I recently moved into the area from Christiansburg. We thought getting a drug store at least as good as we had in CB would be hard but this CVS is the best. Quick, friendly, and they pay attention to details. I'm so glad we listened to a friend and ignored the bad reviews.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. A few Months ago we switched our prescriptions to CVS. Our prescriptions are never ready on time. We started calling ahead to ask if they were ready, we are always told that they are ready for pickup, then when we get to the pharmacy they say the medication isn’t ready and that We have to wait at least 30 minutes to 1 hour.Today makes day three of going back-and-forth between CVS and our insurance company over a particular prescription. We have always paid $10 for this particular medication. Now CVS is saying that the cost is $62.99, while my insurance company is telling me not one hour later after walking out of CVS that it should be $10. Calling our doctor on Monday to switch pharmacies.

Ok cvs isn't necessarily a bad place for medication business. But when it comes to answering the phone they definitely drop the ball on that one. I understand its busy season for medication & etc this time year or possible short staffed. A wait time of 15min or more on the phone though seems a little long though without any clue to when your going get to talk to someone. They still are a good pharmacy but just better if you need to do business is easier to just go in person.

Everything they never have prescriptions ready will tell you next day. An hour and then 20 minutes and still won't be ready. I feel they do this to certain people on purpose anyways switching pharmacy because they don't care they are always behind or do not have the medication. Imagine if everyone left CVS. Then they could go get a hard job I believe they target certain prescription and people

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I've ever been to. I've been here over 3 or 4 separate months and every time I come in there's a problem with the prescription. I'm always asked to wait in line move to another register wait in another line move to another register. No one seems to understand or know what's going on and no one communicates inside the building. You're told to just go stand in a corner somewhere and wait while they figure out what they're doing. You're constantly told that you are provider is the one that isn't sending the information when they constantly are screwing things up. Absolute worst pharmacy ever I've been to

After coming in with a fever being diagnosed with strep they said 45 minutes. So I left to sit in my car so I'd be comfortable and not get anyone else sick and when I came back in 50 minutes later not one of the 4 prescriptions is ready. No one has apologized or said they'll get on it faster only looked at me like I was rude for asking about them and said they'd get to them when they get to them. Anywhere is better in town than this CVS.

I've used this pharmacy for months and it has been miserable. They clearly have no concern, at all, that people NEED their medications within a reasonable amount of time. They do not keep a medicine I use and need daily in stock for me. In my opinion, the incompetence of this pharmacy rises to the level of negligence, and this pharmacy should be shut down for the good of the public.

Good luck getting past that stupid recording. I’ve never hated a pharmacy so much as I do this company. I can’t take my much needed medication because it was sent to the wrong cvs and the recording didn’t understand. I t was impossible to to get to a live person. I did NOT need this haste when I’m so sick and I will NEVER use cvs again!

Incredibly rude staff and super slow. I came in four times in one day, each time I was told it’d be another 40 minutes. And they were incredibly rude and made me feel embarrassed for returning so often, even though it was not my fault. Had to make a return trip the next day to get my meds. And this is 30 minutes out of my way

Hard to get anybody to communicate with you or even answer the phone. Failed to fill prescriptions in a timely manner. I know times are hard with staff but I’ve never experienced such poor service at a pharmacy.

They is one pharm tech that is pretty rude regarding general questioning about medicines and picking up prescriptions. She is very short and snappy with answers even when you PRESENT the text messages you have received and responded to about pick up time. The other techs and possibly one other female pharmacist is very nice and cordial.

So just found out they lie to get u out of there I was told they sent the paperwork in but no after a week still no medicine the papers haven't even been sent all of them are rude and don't expect anyone to care they don't at all. I've never had this much of a problem thus will be the last time I go to this store its ridiculous the way they treat people and don't call they do not answer the phone ive been in several times and they just let it ring I guess they can't multitask and the automated system is wrong I guess they taught the computer to lie too smh it's sad how many people r going without medicine because they don't push a button! Worse pharmacy ever!

It does not seem to be the CVS Franchise in itself, but more so just this location. The other surrounding CVS’s have been absolutely great to work. I would rather drive 30 more minutes out of my way then have to enter the Wytheville location.

Cvs in Wytheville there pharmacy sucks going to have my dr transfer to walgreens.today they said they don't know when it will open back up .we never had any problems when counts was here

Terrible. Dropped the ball on my (very important) medication literally 3 MONTHS IN A ROW. What CVS couldn't do for 3 straight months, the pharmacy in Walmart accomplished in 15 minutes. How sad is that?

I have to say talent like I was in a commercial. I had asked chance (the employee) for a device and he walked me to it as I was gathering myself as to what i was looking for was, as we walked back and when we arrived I looked at a few before the brand hit me and bam he found it without offering a different brand from it. That was commercial ready performance lol

I’ve had such issues since transferring my prescriptions to this CVS location And they just don’t answer their phones in pharmacy Last week I was in there again It’s amazing how they just let the phones ring I’m going to have to find another pharmacy

Super helpful and accommodating store. Yeah, it's a CVS, but the person working the night I came by was really great. He really seemed eager to help, and was helpful, and that's pretty rare these days.

Machine is on an hour before closing time stating that pharmacy is closed. Fill for 30 days when prescribed for 90??!!??!! Pathetic!!!!!
