buy at Walmart and $30 for a sheet set?im just disappointed that,these things are donated and given to them yet they want to put prices that a homegoods store would have on it! And also, things like fake houseplants were disturbingly dirty and had dust all over.Nobody wants to buy an item that is in that shape!I won't be coming back!

I give $3 for a tape of that Murphy Brown tv program. I couldn't quit wartchin it so I donated it back to em. I wished somebody would go in there and buy it cause I know next time I go in there with a hot $3 in my pocket that it's coming back to the house with me.

SO Disappointed in Goodwill. We just come in here in wytheville store a couple days ago, and they've raised their prices way above what they should.. that's awful.. this stuff is donated to them free.. Free.. yes they help certain causes but they don't help no one that I know of and not around here.their taking advantage of poor people that comes to goodwill. This is second hand stuff. It's not supposed to be raised to this amount they have on this stuff. Someone needs to remember what Goodwill is about and quit worrying about that extra dollar.. Also items that's supposed to be sold together Goodwill in wytheville va is separating every piece.. we pull up things when we're in the store oil lamps that's supposed to have top globe don't have it, toys are supposed to come with attached pieces that there taking off and others.. this is ridulous. Do what's right by people in the community. Everyone needs things don't go to dollar general prices on used items, they sell new stuff. Drop theses prices like they was. That's the right thing to do

I used to love my Wytheville VA GoodWill visits. Lately, they have started spraying vile, disgusting, strong perfume in all the stores. This is so strong it aggravates my allergies and asthma. I wore my mask today in order to see if that helped keep the perfume out of my throat and nose. It didn't, I had to leave because my throat was swelling up. I have no clue why GoodWill stores started doing this. They have no concern for their customers health at all! The smell is so strong that it smells like they broke a perfume bottle in the store and just left it or someone bathed in perfume before walking in the store.Also, when items aren't priced and they are taken to the checkout, instead of asking me if I am ok with whatever price they come up with they just put a price in for it and never even tell me what they are charging me.Many items are from the Dollar Tree and GoodWill is charging $1.99 or $2.99 for them. Prices have skyrocketed on everything. I can find cheaper prices at Walmart now.

I loved coming into this Goodwill! Compared to the ones in my city, they had really good prices on their clothes and shoes! Some of the clothes were a little too worn, but they did have plenty of other items in good condtion! Spend a little time in here and you will probably come out with a treasure or two!

My experience is I’ve been in other Goodwill stores in Texas, Atlanta, Pennsylvania, etc they have row after row of things organized by color. Dishes, seasonal decor, pictures, paintings, tons of appliances, lamps ice furniture,,etc. If you’ve only been here and maybeRadford you have no clue what should be there. I think they are shipping the more valuable things to a more lucrative store/location. This store is full of worn out clothes. I don’t shop GW in Wytheville.

I have always donated to goodwill & salvation army. Here, i can only go to goodwill, but for the life of me their pricing is confusing, to say the least. They had a beautiful loveseat on sale for $50.. now the kicker; a reclining sofa & recliner for $30. What gives? Anyway you look at it, everything is donated. They dont have to rob us.

If you like to peruse clothes, stuffed animals, & books, they have lots here. Furniture, not so much. Staff friendly, plenty of parking. Store good sized, organized.

It's crazy that you can go to a Goodwill and sunglasses and reading glasses cost you a dollar 99 more then they would at the Dollar Tree and only 8% of each dollar is given to the needy and not the greedy. They are also using sites like eBay and Etsy to base their prices of things they know are popular.

I've been in the Wytheville Goodwill store several times now, and they have a decent variety of items. As with most thrift stores, the majority of the store is filled with clothes, but they do have books, housewares, toys and a few electronics.

Very cheap, I have found very good things at a good price, I recently moved to this town and I have found quite a few very good things for the decoration of my house and above all at a good price, the people are very friendly and everything is very well organized it is easy to find things by classification, the only thing that seemed a bit expensive to me is the furniture since although they are very worn and battered if the price is high.

I went to Goodwill in Wytheville today and I wasn't very happy with the way they have put those clothes together. I asked where are the sweatshirts. The lady said they're combined with the ladies tops and I said why are they. I said you don't have hours to go through all those tops. Well as far as I.know now I want be going back to a Goodwill store..

Staff is always friendly and store is kept clean. Selection of clothing is the most generic and boring I have ever experienced.
