Great place to shop. The shelves stay fully stocked. The employees here are always super helpful. They don't mind trying to help you find something if there does happen to be a hole on the shelf. They even price matched for me the other day, which they don't advertise as doing.

I love this Food Lion! The employees are always friendly, helpful and courteous. I have been shopping here for 33 years. The prices are comparable to other food stores around and the selection is good. I live about 5 blocks away from Food Lion and this is one of my favorite places to grocery shop. Very convenient.I would highly recommend this store!

Like Food Lion much better than Walmart. Still no clorox wipes or Lysol spray but its OK. Great staff. Very friendly. 7-10-22 update. Store is looking much better. Noticed stockers putting things away and shelves are looking much better. 10-16-23. Always like this Food Lion better. Cindy Hibbs is a great manager and all the staff always go above and beyond to help us any way possible. Always friendly. Always courteous. Shelves are fully stocked and store is always clean.

Close to home and very convenient. It's never packed full like Walmart and has excellent climate control. Prices aren't too bad either. The evening manager, Emily Johnson, is extremely friendly and always helpful.

Just happened to be in the area. Made my first quick stop into the food lion. I was surprised at how small it was. That being said it was clean, and people weren't overtly rude, but seemed rather quiet. Then again I was just dressed for picking up some hay at Rural King, so perhaps I looked unkempt?

We shop here often and have noticed a lot of produce being bad not long after being put out and seen 2 carts full of cold produce that have been setting and have reached room temp and they put the food into the cooler section, mentioned this to a manager and they acted like it was no big deal. Have also noticed the same thing with frozen meats such as steak-ums etc normally turn brown on the edges if left out. The staff here are very uneducated to bacteria etc and are lazy, be cautious buying food here. We have been sick several times and now we know why...

Great store with good prices. However as someone who is high risk to Covid I am very disappointed in the staff's mask wearing skills. My 4 year old nephew can do it fine there's no excuse to not wear one properly. I'll be shopping elsewhere for my own safety.

We shop here regularly.They have great produce, a good selection and also a wide variety of other grocery items. The prices are decent with weekly sales on a variety of grocery staples. They have a help desk, public restrooms, a friendly and helpful staff and they most always have enough cashiers available to keep the waiting to a minimum. All in all it's a great local grocery store to patronize.

I love Food Lion. Though it's not a huge store, there is a good selection of grocery items. The fruits, veggies, and meats always look good. It is clean and we'll kept. The staff is very helpful but sometimes the check-out folks could be a little friendlier... but that's OK. It's not easy working with the public all day.

Stopped here for to grab chicken tenders from the deli and a pack of Hawaiian sweet rolls. Food Lion has the best chicken tenders! Party snacks for the evening. Clean store and friendly service.

Wytheville Food Lion always has the freshest produce and great specials on meats. The employees are very courteous and helpful. My only problem is I always buy more than intended, due to low priced specials! Can't really complain about that.

Food Lion has a bad habit of constantly changing out products. If you find something you like, you can assume it will be removed at any time. Add the unprofessional behavior of the cashiers at the location by Rural King and it's starting to make Wal-Mart look better all the time. Honestly just waiting for Food City to open at this point.

I was actually impressed with this store. It was laid out a little different from the stores near me but after walking thru the entire store I liked it better than where I shop which is the same store. Seemed like they even had a larger selection of goods.

The Food Lion was clean and we'll stocked. They even had some items in stock I have trouble finding at home in the Atlanta area. Will certainly stop by and pick some up on my way home in a few days.

Always go to this one but there was a a very rude employee at the deli that I had never seen there before and find myself avoiding this one now because she tried to kick me out and was saying how she was going to get arrested if she was left alone to wait on me. Very rude and unprofessional

This is a smaller store. Not a wide selection, but it's sincere. However, this store had Smucker's Rasberry & Blackberry Jam in stock. I haven't been able to find that particular Smucker's jam in years. I thought it had been discontinued.
